Returning Kairi's quizzical expression, also very much confused, Sora raised his shoulders in an almost helpless shrug--
--Until he saw - or rather, smelt - food. His stomach growling quite audibly, the boy flushed, mildly embarrassed. Whatever it was, could Saix wait? He hadn't eaten anything the entire day, and he sure as heck was hungry.
"Hey, Kairi," Sora pointed excitedly to where Ienzo was cooking, his questions with Saix already disappearing to the back of his mind. "You must be hungry, right? I'll get some food for us!"
Scampering over to where Ienzo was cooking, Sora picked up two plates and held them out with a goofy grin. "Can I have some spaghetti, please?"

Merlin's House
Cloud knew she hadn't been alright, but was obviously very startled when she started crying into his shirt. He felt so horrible for her...He hugged her as tight as he could. She was scared...they all were.
How was he supposed to make here feel better? Just..? Cloud was pretty confused. But he did know one thing...
"No one knows what will happen, but you aren't going to get hurt. No matter what it takes, I'm not going to let you get hurt. I'm not going to mess up again," Cloud assured her in a hushed, serious voice. He didn't know how much it would help, but she wouldn't get hurt.
He wouldn't let her.

Merlin's House
"Coming?"
Yuffie eyed her friend's hand nervously. If I go in there, I'll probably start crying...again...and then everyone will notice. She opened her mouth to decline, but a loud growl from her stomach interrupted. Then again....I haven't had anything to eat since Destiny Islands...and that was forever ago....Maybe a little dinner will help me control my emotions.... Her eyes moved up to her friend's face, and she smiled a little. "Yeah...I'm coming...do you mind if I sit by you?"
The rumbling in her stomach made her rush in before the older woman could answer. Picking up a plate, she got a mountain of spaghetti and gobbled it down faster than anyone could have thought possible. Rather than go up and get another plate, as she would in a far happier mood, she stayed at her seat, her eyes focused on a spot on the floor. Granted, the food was making her feel better, but the feeling of melancholy was still prevalent on her mind. I wonder what Mom would say if she was still here....

Aerith felt much better after what Cloud said, and after talking to Tifa over the internet.
Tifa's right...I have to be strong for him
Wiping her eyes of tears she smiled up at him, "You're right, Cloud! Nothing bad will happen! I'm sorry if I made you worry. We'll beat him again, just like last time!" she hoped the sudden return of optimisum didn't scare the blond.
Aerith decided to now focus her engery on her friend's lovelife problem and not on Sephiroth or his clones. "Hey, Yuffie....do you feel any better?" With the news of people from their homeworld coming, Yuffie could surely find someone for her.
Maybe Reno.
Yeah, those two would get along well.

As Aerith suddenly perked up, Cloud was startled. Had he really helped that much? Whatever happened, he felt better now that Aerith was back to normal.
...But there still was that wep spot on his shirt...
Ah, he could deal with that later.
Cloud went back to the spot on the wall he had been standing and leaned against it. There was some spaghetti. Oh, food. That didn't sound bad at all.
The blonde walked over to the table, pulling up a bowl. He started eating, glad to finally get some food. He hadn't even noticed he was hungry, with all the drama and all.

Merlin's House
Saïx refused to answer Kairi's question. Thinking fast, he answered the question with another one.
"How is your relationship with Sora?"
That should say something. If Sora wanted to have his a** saved she'd better have said they were together. He hated that Sora had asked her out and then suddenly went for Riku -- so Roxas says, as well as many things in the message boards.
It angered him! He wanted to hide his anger from Kairi and Tifa, but they knew him better than anyone else. They could catch the hints the animalistic berserker threw out, which did not help in the slightest. The last thing Saïx wanted was attention. And the attention was like rubbing a cat the wrong way.

Tifa stared, surprised at the speed at which Yuffie was scarfing down her food, and quite impressed that she didn't choke.
It had quickly faded, however, when Yuffie simply stared down at the floor once again, looking like her best friend just died - actually...she really did look like this when Aerith had died... - pushing away those thoughts, the older woman simply stood up and took the plate away from her.
She had taken a rather large helping, and Tifa didn't want her to stuff herself with food - or get indigestion.
With a soft sigh, she patted Yuffie's hand and gestured to a corner of the room, where there were a couple of available chairs. Set sufficiently away from everyone, Tifa caught Aerith's eye and tilted her head slightly in that direction.
"Come with me awhile, Yuffie. We need to talk."

Upper Walkway in the Borough
He grinned to himself. Sora and Kairi were just over that ridge. Just a few dozen yards and he'd be there. He was so close to home, in a way. Wow. He stood up, ignoring screaming muscles, and walked toward the edge of the walkway and looked over.
"Well. That's not... that long of a drop, I guess..." But as he approached the first stone block about a third of the way down, his knees gave out.
It may not have been that long a drop, but when you're falling from block to block, it sure seems a lot longer.
"Oh... ow." He gave a sharp gasp and groaned, practically melting into the pavement. "That. Really. Hurt. Maybe, just maybe, I shouldn't have been trying that. Wa-haw. Yow." He rolled over painfully until he was on his back, letting his arms and legs sprawl outwards.
"Owwch."
((He's such an IDIOT. Omg. XDDDDDD Poor guy though. :< ))

Demyx had followed Sora along quietly, something completely uncharacteristic of him, really. The musician just didn't feel like talking though. He couldn't shake that dark feeling that seemed to hang over him ever since meeting Sloth.
Sloth. His other half, his heartless.
Brows furrowed in a worried look. What if he was really like his heartless? After all, Pride had said that they were their "extremes". Had he been so cruel before he had lost his memories? Or maybe he had been worse. The thought was absolutely disturbing, so much so that he wanted to just curl up and cry. Not because he was weak (even though he knew he was), but more like because he was....
...afraid. No, terrified.
Sure, it sounded like a completely pointless thing to think, but he was suddenly very scared of not only Sloth but--- himself. After all, that was where One had come from. Shaking the thoughts away, Demyx looked up to see Merlin's house. The teen had stopped short of walking up the small steps, blue eyes staring blankly at the door. He reached a hand out, hesitating to turn the knob. A sound broke his hesitation and he turned, curious.
Riku?
The other boy was sprawled out not too far away, looking like he had just fallen. Ouch.
"Hey! You ok?" He asked, rushing over to lend Riku a hand up.
Ienzo had been very concentrated on getting dinner ready that he had barely noticed Sora standing there, two plates in hand. Oops, the boy had obviously asked for some, and here Ienzo was, staring off into the distance.
"Sure thing." He nodded, smiling slightly before scooping up the pasta and laying it on the proferred plates.
That done, the teen grabbed a plate for himself, intent on getting some before everyone else ate it all. Dark eyes inspected everyone that had come in thus far, intent on learning at least a little of how some of these people were. Ienzo wasn't one to talk that much, so he learned things by observing. After a moment, he had figured that there was quite a bit of drama going on. Aside from the huge problem at hand, of course. He bit back a sigh, immediately taking his attention away from the others, not wanting to seem nosy.
Though he really was. Awfully so.

PAVEMENTLOL. *cough* Borough, near Merlin's House
"Huh?" Riku opened his eyes blearily to see someone standing over him. Hmm. Cheerful blue eyes (though they didn't seem quite so cheerful at the moment...), bizarre-as-all-hell haircut. Huh, must be Demyx.
"Uh, thanks," Riku said, taking Demyx's hand and letting himself be lifted to his feet. "Wow. Yeah, I definitely don't recommend that," he said, pointing vaguely at the walkway from which he'd just pulled a spectacular faceplant and rubbing his other hand over his brow. "That was so not smart. SOOOO not smart." He shook his head once or twice, trying to clear the fog in his brain, but only really making it worse.
((Ugh. Short post. D: ...I think there's a dig in there about Demyx's hair. xD Not quite sure. x3))

Merlin's House
Seifer had been standing by the door for the past five minutes, waiting for the others to go in and prove to him that all was well. Sora and Kairi had already gone in, and so had Roxas and the blond haired girl whose name the teen always forgot. There had been others coming and going as well, which he watched like a hawk to see if they were the source of the fear that was threatening to paralyze him. So far, nothing too bad had happened. A blue-haired man had shown up and was beating on Sora, accompanied by a woman so well-endowed that the boy had a hard time keeping focus. There was a girl in shorts that was crying when she went in, a blond swordsman with a very pretty girlfriend, and various others whom he had not meant but had heard were in some sort of Organization.
They can't all be bad.....Maybe with all those people in the room, it'll be safer. Taking a minute to calm his nerves, he took a deep breath and dashed into the door. Before he could get two steps in, he was confronted with the delicious smell of pasta. This smells great....Must be dinnertime around here.... Grabbing a plate, while shoving past everyone who had been there first, he got a decent amount of food and took a seat by a wall so he could monitor the others.
Okay, maybe I was wrong....maybe I'm not in dange-..... The thought had come too soon. His fork fell out of his hands onto the ground when he noticed an older man brooding on the other side of the room. A feeling of icy-cold exploded from his gut as his heart pounded at nearly two hundred beats per minute. Who is this guy....and why do I think he's going to kill me? His eyes squinted to get a better look and he noticed something very peculiar.
What the hell?? His scar is almost the same as mine!!!

Merlin's House
The house was beginning to fill faster and faster. It was almost too crowded for Leon’s liking. He was able to find a comfortable side of the room where most people did not reside. There was still a little food left to spare, so Leon took a very small plate in order to ease his own growing hunger.
With the diminishing space came more noise. Most faces that came into the house he recognized. There was Sora and the rest… more of the once Organization members and…
Seifer?!
What was he doing here? And more so, what happened to him? He was younger than the last time Leon had seen him. Could something could have happened to him? Ultimecia? Whatever it was and for whatever reason he was here, it would all just have to wait. Now was not the time.
Leon’s voice grew louder in order to be heard over all the jumbled voices and conversations, “Is everybody here and have they eaten? I’d like to keep moving if we can!”

Merlin's House
Saïx was surprised to see Leon suddenly seeming like he was angry. Can Leon do angry? That thought went through his mind as he turned to the man. "What? What's gotten you into a rush? Some people just arrived and still need to eat." He told him, noting Sora, Kairi, Demyx and Seifer.
When Ienzo had made the last bits of their dinner, he was hit with the smell of cooked meat. Meat? Where? After he had spoken to Leon, he had already eatten the pasta made previously and went for seconds -- as well as the meat!
He sat back with two plates this time -- One for the second helping of Spaghetti and the new one for the cooked meat, cooked enough so that it was juicy and seemed raw, yet cooked to be eatten. Saïx, like Xaldin and many of the others who had just eatten their first meal in days, was in heaven!
He glanced at Tifa and Yuffie, curious to why Yuffie looked like she were to cry at any second. Thinking back, he remembered around the time he had fallen for the gorgeous woman behind the ninja, that Yuffie had something for Leon. Poor girl... He thought sadly to himself.
He quickly took his attention away from the two, minding his own business as he quickly ate his fill. Saïx was eager to leave Radiant Garden as well as Leon was, but he needed food. ((Saïx must have a blackhole for a stomach XDD Two plates of pasta and a plate of (i'm guessing steak biggrin ) Reminds me of myself when I went to an all you can eat resturant XDDD))

Kairi was a bit confused when Saix didn't anwser her question, but chose to anwser his anway, "Oh well...I don't know if we're offically 'together' yet" the redhead raised in hands in little finger quotations. "He did ask me to take a walk along the beach with him when we got back to the islands" She lowered her voice on that part, Sora might be embrassed if he found out she was telling others about it. He did seem shy when she asked her online.
"Hey, Saix. Why the sudden concern about me and Sora?" Kairi wasn't stupid. Something was up, that's why Saix didn't anwser her question. "Does...does he like something else?" the redhead nervously fiddled with the bow on the bag at her side. It was starting to seem like he did....that must have been why Saix was so mad and why he advoided her question.
Kairi pulled up a chair and sat down. She had some thinking to do.
Aerith decided to let Tifa help Yuffie for the moment. She decided to get herself some food before Leon threw them out the door. For some odd reason he suddenly was angry and wanted to leave in a hurry. It happened around the time the kid with the club walked it.
Does Leon know that boy....?
Oh well, it wasn't her buisness. She knew Leon for a while, but there was much about his past that she had no idea about. Like that he had a girlfriend....Poor Yuffie. There was so much drama going on right now, her life was like a bad soap opera.

Merlin's
Saïx sighed. He didn't want to upset kairi, but he didn't want to make ber oblivious, neither. "Promise me you will not think differently of Sora, or to get angry with him." Saïx whispered, closing his amber eyes as he thought for a moment.
Finally answering, he looked Kairi in the eyes. "There is rumor going around that Sora is having an affair with Riku. But it is not positive. So don't do anything yet...I just want you to know so that if it is in fact true, then it won't hurt you too badly in the end." He whispered, his voice easily masked by the chatter of the others around him. Kairi could only hear him, and he wanted it to stay like that.
"Just please promise me you will not show that I have told you this." He told her, trying to make a point that she showed that she knows nothing of the issue. It would avoid many arguements...
