[I'm outside your office, but OK XD]
Blinking at suddenly seeing the Kage the man hurriedly gave a short bow.
"Um.." he said. "Well, I'm a messenger from Takigakure no sato. Our leader, Amadeus-sama is interested in setting up a strategic alliance with you... and he wants to know when you are free, so he can come over, or if you don't feel too good with him in your village, a place where you can meet, Tsuchikage-sama."
Straightening up he waited for her reply.

((XP Oopsies. Ah well, sorry about that. Obviously I'm too tired to comprehend something so simple...))
Kinami sighed, but nodded. "So long as he doesn't bring any weapons, and if he brings an entourage it isn't something resembling a strike force or something that would be considered a threat to my people, I will meet him here." She was practically glued to her desk nowadays- she didn't think she'd be able to leave without Etna's mistress at their doorsteps.

Roy, who was rather worse for wear after being run raggid by those annoying brats that now welled with him, began to walk back up to the tower, Etna resting on his ehad. He moved closer to see someone talking to Kinami....what the duce was this about. He began to move up and soon blinked a bit nonchelantly and just stood there listening.

Suddenly abandoning his diplomatic demeanour which was horrible anyway the messenger's face lit up in a grin and he even clapped his hands a little.
"That's so great! Amadeus-sama will be so happy!... Um uh.. I mean, thank you Tsuchikage-sama. I will relay this back to Amadeus-sama and I presume that he will come shortly. He really wants this alliance, so thank you again."
With another respectful bow the messenger backed out of the office and almost into Roy, but checked himself just in time. With an apologetic grin he just walked out. He still had things to see in Iwagakure so it would be some time before Amadeus got the message, but he didn't think that Amadeus would mind as long as the gap wasn't too big.

Kinami returned the infectious grin. "I'm sure he will. Thank you for your message." She watched him leave calmly, letting her head fall back as soon as he was out of the office. She closed her eyes with a heavy sigh, knowing that if she didn't get up soon she would just fall back asleep. She ought to eat. She ought to return to her apartment...but she was just too damned comfortable.

Roy looked to the guy. Weird...he'd never seen anyone of htat rank break formalities with Kinami unles she threatened them, besides his mom and Mat and Tai but theyw ere special cases. He moved over to her and soon kissed her cheek and looked to her desk to be nosy, "What are you doing?"

Kinami sighed, letting her head fall on the desk with a resounding thud. "Well, I was sleeping. Looks like I still have work, though." She shifted until her chin was against the desk, and then glared at the scroll sitting there. It was taunting her, telling her that she was going to stay up whether she damn well pleased or not and fit genin into teams no ifs, ands, or buts.

Roy noticed where her eyes went and soon moved over to pick up the scroll and looked it over. It was a list of all the refugees that had come into the village. Many of them were without teams or jobs now that the whole place was in a hot mess.
He cringed as the list didn't seem to stop. But he sighed a bit and picked up the books he had been working in earlier...after whiping off the drool from her falling asleep on it. He began to jot down some notes and started to dothe work for her.

Kinami glowered at Roy. "I can do that, you know. I'm not a little girl that needs babysitting wherever I happen to be." Her arms felt like lead, however, and she couldn't seem to lift them. Her eyes were closing, and it was a struggle to keep them open. She told herself she ought to go sleep, but her will deemed her fit enough to remain awake.

Roy looked at her witha completly flat and blank look. It was one of those, 'You need to stop lieing' kind of looks. He simply turned back to what he was doing and began something...strange. He felt her body giving way...swaying a bit from sleep. She was hiding it quite well ot be sure but since he was in her lap now, having just moved into it, he felt the slight movements. He knew she was only a few moments away from sleep. So, he began to sing.
It was a lulliby and not a bad one. He had a decent enough voice to lull her to sleep if she was close enough to it.

Kinami heard the song, and snapped up. She took a moment to appreciate the medley, then hit Roy over the head. "Thanks, but I do have a few other things besides that I could be doing, you know." She crossed her arms, icy stare fixed primly onto her face.

Rubbing his head, he looked to her with an equally cold glare, "Dammit! Why'd you hit me? I'm only trying to help YOU out! Isn't that was boyfriends do?" He growled a bit as he looked to her. He then turned back around and tossed the scroll away. It wasn't damaged but there was a mess of papers now. He stood up and walked over to the door in huff and went to the base of the tower to stir and rant to himself.

Kinami glowered, fairly growling. Now she had more to do! She stood, storming over to the sheets. She grumbled under her breath, not loud enough for anyone to make out anything except for herself. She slowly started to organize the papers. It was annoying, it was cruel, it was downright unfair. It crossed her mind that she ought to get revenge on him, but that thought was beaten down and shoved into a dark trunk and thrown into a burning bit of never-ending darkness.

Now that the guard was distracted from the kage's office Kou saw this as a chance to infiltrate the tower. He casted the hidden camouflage upon himself and then silently walked up the wall of the tower. And when he was at the very top of the building he quietly moved toward an entrance.

Once Kou found a side entrance he softly pressed his ear against the door and began to listen for the sound of people. He waited for a moment to be sure there was no one on the other side. It would seemed very odd if a door just happened to open by itself. Even though he was invisible to the naked eye it would still give away his position.
