Man, every time I try to contact my gaurdian I fall asleep. Maybe I should try an incantation; that'll keep me awake 'cause I'd be saying something.

Is it possible to, y'know, not have a spirit gaurdian? You have one hun trust me, Maybe the reason for you falling asleep is the only way you will see her or him.

well heres what I know, mine were trying to communicate with me and I found telepathy was the only way they could do it when you being yourself and everything, however they can come into your dreams, and yes meditation.
I also know that they come to you when you need them the most, and if you refuse there help then your refusing help in all its forms and you cannot ask them for help ever again.
mine is a baby elf named Liar, a shaman looking guy named Sid, I have a gargoyl named Diemetry, I have a neko giardian named Diana, and two angels named Cathrine and Mathew actually three angels but I dont know the third I guess.

Aikosola Kit and I know that there are tons of Spirit Guardian topics in the guild. We want to make one where everyone can just chat, learn, etc.
We don't want to discourage people from making other threads, but if you have a question, we hope we can answer it - We like to think we know some stuff about Guardians. n.n;------------------------------------------------

General Guardian Info:
-Definition: A Spirit Guardian is a being who is with always with you, usually since birth (or creation, depends on if you believe in reincarnation or another some such). Their soul purpose is to keep you company, comfort you, and protect you from harm if they can. And there's always the perk of talking out loud to 'nobody', and freaking the hell out of people. :D
-Doubt: Doubt is often prey on Spirit Guardians; since it's in your mind, it's easy to think you're making it up, and sometimes you are. But what you can do is learn to recognize your thoughts, and thoughts or feelings that seem alien, and differentiate between them. When you learn to do this, your guide and you will grow closer and closer. S/he already loves you; after all, s/he's been taking care of you since babyhood. Have faith.
Contacting Spirit Guides
-'Voice Method': This is the method that I found my own Spirit Guide on. If you've always had a little voice in your head, whether it speak in words or intentions and feelings, then this is probably how you'll find your spirit guide.
If you succeed by this method, it probably means you're a calm, centered sort of person - the voice in your head unbidden means that you don't need to meditate to sense psychically. You just get it. Now, because this voice has probably been in your head for quite a while, it'll probably be harder to figure out whose thoughts are whose. (Don't give up, though!)
It takes a few days to easily and readily contact your spirit guide -- that's with any method. You just have to practice. Practice casting out your thoughts, widening your psychic awareness to sense anything.
I find this method a ton of fun -- after all, you can't exactly meditate deeply in school!
-'Sanctuary Method': This is a popular method, as far as I can tell. I know quite a few people who have found their own guardians using this method.
Depending on your general psychic awareness, you meditate fairly deeply and place yourself in a place where you feel completely comfortable. (In a forest, near a river, etc) Often, it's a place in nature. If you wish, you can perceive yourself in your "true form" - usually applies to otherkin - to make it easier. Then, you simply call out to your guides, and ask to meet them. This may take a few tries, but try to send out a calm aura, letting your guides know that you'll meet them, whatever and whoever they are. :3
These are all the methods I know of - if you know another, please tell me! I'll put it up here on the first post. I am one to tread on dangerous ground when I know what there is to gain. I fused with my gaurdian, Vargus (In latin Wolfish, or like a wolf) I have seen manifestations of it physically yet I seem to be the only one, most psychics call me a lier or they just do not see it.

sorry for not posting in a while, unlike most, i'm already back in school, so i've had a lot of work and Aiko/Rufu's been busy with an online writing course.
Sashninja: hopefully Rufu will get on soon and add your guide to her post..
Zatsushi: you might not be ready to meet your guardian, or the sleeping could be a trial you must overcome, or like Sashninja said, it could be the way you're meant to meet them.
Enigma`: *nods* that's what we mean by the mind-to-mind speech, although we're not sure if it's exactly the same as telepathy or not. thank you for giving us your thoughts on the matter ^^ we're always trying to figure out from everyone's experiences, what are the general factors in dealing with spirit guides/guardians.
oh and if you want your guides/guardians on the front page, please use the form Aiko/Rufu provided.
Anarchistbleeding: (please don't quote the first posts, that just takes up space. if you want to address something about the first post, please just quote that one part) i've heard of guardians merging with things because of rare and rather bad events, but i've not really heard of a permanent merging between the guide and the 'charge' (as my guide lovingly calls us 9_9 ). however, mergings are not unheard of, but not usually permanent and will only do so because of certain causes.

Likes: Not sure, but he seems (seemed) more active when he was explaining things about the world to me.

I'm not sure if Teledel is even there anymore, something (I'm still not entirely sure what) made him leave, and it wasn't me. I still feel part of him, but it's like he isn't there anymore. I really miss him... emo
