Kibo's shoulders fell, but he remained cheerful.
Kibo: No reason. It's just that it gets mighty boring sometimes, and teaching would be a great way to take my mind off...
He trails off, staring out to sea, before snapping back to reality.
Kibo: ...nevermind.
He turns and walks away, taking another quick glance out to sea.

Gwendolyn raised her hand, immobilizing Kibo. Then she spoke to him.
You know very well that I can read your mind anyways. So you might as well be a man and tell me yourself, Cap'n. What is it that's troubling your mind that much that you would want to teach me Necromancy?

((yay we're at sea!! o.o *bows* Forgive the very long absence!!! been busy and what not and now have limited time...o.o;; ))
Jaxxon discovered a little flute below decks and plucked it from its little prison. Hoping no one minded, she cleaned it up a little bit and took it to the deck where she perched upon on the railing that usually blocked the captain from the crew. She put her lips to the flute's mouthpiece, her fingertips to the wholes and started to play a small melody.

Kibo smiles, and snaps his fingers at his side, allowing him to move again.
Kibo: And you know very well I can break any spell you cast. It's something that I have to bear alone, and I would appreciate it if you let me do just that. Sorry for the gruff manner, but it had to be said.

Gwendolyn withdrew her hand which had been clenched into a fist. The breaking of the spell hurt her hand. Not knowing what to do next, she shrugged and turned away, returning to her post.
Fine then Cap'n. So...to get off the subject... where are we headed now?

Kibo's normal crooked smile returns, and he stares out to sea.
Kibo: Hmm... Well, I've long since given up on finding the Flying Dutchman, so I guess we should just head out towards the nearest island. It'll be good to rest our legs on solid ground, rather than a rocking ship.

Uh huh. And would that be the nearest island?
Gwendolyn then turns around and points to the land just visible though normal human would hardly see it at this distance. And this island just happened to be the Isla Cruces and she knew it was.

Kibo: Isla Cruces?! Ha ha! It sure has been a long time since I've seen that place. Let's go!
Kibo jumps to the wheel, and gently turns it, switching the ships course, and sailing her right towards the island.

Kibo whistles a strange tune as he steers the ship towards the island. He stops the ship at a safe distance, and walks over to the hatch, calling belowdecks.
Kibo: Everyone wake up! We're going ashore!
He turns to Gwendolyn.
Kibo: Captain Rackham, make sure everyone comes ashore. I apologize for not waiting, but there are many things that I must take care of on that island.
Kibo jumps overboard. He switches his blades' scabbards, making his wings appear. He soars towards the island, grinning the whole way.

Gwendolyn bows her head and takes the wheel.
Right, Commodore.
She then watches Kibo fly away until he became only a tiny dot on the island. She then began to shout orders.
Lower the boats! I want everybody on that island except for you four.
She pointed to four of Kibo's spirits.
I want you men to mind the ship. And if there's trouble that you can't handle use this.
She handed them a tiny handbell made entirely of silver although it was very dirty and it had scratches and dents all over it.
Just ring it and we'll come. Now the rest over you, hurry! Your commodore has already gone ahead! Bring your swords, cutlasses, pistols, whatever! Just come along. And keep to the code.

Kibo lands on the sandy beach of the island, and picks up a handful of sand before flying off again, towards the tree-filled inner island.

Gwendolyn and the rest of the crew row towards the island in five rowboats in a triangle pattern, Gwendolyn's being the one in the top. She narrows her eyes, squinting towards the cursed island.
C'mon mates! Row faster!

Kibo lands deep in the forest, and spots a large boulder with a small bowl-shaped indentation in the top. He pours the sand in it, and patiently waits for the rest of the crew, grinning.
