Yeah, I'm not going to make it home for the holidays. sad I'm quite sad that I'm not going to make it and spend time with my parents and have the whole "holiday" feelings of warmth and love and joy.

Yeah. sad My parents are divorced. And every time I visit my dad, he always takes me to the movies and buys me stuff. I think he's trying to prove that he's better than my mom even though...... *sigh* I need to stop moping around. The holidays are coming up after all! biggrin

Material items can only go so far. sweatdrop I know the whole "buying your love" may work for a period of time, but it can get old fairly quickly. I think your father just needs to realize you're his daughter and you love each of your parents equally. 3nodding
I hope your holidays are going to be a joy, Ivy. Just remember to not to let your parents behavior get in the way of your enjoyment, okay?

14, but I see dark movies all the time. 3nodding My dad usually takes me to them though. My mom said it was a musical and I've yet to tell her it's rated R (at least I think it is). She'll probably cover my eyes if anything gory happens. sweatdrop

Sweeny Tod... never heard of it. Is he s'pposed to be a serial killer? Either way, I'm not much for scary movies. Kita Cloud I'm quite sad that I'm not going to make it and spend time with my parents and have the whole "holiday" feelings of warmth and love and joy. Well, if we're any consolation, Kita, Merry Christmas! *hugs* heart

Yes, he is supposed to be a serial killer. And his assistant bakes the victims into pies.
*Hugs Kita* Don't worry. I know how you feel.

Well, I like sick and dark stuff. That's why I like JTHM. ......But I hate Johnen.
Oh, and he is only killing the people that took part in taking his family away... if that helps any of you.

So he kills people in retaliation for this? I don't know. That's more extreme than it should be. sweatdrop

Just think of it like the movie Crow. Only.... with razorblades.....and pies......and songs..... sweatdrop hmm, maybe I should think of another movie to compare it with.
Sweeney Todd is played by Jhonny (sp?) Depp, and the director is Tim Burton. That is another reason why I want to see it.
