triple3 oy, I played flute for six years, then my band director got the great idea of switching me to trombone, talk about opposites, I still dont know how to read base clef, though I have only been playing for about a month... stressed sweatdrop I totally help you only i think I live no where near you.

familyguyfan218 I play trombone and baritone, well since we had a shortage my freshman year which was last year i had to switch from alto clarinet to baritone for marching but for concert my dad bought me a value trombone it was awesome!!! but now i have to play regular trombone. Know whats funny though I one of the played only for a year this like July 18 but im one of the best in the section and we have awesome players so yea!! But woot we have a saying in our section We'll break your reeds We'll make you cry We'll kick your a** Cause we're LOW BRASS ! well i think that is how it goes......close enough you are so totally right!!! (not sure if I posted on this thread with other s/n) LOW BRASS ROX!!!!!!!!! I can play trombone and baritone!!!!!!! I'm playing trombone for band currently

hippogriff_08 Kolulu_Zatchbell csm78221 I play baritone, and I'm gonna start playing trombone cause I'm in jazz band. I'm first chair (mostly cause everyone else sucks rofl ) O.O I play trombone and I'm really good at it. we didn't have enough people interested jazz band tho. i play trombone too and we didn't have enough interest in jazz band either...it sucked because i was the only trombone who wanted to do it stressed Same here. (btw I'm Kolulu_Zatchbell, my other account was hacked into)

Mello-phony Bari's got moved to Sousa, we won't march bari anymore... I play French Horn in concert band, and Baritone in Marching. It's fun! I've been playing for about 4 months and I'm first Chair Baritone! @Familyguyfan... LOVE IT! We have a joke in our band. "Why do they let woodwinds into marching band?" "It's an equal opportunity group, anyone can join!" Yet the handbook says it doesn't discriminate against race, gender, ect, but never instrument.... I'm the only girl in the Low Low brass, so section sleepovers are really fun! I bring brownies! Yay! But I get touched a bit... section sleepovers huh? Maybeh we should try that at my school. I know I'd have fun since I'm the only girl in my section. Beat on the guys all night long!(not that way you crazy sickos!)

But then again it's my opinion. if it wasnt for my messed up back i would be playing that wonderful instrument but bc of some accidents i had when i was younger i play baritone and i love it just as much of a sousa twisted
