Given that the mazoku are really just Astral energy, with no true bodies, you should be able to take any form you want, maxoku, dragon, human, elf, werebering, random blob, whatever, as long as your inner nature doesn't change. I mean, Demon Dragon Gaav, what did he look like? I'll just bet it was dragonish... mrgreen

If memory serves, Gaav was a three-headed red dragon in his "true" form.

Sounds about right, Midori-chan, but he was still a mazoku for all that. So I'm guessing Seiphira here can take a dragon form too, when the mood strikes her, but still be Mazoku inside. Worth a try. mrgreen
Heck, it might even entice a few real dragons out of hiding so we can, like, beat on them or something... twisted

If you need further back up, just look at the crap Xellos pulled with his costumes in the canon Slayers. Heck, he even wasn't above dressing in drag or anything to do what he wanted to.
Furthermore, not all the Mazoku were ugly, so you don't have to be a scary avatar if you aren't in the mood, just whatever you feel like! ^_^
