"Diamon couldnt...could he? And using our fears? I doubt that as well. The only demon I know of that could use fears against us was Barnabus, and I sent him into pergatory...or so I thought. I supose he could have found away out...I mean, it is Barnabus."

Matt sat down after his breathless rant. "What are we going to do? We have a darklighter, transition demon, belthazor on stereroids, the nearly un-vanquishable demon of fear, and quite possibly another unstoppable demon after us. Will we EVER get a break?"

"Ok, first you dont know anything about the charmed ones, and now nothing about the demon of fear?! Well, I guess you didnt have anyone to teach you like me and Jen did...even if my teachers where demons...." He just kinda trailed off in the end.

"Anyways, the demon of fear is one of, if not the most powerful demon there is. He can't realy be vanquished, just stopped. See, he amplifies your fear to where they come to life and you literaly die of fright. The only way to defeat him is to conquer your fear, which isnt easy to do...at all."

"You're telling me." He walked over to his book to see if there was anything useful on Barnabus. "Nothing. I guess we'll just have to avoid the thing we're most afraid of, which should be pretty easy for me seeing as there arent any places around San Fransisco with alot of ice."

Matt smirked since Jen had missed what had just happened. "Well, I dont think that that'll be a huge problem, at least not on we cant control."

I've got the spell for Merik, but I think we should rewrite it to only call upon the powers of the charmed ones, instead of actualy having them there. This is our fight, and we cant depend on them. Jen, do you think you can conjure or summon, or whatever it is you do, those three vanquishing potions? We'll need them to face Merik."

He began flipping through the pages to find info on the transition demon. "Uh, oh. This isnt good. Only a specific atheme can vanquish him, and its magicaly protected from summoning spells and such."

Matt showed him the picture. "I dont know how we're going to find it. Its protected from all magical forces. It'd have to be sheer luck."

"Lets hope so. If not you might want to do some...freezing action to get it."

"That could be a problem..." He looked through the book, hoping to find some kind of answer. "Nothing!" He sat down and burried his head in his hands.

"Its hopeless." He slowly levitated his book to himself and began hoplessly flipping through the pages. "Whats ironic is that Brook seems to be the ringleader of all of this, and yet she may very well be the easiest to vanquish." What he hadn't taken into account, however was the fact that Brook was half witch. That combination created a very strong being.
