Rosa chuckled as Ferra mentioned how her name does resemble a ferret; it’s a mistake you would think was on purpose if no one tells you it’s a mistake, Rosa then looked worried again "my… my power? I- I don’t know that much… all I know about it is that somehow I can create an explosive charge and… and I hurt people" Rosa looked away Hugging her notepad in frustration; if only she knew how to control it she wouldn’t be so afraid of it.
She then quickly turned from frustration to shyness as the boy got closer, her face turned red and she hidden her face behind her notepad "h-hi… I'm Rosa" She mumbled as she started writing.

XXXHours turned to days, days turned to weeks, yet nothing had changed. Others have woken up, others have become spry and were ready to take on the world. Whatever happened that day was beginning to wear off, for some faster than others. The poor girl could feel her stomach churn at very exclamation of excitement, the cries of every heartwarming reunion. How disgusting it felt to despise those who were reunited, how many bitter tears it brought to the girl who could only take those away. How could someone live feeling like this? Experiencing a sense of resentment towards those who waited just like she had, only to have their calls answered. It was such a wretched feeling, the sense of loathing and envy that resonated deep in her chest as others shed tears of joy. It seemed like every day someone else was waking up, that someone's family was made whole again. It was taunting her, making her delve deeper in a mindset that she was alone, that she was left behind. Since the day he fell, Calista hadn't attended a single class. She was afraid to. Not just afraid to go to class alone, but afraid to leave his side. She knew that he wouldn't let her wake up alone, and he was socially competent. He wouldn't let her wake up alone, knowing that he was the very first thing she wanted to see when she woke up. ... She wanted to be the same for him, no matter how long it took. Days, weeks, months, she would wait as long as it was necessary. An expression of affection that wasn't met by those they associated with.

As the days turned to weeks, the members of their team stopped visiting them. First, it was the bunny crusader who disappeared without a word, only promising that she'd be back to keep them company after class. She didn't. Nox had been more attentive to her visits. Unlike Calista, she wouldn't allow herself to miss out on classes, but she'd come back around and share everything she... they.. had missed. It was because of Nox that Calista wasn't falling behind in their studies. Because unlike Eli, Calista didn't have the excuse of being in a coma. Even if she refused to attend classes without him, she had to try her best... For his sake. So with each class missed, Nox gave her a rundown of the lesson. Even though it was second hand, Calista tried her best to retain all the information. Piles of papers and notes were accumulating around them, maybe of them withered and worn as if aged like a fine wine. Except in the case of papers and books, they'd become brittle and fall to specs in the wind. So long as Nox was willing to middle man for them, Calista retained some semblance of confidence in working for both of them. That, however, quickly dwindled the day that Nox shared two key pieces of information. One, that she was selected to aid with a large scale mission. Team DECO as a whole would've been selected to get involved, but that was the issue... As a whole. With Eli out of commission and their crusader off doing who knew what, they really didn't have much of a team to work with. If the trio wasn't careful, they were looking at disbandment to try anew. If that was the case, Nox would've surely been the first selected to go. ... Perhaps that's why she was chosen for the mission because the academy recognized that very fact. Even if Calista had been requested to go, she couldn't. She wouldn't. Not with Eli still in the state he was in. She had to persevere by his side, no matter how long it took. ... That was until a very strange man asked her a question.

'What if he doesn't wake up? What will you do then?" It was a question that made the world stop around her. It very well silenced the tender beat within her chest, snatching the very air from her lungs. It was a question that threatened to suffocate the fragile girl, a question that she tried with every fiber of her being to avoid crossing her mind. That was because... Well, she didn't know. Or rather, she was certain that she couldn't do anything if he didn't wake up. He was the most important person in her life, something that was far more precious than life itself to her. The very concept of moving on without him, it was blasphemous. Eli... Elias... He was the very air in her lungs, the rhythm that beat against her heart. It was his love that not only put the spring in her step but gave the world around her the color that she cherished. To think of a life without her precious spider, it was cold and bitter. It was as lonely sole standing tree, able to see the world but never experience what it has to offer. It was a life that either in her most vivid of wonderous dreams or most terrifying of nightmares, she just couldn't fully comprehend. It was from that very core feeling that once again brought a series of bitter emotions forth towards everyone else that had been reunited. It was a pang of jealously, the thought she was being done wrong, all of which were accompanied by an opposing thought... What if others felt the exact same that she had? Just as Eli had been the most precious thing, life itself, then surely each and every person sleeping was like that for someone else. It was that thought in particular that made her feel so disgusting. Knowing that her own bitter neglect came at the cost of wishing wrong on someone else. .. She couldn't do that, no matter how badly she wanted Eli to wake up.

This man that questioned her was an odd man. His mannerisms were poised and proper, his words dancing around the point as if to coax a response out of her. Even in the depths of uncertainty, this odd man could get her to talk, even if in the most reluctant of fashions. A man with blue hair, wearing an odd polished metal on the left side of his face. He made a point to visit her periodically, claiming that he worked with the academy to ensure the mental health of their students. He had apparently been making his rounds to those impacted by the number of students falling unconscious, ensuring their mental stability and getting them the help they needed. Calista, unfortunately, had likely been visited by him the most in recent week. With so many students waking up, it made her the focus of his workings. .. Each time he managed to coax a little more out of her. About her, about Eli. How she felt, what she wanted, and what she needed. He took his time, never pushing too hard, but each and every time he managed to get a key piece of information. It was today, though, that things were a little different. Rather than asking about her, about Eli, he instead asked a question that was very reminiscent of their first encounter. "What do you think Elias would want during this? What would he want you to do?' And that was what led her to here and now.

It was there the frail, sandy-locked girl sat perched upon a dusty slab of stone in silence. Golden rays of sunlight licked her skin, basking both her and her stone throne in a much-needed warmth. It was akin to the warmth of another, though the stone was coarse and uncomfortable. Befitting the girl who had put him there, to begin with. In this instance, Calista wasn't only wearing her dark blue skinsuit. No, as her first real outing into the world beyond the infirmary walls, she dressed for the part. To match the sunny weather, she wore a dress. To oppose that very sun, it was adorned with layers of black for a skirt matched with a floral pattern against a beige top. For once, she left her arms exposed to the elements. It felt odd, yet comforting to feel the rays of light kiss her skin with a foreign warmth. Instead of sleeves, she bore her scars. Pale skin finely detailed with patches from rotted scars and burns, tarnishing any sense of purity. So long as the eyes of others weren't on her, she was okay. That man, Ezekial, gave her an uncomfortable push forward. But now, she felt like she could handle it. No one at Beacon really knew her anyways, so it was unlikely that some sandstone haired girl would draw much attention. At least, that's what she was hoping.

So it was there she would sit for several moments to bask in the sunlight. Spending so long in the infirmary, she could feel the warm rays threatening to burn such tender skin. To think such a comforting warmth was ready to eat her right up, just like her own semblance. It was odd that they held so many similarities. But, that wasn't the reason she was out here. 'Is.. this really what he'd want me to do..? Eli..?" Yes, she was getting fresh air. She kept telling herself it was because she was ushered by a teacher to step out for her sake. In reality, that was far from it. She could hear him now, subtly guilt-tripping her while poking fun about how she was going to waste away there waiting for him. He'd say it with a smile, he'd laugh about it and coax her into laughing along with him, but there would be more to it. It would hurt him to know that she stopped everything for him. Perhaps he'd think the gesture was sweet, that she was too good for him, but she also knew how guilty it would make him feel. Knowing that each and every waking moment she that there by his side. All the silent pleas for him to wake up, all the tears shed for his sake in her own dismay. To know just how much turmoil she experienced waiting each and every moment to feel his fingers move, to see those precious electric orbs she's grown to love so. ... If he knew just how much she waited, how much she hated herself, and how much she was sacrificing just to make sure he wasn't alone, she knew it'd eat him up inside. He'd assure her it was okay, but that she shouldn't have done it, while silently he'd vow to never let that happen again. But she'd do it again and again if it meant making sure he was comfortable in his slumber. After all, when did the two ever sleep alone? It just didn't feel right to leave him there, alone.

It was only this once that she'd step out. For her sake, and for the sake of being able to assure him that she wasn't right there the entire time. Even if it was a lie, there was a little bit of truth now that she was out here. Perhaps it was doing her some good to step away, to not stare down at his still eyelids in personal turmoil knowing that she had done it to him. While she found endless comfort in his presence, it was also his very existence that was bringing her so much pain. Not so much him, but the state of everything. The uncertainty of when he'd wake up, knowing that she was the reason he was there, and hearing everyone else wake and stir around them. It was eating her alive, far more than her decay ever could have. Knowing that she couldn't touch him without hurting him, being forced to watch his stirless figure until she forced herself to sleep just so she could hold his hand or caress his cheek. The thought acting as a reminder, bringing gentle pools of tears to her sandy gaze. The curse was no different than before, but the weight of knowing that only she could control what happened came down heavy on her. Even now, sitting atop this rock, she knew that her time was limited.

Minutes ticked past and her dress was already beginning to crumble, she shape of her rump and thighs engraving themselves in stone. Rather than focusing on that, though, she instead kept her attention on the flowers at her feet. Sadly, the grass beneath her toes had withered away at this point, even the dirt eroding beneath her soles. The flowers, however, kept just out of reach of her semblance. Orbs of polished sandstone sparkling through the wetness of tears admired them from a safe distance. One flower, in particular, had stood out among all others, and that was a pair of stargazer lilies. It was perhaps one of the most beautiful flowers she had set her eyes upon, the only one surpassing it being the rose Eli made for her. The sight of them was able to bring the faintest semblance of a smile to her cheeks, even if it had to shine beneath the wetness of tears against her cheeks. Carefully, the girl slipped both of her gloves on so that she could individually plug each lily from the base. The first she had brought close to her nose, sniffing the pollen softly. It made her feel warm and fuzzy inside, perhaps the first time since Eli took his fall. "I think he would like these..." She whispered softly, raising a gloved hand to wipe the wet streak from her cheek. Then carefully she would place the first of the lilies by her side against the stone. Gazing upon the other, she paused. 'I.. wonder if I can..' A thought echoed in her mind, images of their very first class together springing to mind. The one and only instance in her life before just a couple weeks ago where her curse just... Lifted. No trigger, no cause. Out of nowhere, it ceased, which led to what was certainly the most magical and unforgettable moment in her life. ... The first time she felt his touch unhindered, the moment they could share their warmth and affection in the most splendid way imaginable. That was one of few memories that kept her going, especially in his absence. The idea that one day, it will get better. One day, it will be possible. To live life together, normally, without having to worry any longer. She just.. Had to try. Not just for her sake, but his as well. If she could just control it, overcome it... Then this would never happen again. Her chest felt tight again, with a bitter mix of anxiety from the fear of failure, but a determination to overcome. It was such a complex medley, one that she had difficulty comprehending. Whatever it was, though, she'd ride it out in this very moment. Slipping the glove from her fingers she'd reach towards the other stargazing lily. Before her fingertips would touch the stem, she'd take a slow and deep breath. 'Come on, Cali.. Do it.. For him..' She'd whisper softly, closing her sandy lashes as her fingers brushed against the stem. At first, nothing. She pinched the stem tightly and pulled it free, but nothing happened. "Maybe if I can... He'll wake up.." She tried, almost pleaded to whatever gave her this curse. As if the longer she held her focus, the longer she could push off the inevitable. ... Unfortunately, that's all it was. Pushing off the inevitable. Upon opening her eyes, she could feel the stem begin to wilt beneath her fingertips. What semblance of a smile she had earlier had fallen into a heartbreaking frown as she watched the flower begin to wither and wilt. A vibrant green stem had turned brown, the very life of the flower appeared to be sucked away as it dried and cracked from her touch. Petals had begun to fall free, others crumbled to dust as the brittle stem fell to pieces between her fingertips. The sight made her lip quiver, bringing a new pool of tears to crowd her sandstone eyes. She couldn't take it. Her chest tightened again, feeling the fragility of her heartbreaking under the pressure. She'd choke on her breath, the pools bursting as tears streamed down her cheeks. She'd pull her knees tight to her chest against the rock, wrapping her arms tightly around as she buried her face. "I'm.. I'm sorry... Eli..." She cried softly, her quiet words muffled with her face buried against her knees. Even without being by his side, this day was faced like any other. Grief, self-blame, pleading, then finally breaking down into tears before repeating the cycle. As she shifted on the stone, the stargazer she had plucked would fall gently into the grass, as if forgotten.

Kirien bowed her head afterwards once she was introduced, keeping to her manners that Geremald taught her growing up. She shot Nikolas a small glare as her face ran red before she watched Periwinkle out of the corner of her eye fly up towards the machine. She followed her and giggled as the Machine turned it's head as well, but not as fast. "Well, still.... don't go announcing ones place of belonging just out of the blue, some people have some harsh feelings to Atlas and their militaristic views." She commented on Nikolas before nodding her head. "Pleased to make your acquaintance Ser Nikolas. She could hear Periwinkle's questions and giggled before she spoke. "It moves based on my little suit." She commented before pulling the blouse around her chest down a bit so Periwinkle could see the skin-tight yet slightly high-tech and glowing undershirt she was wearing. Her hands weren't just covered in gloves while Periwinkle could see the Machine moving it's arms towards its chest. But it didn't have the bust size of Kirien, nor any jutting part of metal to grab so it had it's hands up like dukes. "Some connectors on the back of my neck help to tell the suit where to turn it's head but other than that, it will copy any of my movements on the torso based on how I move!" She responded with glee.

Ferra Grey

Ferra rolled onto her stomach as he walked closer, though, Rosa drew her attention again when she brought up how her power hurt people.. ”Ferra's only hurts Ferra. And only when she uses it too much. But, Rosa shouldn't worry! She is here, like us and here we can learn to control our powers better! Some just get really cool ones that are super easy to use, like being super strong. But, Ferra has seen many with powers tha must be really hard to use. And some probably can't not use them. Like, they're always on and they can't stop them.” She would have said more, though, one might question how given she was already talking a ile a minute. However, the boy introduced himself and Ferra skittered around him on all fours, tail twitching excitedly behind her as she circled him playfully. ”Ozzy, Oz, Ozzy, Oz, Ozzy, Oz....Hmm.. Can Ferra call him Ozzy? Ozzy feels shorter and cuter to say! " Ferra saw that Rosa was now hiding behind her notebook and darted over to her, still walking around on all fours. She plopped down near her, her tail getting, perhaps dangerously close if the girl's semblance activated on touch, though, never actually brushing her.”What's Rosa Doin? We gotta new friend here and Rosa...Is Rosa nervous with people?"

Then she noticed that Nikk was apologizing for earlier. "It's fine! We had a learning experience! I need to get better at explaining what I feel." She would then start to scratch her arm. Normally she let her emotions drip out in the red of her blood. It wasn't the time tot cut. Plus, she had nothing to do it with. She left all the sharp things at home. A voice in the back of her head said that there were sharp things all around, she just had to find them. She'd shake the thoughts from her head, trying to clear them.

Oh! The robot! It could get the bad thoughts out. "So the suit connects to your body movements via a suit. Like the movies!" She had seen a video of some people in black suits with white balls on them, that was used to track movement. "but that has a flaw...it can only do what you can do...Where you could make the joint go all the way around, making it so it could bed at an 80% angle with falling backwards." She would then take a breathe again. "It also means that if you wanted to add things like wings, you couldn't control it unless you made the robot smart. No offense, but in terms of intelligence, the robot itself sounds dumb." She hoped she said everything all right. She didn't know all the terms, but her books that she loved at home showed these kinds of things.

Osmund watches and listens to the two as they discuss semblances. "Mine is thankfully pretty much just a helping hand." He gestures to the empty space beside him and a pair of semi-transparent dark blue hands materialize, flaking together as if burning away but in reverse. As Ferra goes through her reaction to his name, his face contorts into a funny expression and then he cracks a smile, laughing a bit. The blue hands minicking a shrug. "I think Ozzy could handle that." Referring to himself in the third person like Ferra.

Rosa chuckled a bit as Osmund started talking like Ferra, but then noticed how close Ferra gotten, she tried to stay calm and putted down her notepad and pen, but she was obviously nervous "I… I am not good with people" Rosa said with a shaky voice and was still blushing a lot, she was very tempted to just grab her notepad back and distract her from everything around her but she knew she couldn’t wait for her sister forever and had to make some friends on her own. "a-as for semblance I don’t even know how to activate it… though you'll notice A pink ball floating above my hand when it's activated" Rosa said while showing her left arm being completely normal.

Ferra Grey

Ferra froze as she saw Osmund's semblance at work. She had yet to see a physical manifestation of someone's semblance close up and scampered over to them, looking a little closer”Aww...Ferra can't make things with hers! It's so cool! She can just dodge really good if something she sees comes at her. She's really good at escaping too! Like, she's really hard to hold on to and if she can fit her head in it, she can squeeze through any gap!” She paid no attention to the fact he had begun to mimic how she spoke. To her, it was just normal. even though she was aware very few people did it. When Rosa said she wasn't good with people and that she wasn't sure how to use her semblance though, Ferra scampered back over to her.”Well, that's why some people come here right? To learn how to use their semblances? Ferra's just, kinda works on its own. Momma said Ferra's eyes glow when it activates. It's a little weird and Ferra can't keep using it because it gets really confusing and causes headaches. Like, everything starts moving really slow for Ferra...but not for others, but, Ferra can hear normally so, she sees and hears things at different speeds. But, when everything slows down, Ferra also moves faster. But, Rosa is nervous with people? Is it because she's afraid she might hurt them by accident? Ferra would be worried too, but, like Ferra said, Rosa will learn while she's heare how to use it better and then she won't have to worry about hurting people!" Ferra smiled at Rosa and her tail swayed to and fro with the occasional hyper twitch to one side of the other.

Rena had taken a nap and woken up without a buzz. Already, she could feel a headache starting to build up and took a hit on her pen while the coast was clear. Unfortunately, the batter chose to die mid-drag and she would have to charge it for a little bit to get it back to a point she could take a full drag. It was a pretty old pen, so, the battery was slow to charge. With a sigh, she stepped back outside, hoping to find a place she could roll a joint and kill the headache before it started to really cause her issues. Unfortunately for her, she noticed a few teachers roaming around and one was even near her usual spot. And she didn't trust running into one of the girls' rooms to smoke. She'd definitely be caught. If she had a bong, she could hit that up in a cubicle and possibly get away with it. But when her team was disbanded, she had to stash them with Ren as she'd lost any way to hide them. And he and his team were away on a mission so, she couldn't get in there and get them. She shoved her gloved hands into her pockets and started walking down the path, hoping to find another spot. But, new arrivals had shown up apparently, which would explain staff and the courtyard was packed. She casually leapt up a couple lower structures and made her way up onto the roof of one of the smaller buildings, sitting on the edge, her feet dangling as she looked over the courtyard. She might be able to find a spot up here, but, a student on the roof was something that might draw attention and she didn't need to do something that got her chased down by staff every time she got up here. So, she'd just have to bide her time and hope she got an opportunity soon.

The floating hands followed his motions, pulling the scimitar from his left sheath as he used his own hands to draw the other on the right. Moving to create a comfortable distance between himself and the girls. He was going to make a show of his semblance, he needed to practice anyways. The blades moved together as if a mirror stood in the air between him and the hands.

It was clear that the weapons were designed as a pair, similar but different, a decorative calligraphy scrawled on each at the start of the scimitars held the weapons' names. Proxima and Ignis. After a few moments of waving the swords in synchronized motion the blades met in a sharp metallic clang. "You seem more shy than necessary Rosa, most of us are fairly new here, if you don't try and make friends some weird extrovert might adopt you before have much of a say." Osmund grins, a genuine smile that reaches his eyes. "You might want to have a say in the friends you make rather than just any random people." The curved blades meet a few more times before Osmund inspects them with care, his phantom appendages rotating tbem slowly in the air.

The professor would approach a young man who was listening and looking at out area, after a mishap, he must've let out his thoughts which definitely reached Miss Schuer's ears. She would offer a quick quip before turning her attention back to us. She'd mention about wanting to see our samples, which made Yuki gulp audibly, followed by the reading of the files, which would be rather hard for a blind person, but then followed up by an exposition of her acute aura sensing abilities. Confused but knowing that Miss Schuer's just wanting to know our capabilities, Yuki would ask, "Yuki asks, what kind of samples are we talking about... here"? Another gulp, but it's not like she afraid, just uncertain as to what Miss Schuer's standards are.

Nikolas Chernyy╫

“Beware of those that are slow to anger,
for when it is long coming it is the stronger,
for when it comes, and the longer kept,
Abused patience turns to fury”

Nikolas gave a polite bow to both of his compatriots acknowledging both of their comments regarding his previous actions. it was good to hear that all was forgiven, despite not really needing forgiveness in the first place. "Understood" he said simply

Listening to Kirien explain her combat robot to Periwinkle, Nikolas could not help but be intrigued and impressed. " I find the applications of such a design to be rather interesting. does it copy your movements exactly or is there some kind of translation that happens? Is this a system of your own design? Regardless it is most impressive. I remember seeing something like that in a movie once with Hughe Jakeman." the young Huntsman in training remarked to the Robot puppeteer.

"I have to admit my kit is a bit more standard but none the less it is effective. though I probably have to go to the range or training rooms sometime to zero my rifle again." turning to look back towards the main building where the cafeteria was. Nikolas remarked to Periwinkle " Do you think I should go looking for Sváfnir? maybe he took a wrong turn on the way out from the mess hall." his fingers tapped their usual tattoo out on the stock of Grendel. looking around, Nicolas could not help but notice that there were a lot of people and unconsciously he stood up straighter. Crowds had never been his absolute favorite, to many variables, but he was determined to put his best foot forward. He was a Huntsman (to be) of Atlas and he would be the bulwark upon which the Grimm would break.

Tsume Aya
Aya's ear twitched as she heard Yuki gulping, she tilted her head and looked at Yuki "don’t worry, I'm sure it won't be anything that will hurt you... or who knows, maybe it is letting Felicia crawl all over you~" Aya smirked with an evil face and then laughed, knowing the two are probably afraid of snakes, she looked at Kail "what kind of sample will you need from us? We might be able to give you one right now" Aya asked, still smiling from her little tease.

Rosa had a small smile in her face as Ferra cheered her up a bit "I wouldn’t really say I worry about hurting people, it's more of the fact that I don’t know how to control it, my sister's friend went and touched the ball for some reason and then went flying" she giggled "I got so scared I rushed over and helped him heal up, I ended up cooking for him the whole week after and not because he asked for it, but I felt so bad that I just had to do it" she then turned to Osmund "I… I might be very shy, a-and I do try to work on it! but d-don’t I already have two friends with me here?" Rosa lowered her head a little, then placed her pen back in its special place on the notepad.

❝I'm Cute. Deal with It!❞

Helping himself up off the ground because it seemed he wasn't going to get any help, he would place Sonic on top of his trunk. Getting up, he would dust himself off and shake his head. "You know. Teasing is cute, but it is not fair when someone is truly terrified of something." He replied looking a Aya. "I mean it wouldn't be the same if you feared something and was teased about it. You'd probably be pouting right now." He said with a teasing smile of his own.

As for what Professor Kail was asking for, he think it was time he schooled the girls a little bit. Closing his eyes, he would focus until his body was outlined with the beautiful colors of the rainbow. "That is what she means by an sample. She wants to see how strong your aura is." He said simply before his disappeared. "Your aura is a manifestation of your inner soul being projected outward. In time, with training and mediation, it can protect you and heal you, but you have to keep in mind that is not unbreakable. Once it is broken and you continue to fight, you put yourself at risk for serious injury or even death. Sorry Professor Kail if I stole part of your lecture, but it is a lesson I had to learn early." Kamyu said. He knew he aura still needed a lot of work. He was by no means stronger than any of them, but he was wiser than most.
