It comes with the job, you don't join the service if you want to eat good, or plan on living a long life, unless your dad is a senator and can get into the reserve or coast guard.

I am more than aware of that all im saying is it would be awesome to have a taste device in my mouth, s**t if im gunna run 30 miles a day along with 2000 push ups, sit ups, pull ups each. and chill45. degree water at the very least I can consume delicious ice cream flavored rations

I'm siding with DM on this one. They don't give soldiers s**t anyways. Especially after there done when they'll most likely need counseling.

If they can't afford to give soldiers to much, do you think that they'd spring for unnecessary implants? Heck, they might refuse to take you with something like that, then there is metal detectors, refiling it and so on, the price of one would be hard to get I'd imagine on a soldiers salary.

I know but hey I can dream right after all I hear the Navy SEAL health plan is pretty decent but wouldnt a taste implant go under Cosmetics? if so I would get 50% off for that

They would need to argue the hell out of the idea. That s**t needs approval for it to take effect. Somehow, Soldiers will improve their performance if the taste ribs at their whim....

They wouldn't give them proper supplies, so I'm sure they'd spring for taste squirters. You could just get a packet of sauce. Seriously, the only way they'd support it if it was like cigarettes in WWII, free. Of course they'd have addictive substances added to the mix.
