Mick listened closely to what his opponent had to say. He was obviously not the stereotypical crazy killer. "You're a swell guy, I really must say," Mick said with a grin. "Here's the plan: You'll go along your way, but," Mick dropped his grin for a very serious look, "I'm escorting you out. I'd like to believe your word, but somehow... I don't. And it won't look suspicious, since I'm always bringing new customers here."
Mick started lowering himself to the floor so he could pull up his pants, but kept his firm grip on the wires. "What do you say, eh?"

Adrian chuckled slightly to himself as he picked up a couple of the bags. Still favoring his other leg, he limped into the inn to walk them to the room. He turned very briefly to Elisabeth.
Where are our rooms madam?

Viken waited for a bit, and then walked in. The initiate came running up to him panting.
Whoa, slow down there. You ok?
Yeah. *pant pant* One sec.
What's up?
*deep inhale, and exhale* I couldn't find anybody, but there's a free room if you want it.
You sure it's ok?
It's easier to ask forgiveness than permission.
That is true. Plus if they want me to leave, i'm portable.
So, if you'll follow me...
Viken followed the still semi-exhausted student into the temple and then to a small room about 12 feet by 14 feet.
This'll do perfectly. Thank you.
If you need anything, ask me or look around town. I'll try to explain what's going on to anyone who asks.
Again, thank you.
The student bowed and exited the room, leaving Viken to unpack and settle in.

Sacros walked inside Laburnam, people looking at him as he walked in his huge black cloak, masking everything about him. He slowly walked toward the temple of light, some people jumping out their way to avoid touching or bumping into him. He ignored their fear, usually he would relish in it, but not today. As he walked toward the temple some people began cowering, or breaking down into a nervous state. They were weak minded, easily corrupted by the aura of evil he had about him.
He reached the steps and walked up them, some Light Temple assistants stopped and looked at him, a shiver going down their spine as he walked past them. His evil was like a stench, a heavy cloud of darkness hung over him, corrupting all that listened to him. As he reached the top of the steps he looked at the Temple's opening, a grin crossed his face, his eyes could just be seen from the cloth he had wrapped aorund his face. As he took a step in the tile cracked. His evil tainting the purity of the temple. People now watched him as he walked through the halls.
One attendant looked at him. Obviously the attendant was new, thinking maybe he could help this person. As he approached Sacros and tapped him on the back of the shoulder Sacros stopped. The attendent felt nervous as Sacros slowly turned around. He looked the man in the face and grinned, although all that could be seen were his eyes. The attendant wanted to run but couldn't. frozen to the spot. Sacros let his scarf around his face fall, showing his dark marks over his white skin. Marks of evil. The attendant opened his mouth to scream, but Sacros was faster. He didn't care people were watching. He lunged at the man, his mouth open, a set of fangs hit the attendant full on his the face. Sacros let his fangs rip through flesh. The attendent went pale, as he fell on his back blood poured over the tiles. A section of his neck was missing. Sacros grinned, spitting out the section of neck, letting blood was over his fangs he turned to the other residents. By this time they were in a state of horror, screaming.

Cries of horror ripped through the courtyard and everyone in earshot froze, staring at the small intiate girl who pointed and shrieked. The 3 Priests that were escorting the young magi had immediately surrounded Sacros and defensive spells flashed to life; light magic crackling through the air.
"Run young ones!" A Priestess cried, hurrying them away as she summoned a cluster of spirits to alert the other magi.
"Call the Paladins!" Crys of alarm and the thunder of footsteps filled the courtyard as several dozen priests recieved word of the attack and began to rush to the Western entrance, anger and shock fueling their actions.

Sacros laughed as the magi began casting their spells. He looked at them all and raised his arms. "Fools, your magic is pale in comparison to mine!" he yelled, quickly casting a counter to their spells he began walking toward one of them, he turned to move into a run. Sacros was faster, catching the light mages leg he swung him into the wall, splattering him across the surface of it. Blood hit everywhere, making a huge mess.
Sacros then turned his attention to another one of the mages, who seemed shocked at his force. He punched the mage in the ribs, crushing them and killing him in one blow. He then looked toward the third mage. He began casting a spell over him. He mage held his throat, the spell ripping him apart from the inside, the mage fell over, dead. Sacros then laughed evilly. He continued into the West Temple's side. The Dark Aura of the items in here drew him to them.

Almost half asleep, Viken snapped to attention when he heard yelling and commotion outside. He pulled out his "revolver" and unbound his sword. Whatever was going on, it couldn'tve been positive.
What in the hell?
He headed into the temple to stop a panicked initiate.
What's happening?
There's some guy at the west entrance. He's no good. Excuse me.
The student ran off to hide some of the other students. Viken headed in the opposite direction. Maybe if he helped, he could keep his room.

Sacros grinned as he slaughtered another Light Mage, there insides spilling on the purity of the temple. He grinned as he saw Viken come towards him. "Foolish Mortal!" he yelled at him. He drew his sword and walked towards him, cutting a few Light Mages to pieces as he walked. He was like a child in a candy store. He opened up his palm as he walked, an orb of dark energy appeared in his hand.
"I would run if i were you" he said slashing at another Mage, this one was on the floor and had been begging for mercy. He hated when people begged. His pure white skin gleamed with specks of blood. His black markings twisted as he grinned.

"What tricks?" he said as he placed a dark shield around himself. He then walked toward Viken "As for who i am" he said the dark orb growing. "I am your end" with that he threw the orb. Upon impact it blew up, obliterating everything within a ten foot radius. As the smoke cleared, Sacros couldn't see whether he had hit Viken or not.

Viken started moving faster when he saw the orb grow. He moved to the side, but felt it impact the hilt of his sword. It blasted him into the wall, burning his flesh and knocking him unconscious. Needless to say, he wasn't going to get up any time soon. The revolver was stuck underneath him, muscle and sinew barely visible from the wound.

Sacros walked toward where Viken was. He smiled as he looked at his limp body. He slowly picked him up by the collar and looked into his faded eyes. "Its time to die, fool" he said, getting ready to land the fatal blow. His hand moved back, ready to thrust his sword through his heart, he smiled at the mortal. He was prepared to kill him, to watch blood flow from his body. This would be good.

Alcyone Teshigahara ((Since Jello and Hoshimi aren't posting...)) (( *Muchos, muchos sweatdrop.* Yeah, I, um, thing, er... *Lost the will to post. stressed * Appoligies all around, eva-buddy. xp )) [[ PC section. ]] "Thank you," Sol said as Espa set the old man upon the bed, though hastily making off on her own business afterwards. It seemed that she wasn't one of his companions, but simply a good samaritan who picked the two up upon the road... It was refreshing to see good at work in the world.
Bowing his head to her slightly as he left, the Sage turned his attention back to Hoshimi, and did much the same. Bowing his head, he quickly uttered a few words of appology for what she had needed to endure upon the road, and then turned to his attendants.
"Thank you, both of you," he said to the two boys as he reached his right hand up; the sleeve falling back about his elbow as the hand was raised, and brushing a strand of hair back over his ear with a swipe of his fingers, "...but there isn't anything more for you to do, and you have your studies to attend to..."
The light mage failed to mention to his students that he did not want them around to witness what might be required, if the wound was as bad as he feared it might be... getting them away would be enough for now, even if he did do so under false pretenses.
"Now, shoo," he said, swishing his hand and stepping forwards to brush them out the door before he reached to the edge of it to push it shut... pausing, just before he did so, and looking to Hoshimi with a concerned gaze.
"It's up to you whether or not you want to stay for this, or go get some rest..."(( And we can just cut there and say that it took a few hours for whatever it was he did (don't feel like going into it now), and that should catch us back up with whatever. )) [[ NPC section. ]] (( Screw it. Don't feel like posting for NPCs the way this is going. If I want to, I will, but right now I don't care enough to. ))

Viken stirred. A spasm. An involuntary muscle reaction. But it was enough.
Through blearly vision and faded speech, he made out the wall. He barely heard the threat issued behind him. He knew he probably wouldn't get out of this alive. But he'd take this person with him if he could. Grabbing the revolver beneath him he wrenched his body and leveled the barrel with the man's stomach, pulling the trigger sharply. As he spat out blood, he issued a hoarse reply.
See you there...
