PSMO's really pissing me off. My main trouble spots are just before the 4th slowdown (usually just a few stray Greats here and there, but it happens just about every time.), the second half of the death run (SDG usually gets lost about there, no matter how many times I practice that part I can't PA it. -.- ), and...basically everything after it. The slowdown usually kills me (never been good with speed-changes), and the last run before the ending I also get some Greats, probably because by then I've already said "screw it". After that pic I tried a few more times, I got 17, but got a bunch of combo-breakers out of nowhere at the end. gonk
Haven't played Legend of Max hardly at all since I SDG'd it (aside from Razer's all-LOM challenge). I'll probably try AAAing it after I get my CF.

Are you a visual player? For the slowdown, listen strictly to your steps and use the arrows as just a guide.
Im sure you can play it on 2x. o_O At that speed the slowdown shouldnt be too hard to read.

Today I randomly decided to play Extreme 2, after not playing it for 3 or 4 months. I really improved on dance master mode. I finally passed that really nasty stage where you can't step on any down arrows, and you can't get less than a great. I passed it on my 22nd try. (I only tried 5 times today.) I also somehow managed to get a C on Sakura heavy. My first 10 footer, when I still can't pass one or two of the 8s and 15% of the 9s. And I'm starting to like the game, when before I thought it was a waste of 42 bucks.

Im sure you can play it on 2x. o_O At that speed the slowdown shouldnt be too hard to read. Yeah, I've been playing it on 2x for awhile now. The slowdown's a lot easier that way, but the death run's pretty bad. I'm sure if I whore it a bunch, it'll get better though. ...They really should implement the ability to change speed mods mid-song like DistorteD does. surprised

Edit: Post ID 66586666 lolololol. Just got Extreme JP. Owns the s**t out of the US version.  In the middle-ish. sad  Blackflagged many many times back in the day.  Hell yes.  First set of jackhammers. :/  Forgot to dim background videos. In the part with a bunch of stream that follows the piano, the background video (with a bunch of rainbow-colored energy s**t going up the screen) goes in sync with the arrows on 3x. ******** hard to read.  Beautiful song.  Because I just graduated and AAA'd my final test lolz  Paula Terry can sing!?!?!?  We need more unreleased IIDX songs in DDR. *cough*Airen plz*cough*  Because AAA'ing 3 offbeat songs in a row = awesome.  I hate this song.

Id think someone who could get 90 on pandy should be able to AAA maxes easily, though. o.O You been slacking off?

Max 300, my Greats are usually a couple after the freeze, the end triplets, and the occasional stray Great during the streams. I need to work on PAing non-streamy stuff. My MaxX Unlimited score is hanging around 11-14, Utopia will never get AAA'd because of that part, my PSMO score sucks because I'll do fine in the streams and ******** up in the weird parts. Hell at this rate, I'll probably AAA Max. (period) before Max 300 because aside from simple jumps and Paranoia-esque jacks, it's nothing but stream. gonk
