Relkin9 Nyghtbringer Okay! I have idea! Maybe this one is good.
I use Grey Knight Terminators for my Tzeentch ones? They look like better Terminators anyways. That is A good idea, but you will need to get rid of all the grey knights markings, and they will be on larger bases than other termies. Good idea all around though, except for the $50 price tag on the Grey Knights. Thing is, the bases models are supplied with are their new legal minimums. Which mean all your old termies on 20mm bases need to upgrade to the new 40mm ones.

xUnknownxAngelx Seraphine-Exalted Lycan_Angron depends? has ur daemon prince got stature? and has ur possessed got talons if so for both no more tanks... daemon prince has S6 and is monsterous, and yes the possesed have talons smile Hell yeah, a S6 character that does 2D6 to armour, how can you go wrong? Taking that instead of a S7 Character with 2d6 to armour.

Drachyench_The_Eternal Taking that instead of a S7 Character with 2d6 to armour. What Chaos power can give you strength 7? Base is S4, add Stature, and strength you go to S6 +2D6, I don't think you can have S7, unless I missed something.

If you are going with the "They are what they are giving out to the new ones" then it is not going to cut it. I am not WASTING my money on bases I do not need. GW screws us over alot on these kind of things, basicly, the models come with a specific basement size, this is the minimum base size required for the models to be mounted on, they can be larger if you want to, but not smaller. GW made new basements for the termies, along with new models, so only those bases and bigger are valid. GW sux from time to time

DevilFlameJr. Thanks for help guys biggrin I think i'll go for death guard, as they seem to be my style of fighters (rather slow, but no easy task to kill) but i'm not all sure hmm..... As the new terminators are supplied with 40mm bases, 40mm is the minimal base size for ALL terminators now. There's a similar base upgrade for a Tyranid model, but I forget which... It's been asked time and time again to GW, but they state clearly that models come supplied with the minimum size base, but you can make it bigger if you want. So, Termies are now 40mm-ers

But to what purpose do these new larger bases serve? I know that larger models (ie. Deamon Prince) need a larger base, but a termie is a small model. It doesn't need the larger base.

It's for representation in game. They're meant to be large. Giving it a larger base means more models can be in base contact with it.

Actually strength 9 on charge, darkblade +2 strength, stature makes base strength 5, furiius charge +1 strength on charge and daemonic strength. plus 2d6 armour penetrating.
