She went through the portal. She appearded on the other end of the portal on the outside of one of the fortress cities. She quickly moved upto the outer wall, avoiding all attention as she moved. Right as she made it to the wall as melted into the darkness and reappeared on top of the wall. She ducked and looked around.

Cyrus held his stance, watching for on opening. Unlike his beloved Cyurs preferred a more direct approach in battle rather than playing defensively. He knew Vain had more power than him, but he had far more control over his Chi and his Chakra, as well as the agility and mental discipline to bypass Vain's superior strength "COME!" He rushed forward, aiming a punch at Vain's head, preparing to feint the blow and strike a low blow once Vain had succumb to the trick

Vain: So it begins...
::As he came at me, I got one of his legs off balance with a sweep kick and followe with an uppercut::
Vain: Nice try, but lets see if you can handle this.
::I ran in a circle around him for a moment, then quickly snapped back and went for a windmil kick::

Cyrus caught the uppercut with his his hands and did a quick backslide to give himself some room. He then leaned back a bit a bit as Vain did a 360 around him "GOTCHA!" He ducked just as Vain brought down the Windmill Kick, and grabbed his leg just in time, then swung him around and threw him off toward the mountain. He hopped back, preparing for Vain's counter

::I did a quick spin around adn caught my balance. I regained my composure and switched my Dragon style to Hapkido and slowly walked towards him::
Vain: Not bad. It seems at this point you serve a chalange, but as the Red Moon grows brighter, I grow stronger.
::I charged in with a double chop to the side of his head, and folowed it with a sweeping chop to the oppisite side::

Cyrus was caught off-guard by Vain's comment, and suddenly he felt the blow to his head. He quickly did a backward somersault in the air to gain some ground, then wiped the puce blood from the side of his face. "Hehe, you are good, but in the end, my love for Tallie will prove to be stronger than your arrogant selfishness!" He rushed Vain and did a quick cross-swipe with his arm, aiming to trip Vain and falter his balance

::He managed to sweep me, but I did a quick change up to Capeira style and break danced kicked him in the face::
Vain: I have studied many fighting styles over the years, but only now do I have the power to use them.

Travis stood and leveled Jiba in front of Scott. THe man in front of him was dressed in all black. Scott smiled and motioned for two demons to attack. Travis ducked the firsty blow and jabbed towards the feet of the first aggressor. The blow tiped it slightly off balance. THe terren didn't stop his movement then. He continued in a crouched spin. His leg stuck out to the side as Jiba slammed into the abdomen of the second. His leg hit the first attacker's legs and it hit the ground. Travis chanted two words and Jiba's tips burned with dark flames. He tapped each creature once and they imediatly combusted. He turned and faced Scott once more, who grinned with bared fangs.

Koori found what she was looking for, the energy signiture of the Haut palace. She melded into the darkness and reappeared behind a guard house outside the palace. Suddenly Koori felt something deep in her gut.
Damn, bad place... They've noticed me...
She quickly and silently moved out of view of the guards by moving behind the guard house and unleashed a small mechanized grappling hook. It lacthed onto the roof of the guard house and it pulled her up. She climbed up onto the roof as he guards aproached. They looked around for a few minutes and as the returned to their post. She silently jumped down and threw a throwing knife into each of their spinal columns, killing both instantly.
Ok... Now just to hide the bodies...
she moved the bodies one at up to the guard house. He opened the door and looked in stealthely, but not enough to see a guard standing behind the door. She dragged the bodies inand as she turned to leave the second timethe guard hit her in the stomache with the but of his sword, knocking her unconsious.

As Megami sat in her Chamber pondering the possible reasons behind Vain's cruel actions, she heard a knock on her door "Enter" she turned as the door opened, and saw one of the guards holding a youn g woman who was unconscious and bound by the arms and feet
"This little sneak was snooping around the palace! We have been informed that she is one fo those who are assisting auro, as she was seem with them"
Megami forwned a bit but changed her expression into a slight smirk "Take her to the one of the guest chambers, unties her, and see she is treated with utmost respect. But do not allow her to leave the room. You are dismissed" The guard bowed nervously, andslightly confused, then proceeded to do as she asked. So, it seems they are really going to fight....in that case, it would be better in the long run to get them to join us, and fight for our cause.....and then, maybe my Dear Brother woudl join as well......it would pain me to have to kill him, but Auro must be punished for stealing the light from Parleur, and they need our steady rule to shape them up

Koori came too in the guest room. She had been completely disarmed. She placed her her hand gently on her stomache.
"What the hell happened...? Where the hell am I?"
She looked down at her wrists and saw the rope marks. She began to blush and started to worry.
"Oh god... They tied me up! Oh man... they could have had thir way with me! They're pigs!"
She stood up and her legs wernt wobbly and she didnt feel like she had been violated.
"Or maybe they didnt..."
She walked up to the door an tried opening it but it was locked from the outside.
"Ok... So there isnt many ways to escape. I guess I can sit and wait. This room is prety nice."

Cyrus was hit by the kick and was sent flying a good twenty feet, hitting a tree. He regained his posture as he reached the ground and looked fiercely at Vain, wiping the blood from his face "Power is not everything, and neither is knowledge, as without a purpose one loses focus and becomes distracted. Do you not see the hopeless folly of your arrogant selfishness?" He readied his pose, and focused his chi It looks like I have no choice.....it is time for an all-out no-mercy assault......otherwise I will surely lose He concentrated as his chi spread through hsi body into his arms and legs and then to his hands and feet. "Now it is time....you shall see the power my love for Tallie possesses!" He rushed Vain, hitting him sqaure in the jaw and sending him flying before he could react. He rushed Vain again, slamming him aganst the side of a large rock by his stomach. "My Tallie is a better man than you could ever hope to be! And because of that, you will always be the weak one!" He kicked Vain hard in the side, breaking the rock with the force and sending Vain flying once again

::i flew into another rock, but this time, I shifted my self around and stood on the rock, in a horizontal way::
Vain: No more fooling around. The Red moon is at its peek, and so is my darkness.
::I could no longer hide my aura. A huge veil of darkness covered a 23 foot radius. I got off the rock and walked towards Cyrus::
Vain: Don't worry, I wont finish you off right away, I want you to suffer a bit.
::I lunged at him and gave him a heymaker, right across his his temple. I followed it up with a hook kick to his chin and elbowed him in the diafram. Then I roundhoused kicked him and sent him flying into a spiked rock with yet another heymaker, right shoulder first::
