Tech just took the cards from Byte's hands and then picked up the pile. He started to shuffle them. "We can just start a new game. It's all good." Byte nodded and smiled at his words. Once he finished shuffling, he dealt out hands to all three of them then spread the rest of the deck on the ground for the fishing pile.

About a half hour later the kids and Smash had finished the game and Byte had one. She was giggling and smiling and Tech looked discontented. "You cheated." Byte just laughed and shook her head no. "You say that whenever you lose."

*he chuckled as they fought over the game. he sniffed the air and senced that mari had left. he stood up and looked down at the kids*
i think i'm gonna go out for a bit. you guys be ok while i'm gone?

They watched as he stood up and nodded. "Alright." They both gathered the cards and got up. "We're going to move our game inside. See you later." At that, the both walked to the door of the house and went inside, closing it behind them.

Mari had gotten up early that movie and had gotten dressed. She felt like going to Verisana on her own and doing something for herself. She figured that Smash wouldn't like her not being there when he woke up, but she figured it was okay and that he would understand.

*he woke up and looked around a bit. she wasn't there with him. he wondered where she would be and got up. he got himself dressed then walked around the house. she wasn't around so he figured she would be back soon anyway. he went outside and decided to start his training until she got back*

Mari walked in through a portal about an hour later and ran her hand through her hair. She had gotten it cut and dyed a bit at the end. She looked and seen Smash training and smiled. She creeped up behind him and wrapped her arms around him and put her hands over his eyes. "Guess who."

She looked around him and grinned. "Maybe. Who knows?" She took a stray strand of her hair and pushed it behind her ear.

She laughed as he just stood there and checked her out. It made her happy to know that he thought she was beautiful. "I figured it would be a nice style for the wedding and I needed a change."
