At a distance a pure black mare, white only on her legs and a red rose on her rear, walked past. She had silently been watching the two. "pshh, what a whimp." she commented to herself, about Tie. "So pitiful. and she can't even see he's useing her." she smirked. "I like him...I'll have to watch this for my moment..." she turned and with a final glance ran off.
Tie never noticed the silent mare watcher and moved over to get a drink. "any placed near here of intrest?" she asked.

Depends what you find interesting he commented. There are the flower fields normally in a higher valley, though at the moment it is just a large field of unbroken snow. You are currently in the Orchard. There are some neat boulders two valleys over, that I have not seen anywhere else. He had senced the other mare's presence, but did not comment about it, especially with what Tie had said just a little before.

Right. He turned to look the other side of the hot spring, and the hill behind it. Sadly, you're going to have to do a little climbing. A mountain at least. Do you feel up for the walk?

Well, for this walk, you have a place to come back to, even if it is just a hot spring and apple grove. Come on then. I'll take you to the rock grove. You might just like it. And it's very pretty in the snow. He started walking in that direction, and then turned slightly to see if she was following.

Tie followed him, keeping pace easily. As she walked she smiled lightly. This was nice, she desided. Even if this only lasted a week or two...it was a little bit of happyness in an otherwise dark point in her life.
