*Luke led her down the street, not even a block.*
*Until they came upon a busy farmer's market, set up at the corner of Broad and South Street. Fresh fruit and vegetables surrounded them, being sold by farmers from surrounding counties.*

:::At first Cora was a little confused, but soon she spotted a bin FULL of familiar red apples. It wasn't long before she understood that all the other things were either different kinds of apples, but other food types as well.
Before Luke could say anything different, she walked right up to the red apples, grabbed one and took a big happy bite:::

*Luke's eyes go wide.*
*A vendor who looked like he probably played football in high school - in whatever South American country he was from - comes up to them. He looks at them with a frown and asks in an even tone.* "You going to pay for that?"
"Yeah." *Luke digs out his wallet and presses a ten dollar bill into the man's hand.* "Give us as many as we can get."
*Luke looks at Cora and shakes his head.* Jesus, Cora. *He looks at her eating the apple, and though he tries not to, a smile forces its way onto his face.*

:::Cora was worried about the unhappy looking large man, but eventually Luke smiled. She continued to munch, and tried not to talk with her mouth full. But she decided she didin't want to stop eating just to talk, so needless to say, it didn't work:::

Okay, and you remember at D'Angelo's. The place where they gave us pizza and we played a couple rounds of pool. *He clarifies.* Yeah, well we had to pay to eat there.
These people come here to sell their fruit, and if they're not compensated for the fruit they sell, they tend to get upset.

Well, you see poverty is simply the result of citizens not having shelter, not having clothing, or food, or a means of provision. The government took into their own hands that all humans require these things, so they are all provided automatically as part of basic human rights. Because all people agree with this, we all agree to work, and in return we are provided these things. No money neccessary. If we seek to excede in life, and would prefer a lifestyle different from the one we are provided by the government, we are then allowed to attempt excellence in either work or study, at which point we are ...

Oh, well physical ability surely...naturally those who participate in the police force such as I are GIVEN extra ability. But there is no one in our society incapable of the job they are assigned. I think you might recall that I am from a very advanced society who's people do not rely on manual labor nearly as much as yours. I do believe you are at the dawn of the information age. It is a fascinating period in history...the spawning of what is to come...

The government assigns people their jobs. How do they decide who'll be in the government?
