Well good news. I'm back (sort of) I've moved country from Scotland to Japan. Mainly for work and life experience. Which I'm getting lots of.

I work as an English teacher (even though my grammar sucks) and it is fun. I don't like the long hours and I miss British food a lot. I'm enjoying my time here and I go sightseeing when I can.

Yeah and I also miss my SHe-Hulk comics, they're impossible to get. I can only find X-Men comics.

2. You...MISS, British food? You miss it. Miss...British...I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. You miss...what?

Heh; I was doing that too. Do you mean you miss food you can find in Britain?

Oh! Ok, I get it. You miss being able to find things like Toblerone. Or chips. With fish (although I've heard England isn't all that big on seafood for AN ISLAND). That would be understandable.

Yes... I miss British food. Hard to believe, but when you're raised on the stuff you get used to it. Kind of like a pimple that never goes away. I miss meat pies and pickle onion crisps. cheese_whine

At least the Japanese make good tea and they have lots of good sweets that go very well with said tea. *sips and munches*

I don't know how long I'm going to stay in Japan but probably for a few years at least. (With the occasional home visit.)

I know I'm late in posting this, but here is a picture of me when I was younger. Had to have been about 3 or 4 here.

Well think of it this way; if its next week then you are done almost a month before I am. I'm freaking out about finals already because my professors are hyping up how everyone needs to study and I'm just slightly a**l about grades to start with. Plus I have ******** hard classes- but I think you've got me beat; finance and law?! Power to you friend. gonk

Yeah but I've barely studied so I could do with another month crying Though even if I had another month, I doubt I would've studied anyway so I guess it wouldn't make much of a difference xd

I really hate finance though. I just wanted a double degree which is why I chose it. It's dry as hell to read and it's just really, really boring. I realised I hated it by the time I was about halfway through it but it was too late to bother about changing it. I only took on law because it's like 1 extra subject gets me 2 submajors out of it. I'm just glad the final's open book

Best of luck with everything. I'm sure you'll do fine

I had to log-in to Gaia for a work-related task and figured I'd stop by and say hi. Things are not rosey and sunshiney here at the Blue Horse Trading Company, but I'm getting by. I'm trying to improve my lot in life. There is talk of moving and perhaps a new store with me in a managerial position, but that's all in the air right now, and honestly it probably won't happen, but I have some hope that it will.

I've been spending a lot of time alone reading, and I think this is my third post in almost two months on the entire Internet. I've also been playing a lot of Final Fantasy XII also, due to constant equipment failures. It's a fantastic game, and I'm almost finished with my first playthrough. Balthier and Al-Cid are awesome. It's hard for me to decide who I have the bigger man-crush on.

Also, I've been plotting out a six-issue mini-series about an entire family of African-American superheroes. To my knowledge, there's never been more than two memebers of an African-American family who have been capes and cowls business. I felt that there should be a better representation of a black family in comics, as I really love Micheal Holt, John Henry Irons, and T'Challa, but they feel smaller without the huge family and the spiritual and rural roots that people like myself have.

I still need a couple off more months away from here before I'll feel comfortable coming back here. I have plans firmly in my mind on what I want to do when I come back. All my Kapow! mules will be switched out for sure, so expect to see some new stuff from me.

Later all.

Wow! You did the same thing my roomate did. She took finance to fill in her minor and realized she hates it. She said reading the text makes her want to die, so she doesn't. Yet somehow she gets good grades in the class. I can't do that- I feel the obsessive need to read the text even if it won't teach me anything new. gonk

Good luck to you too!

You know, those complaints about Finance are really turning me off from going back to school. I was planning on going back and majoring in Accounting. sweatdrop

Accounting isn't bad on the math end, it's just majorly a**l retentive. stressed Thus why I will not be continuing anything in that genre after I finish my damnable Accounting class.

YES! SPECTOR HAS HOPE AGAIN! I've found a school (in chinatown of all places) to continue and finish my animation and cartooning studies! If all goes well with my friday interview, I should be back in school in less than two weeks! YES!

Man, who would've thought that in Chinatown, the Mecca of anime, porn and illegal goods, that I would find an accreditted animation and cartooning school where the tuition is only $30 a week!

between that and the fact that I found a new computer (because someone threw it away), I, just like my comic book counterpart, am back in full swing! PAZUZU HAZAH!

BTW, uber cute you were, spellman. uber cute.

and good luck to thee, shulky! and as per your comics, try an online subscription via Midtown comics. They provide virtual subscriptions and back issues of your favorite comics for moderate prices. definately something to look into if you miss your american and european made goodness.
