A shovel came up from the ground. Thenb a head, covered in dirt, came up,m then a body. It was Akira, finally back from his trip to china. He looked around, to the left: trees. right: trees. But, in front of him was a house, a house he had never seen before. He stealthily walked around the wallls to a window. Hew looked in and saw, to his suprise, A CHILD! "who the fu..." Akira, NO PROFAINITY AROUND CHILDREN! his consiounce screamed at him. He sat for a moment, looking at the kid, trying to see if it looked like anyone he remembered from the clan.

s**t! Akira ducked down on the wall, just below the window. am i really that obvious? akira thought to himself. He went to another window, still saw the infant, but no one else. DAMMIT, what is this place?

"Dinner..." *Kas then said as she pondered the thought.* "Well, I think we may have fresh vegetables and some beef. Hope you two like stew" biggrin *she said with a small smile as she dissapeared into the kitchen and began to cut up the meat and vegetables. Then she heated up a large stockpot while seasoning the beef and then putting it in the pot and waiting for it to cook. She then took out the beef before it was cooked thorougly and added the carrots and celery to the mixture. Then she put the beef back in and added some stock, along with just a taste of wine. She let the concoction cook for a little bit and then adressed her guests* "It should be done soon...I'm going to check up on Zelos" *Kas then made her way upstiars and saw Aes with Zelos and smiled, kneeling down and saying* "You having fun with your daddy Zelos?" *she noticed he was crying so she took him off of Aes for a little bit and gave him a hug, gently rubbing his back* "Aww...shh..."

Akira saw a women walk into the room, he dropped down under the window again. "daddy.. there wasn't a.." akira looked back through the window for a second or two. He saw a baby, a women, and a dresser that blocked off his sight from half of the room. "damn piece of furniture.."

*She then walked to the window, since something outside seemed to fighten Zelos. She saw a strange man outside curing about some kind of furnature and then she looked somewhat confused. She lowered the shades and then walked away from the window, saying* "Gah..the stew!"

Hey. Daoin called to Fae I can feel some oaf lurking around the place. I'd take care of him but- we know the drill there. Think there's anything you could do?he broadcasting it softly Partly for the kid and partly because he knew Aes wasn't a fan of this.

Please. He won't do anything "It's ok" Fae laughed and joined her "You should have seen me when I first started to cook. A mess. I couldn't even touch a stew. Good thing the guys are cooks, eh?" She looked at the baby and her eyes softened "So that's the little druid? Aw, can I hold him?"

*Kas gave a soft laugh and said* "Yes, Aes usually handles the meals when he can. I'm still learning I'm afraid" sweatdrop *Kas would then look down to Zelos and give a small smile. He seemed to be a lot calmer now that she'd moved away from that one room* "Certainly" *she said as she gently and carefully handed Zelos to Fae. *

"When we brought him over to our isles, he tried to learn how to be an elve best he can. And of course all the men cook." The onle reason Fae did now was for Daoin. She took the baby softly and looked down at him "He's so beautiful. Makes me want one." she joked.

"Master Daoin," Aes said, sitting down on a chair near the couch "What have the healers said of your condition? Will there ever be another candidate to posses? What of travel?"

*Kas smiled brightly* "We've had a lot of donations from our clan...they've given us a surplus of toys and supplies."
*She said, but couldn't have the luxury of sitting down at the moment. She walked back into the kitchen and shut off the stew, then began pouring the steamy contents into bowls on the kitchen table. She returned a moment later and said* "ok, dinner's ready. If you want, you can help me strap him into his high chair. He tends to be fussy while eating"

They say that the body I have right now is enough miracle. Maybe in a few years it will be strong enough to start collecting energy again. And travel is restricted to the elven islands. The youkai or mortals may try to excercise me. But I can stand right now. He rose and walked over to the dinner table. "I heard the word stew.."

"Ok...." she lowered Zelos into the chair, and stared at it. "Bit of an odd chair, isn't it? I like it though, seems like it was made for a baby." Fae stood up and walked to the edge of the kitchen. She saw Daoin rising up, but said anyways: "Daoin, Aes, over here! Food and all that."

Aes knew the only reason Mr. Daoin had any ki was due to the fact that he was almost constantly resting. "You could always eat more..." but he heard that dinner was ready. Relived to be out of the conversation, he got up from the chair and took a seat at the table.
