Faryn gazed out the window silently as the carriage lurched with life and set off back to his Kingdom. Jillian's comment settled those black tones back on the diplomat's arm. "So you did have someone look at it," he stated. Without any announcement, the slightly younger boy shifted from his laid-back position and grabbed the other's hand. He noted how warm it felt even through his gloves and pushed up the sleeve to see the newly-healed flesh. "So tell me, you let anyone but myself help you?" he questioned, his tone cold and harsh.

Jillian looked up, an expression of surprise on his face. "No... but... how could we have gotten back to the palace in time? If I had waited so long, my arm may have stayed useless and the frostbite might have even spread," he said truthfully. So then... did that mean that Faryn actually cared? Jillian felt confused and it showed in his eyes as they roamed over Faryn's face, searching for an answer.

Alti sighed and took a few paces foreward, unconsciously striding into the carriage road. The place was so blanketted with snow, he couldn't tell what was what here.

"Well if you don't close the door soon I just might," the young apprentice retorted with a soft frown, blue eyes darkening just slightly. Haar rolled his bright eyes, climbing into the carriage quickly, closing the door behind him.

"You might want to fall asleep now, this is going to be a long ride home," Haar murmured with a sheepish grin. After a few minutes of not moving, the dark haired commander frowned to himself. Upon the request of the boy, he opened the door and jumped down onto the snow covered road to see what the hold up was.

Red eyes scanned the white area, focusing on a figure in the middle of the road that led out of the palace. Cupping a hand around his mouth, Haar called out at the figure. "Oi! You're in the middle of the road!" He barked out, pulling up the hood attached to his cloak with his free hand.

Faryn's eyes only glanced upward once with a look of disdain before he looked back down at the arm, letting his gloved fingers run over the other's bare forearm. "So you don't trust me. Might I point out that I asked long beforehand if you would've liked to return early and see a real doctor?"

He looked up at the sound of a voice, but couldn't hear what the figure said - he was too far away and the wind was blowing the wrong way. "What?" he asked, not quite shouting. He hated raising his voice.

He sighed. "I'm sorry, Faryn, I am... But it's healed... Where and how - does that make a difference?" He looked sad - and tired. Why did the prince have to make everything so difficult?

Haar sighed heavily, noting the figure wasn't moving at all, shoving his way past the various carriages and other means of transportation of other people before he reached the thin figure. Nn, it was- "You're in the middle of the road," he stated simply, eyes piercing as he pointed towards the line of carriages waiting to leave the palace by way of the very road the two were now standing in the middle of.

"I am...?" He had become faintly light headed in the cold and was having trouble proccessing events. He could barely see - the snow had started again, despite his tries to stop it. He pursed his lips, momentarilly annoyed at the snow's persistence. "Who're you?" he grumbled, for the moment forgetting where he was.

Faryn abruptly dropped the hand and resituated himself to sit in his seat by the window. "Fine, Jillian. I don't care anymore," he informed him coldly. Obviously, he did to some extent. Why else would he be angry and shutting the other out more than usual? The carriage rocked as it crossed the terrain and soon Faryn noted that the snow had stopped completely outside of the window.

Haar was almost taken aback by the teen's question. It wasn't the fact that he was fairly well known around the area, but...but he had just basically told him to get the hell out of the road and he had not budged.

"I'm... I'm commander Haar of the fire nation- Are you okay?" He asked with a rather confused expression, red eyes darkening slightly as he dragged the teen by his wrist over to the side as to let other carriages pass.

Jillian bit his lip. He'd done it now... He knew Faryn was angry at him - the air was thick with it. Hesitantly, he moved towards the other, reaching a hand out to ently move the prince's face towards him so he could see his eyes. He swallowed, not sure why he was doing this, and lean leaned forward to kiss Faryn softly on the lips.

He felt the other's hand close arond his wrist and instinctively tried to slip out of his grasp as he was pulled off the road. He finally succeeded as they left the road and he frowned slightly, staring down at his wrist. And it was cold... too cold... why wasn't he wearing his coat? He shivered and looked at the man, hardly registering his question. "Hmm?" he asked, looking distracted, his lips turning a delicate blue.

Haar frowned, unlatching his cloak quickly and draped it around the teen in one fluid motion. Although that left him only in his dark dress shirt and pants he'd be fine for the moment. Gloved fingers tapping against the handle of his sword, the young man pushed the teen towards the ice palace with a steady hand against his back. Opening the large doors with light strain, the dark haired commander frowned, asking again in a calm voice. "Are you okay?"

He nodded dumbly - but who was this man? It must be Thorrald, yes... his man serent. A strange, cracked smile found its way onto his lips as he was prodded forward. But his eyes had left the stairs and stumbled suddenly on a bit of slick ice that must have formed due to some liquid being left there and freezing. He slipped and instinctively reached out for the bulk of the other man, almost taking him down with him.
((He drank too much, too. xD))

Faryn was refusing to even look at Jillian and thus he did not see the other's significant change in movement. It was only when he suddenly felt his chin being turned not of his own accord that he became a bit alarmed. His completely confused black pools found Jillian's darkened ones. He'd rarely been so close to the other so as to see the underlying blue and green within those eyes. What was the other doing?! He was... coming closer.. and closer. Faryn had never kissed another person before. He didn't know what it really consisted of. He'd seen his mother kiss his father's cheek before or a drunken couple have a passionate moment in a corner, but never bothered to watch the seemingly gross act of affection. Before he knew it, Jillian's warm lips were on his own and the youth seemed to freeze, his eyes wide open and staring wildly at Jillian. This was serious violation of personal space was the only thing his mind seemed to grasp. Then he became horrified at what they were doing... they were... kissing. Horrified, he arched his neck back to recoil from the gesture rather than push Jillian away. "What... what in the hell are you doing?" he asked, black eyes still staring at the other... almost frightened.
