You've never seen me try to draw men I want to give them a chest meaning they turn into girls with a package. I can try I most likely will use referances to make myself happier, but first I have several other projects to finish.

Yeah starting with a reference is a good idea. I myself don't normally use them, unless I'm trying to draw a costume or someting.

I mostly do concept art for my fan characters, my current projects are a logo for my theatre performance group, a Bleach character with her Soul Ability working, a fandom keyblade for my character in our August performance, and finishing other project that I haven't gotten finished. So far the Logo just needs to be scanned onto my computer, the Bleach character just needs to be colored and scanned, the Keyblade is still in it's brain-storming section. Everything else is slowly working into place.
So this probably won't get off the ground until I've finished the Keyblade, as I need it finished so that our probs masters can get to working on building it.

One of the projects are finished now. Now it's just the other stuff that I need to do. Free time is what I do between one day and the next.

What helps me, is that I draw what I'm familiar with, and well I'm familiar with the female body because I am a female.

StateAlchemist Natsu What helps me, is that I draw what I'm familiar with, and well I'm familiar with the female body because I am a female. Well, yes. that is true. It goes the same for me, but because I make drawing poeple a habit I've gotten way better at drawing guys. When I first started drawing them though, they really did look a lot like girls. the key is ask guys to look at said picture and ask them what they think makes them look girly. It helped me a lot. I should post some of those pictures on my dA account. It's been so long since I uploaded a sketch with people in it... [ sweatdrop ]

I might just use pictures from the Ichidan Cast, I can get some really good shots with my camera and I don't have to worry about them having to stay put for long periods of time. I have some good shot for our KH performance, as well as our Bleach that's first appearance is going to be at Anime Oasis so watch for my sig updates, or most likely a profile update.

Well here is an update on my list of things to do.
Ichidan Logo - Finished, Scanned, and sent to be chosen.
Bleach Character - just needs to color her skin and I'm finished
Keyblade - need to start brain storming some more.
I'm using what I have to get this done but I'm going to have an interesting time with the Bleach Character, cause I don't have my entire collection of colored Pencils to work with.

I don't even bother coloring my pictures anymore. I usually end p ruining them in some fashion

I do bother because I have too many pieces of artwork that are just the outlines that it makes me furious with myself because I like colors.
