You're not alone in that feeling. If you'd done that 3 years ago, you would have had a crowd of about 100 people at any given arcade.
I think the biggest arcade crowd I ever had was this one time I B'd Be In My Paradise full-on freestyle x1. There was a crowd of about 25 people jammed in the little corner with the DDR machine. Typically, the crowds for stuff like that consist of about a third of the visiting population of the arcade. That was a particularly busy day there. razz
People like watching DDR. I just wish they'd play it more so the arcades would stop getting rid of their machines.

Finally got first in a DDR tourney, although it was just a small con tourney. There was a slightly better overall turnout this year than last year. It would have been a lot better, I think, if the tourney had been Sunday afternoon instead of Saturday night.

The first time I got AA
It was on Pink Rose in Standard mode, three months straight of playing (from the first time I got it playing every night) I finally got a AA! I was so excited!
I still try to get a AAA, but I always get 1 GREAT which bumps me down to AA.

My little moment wasn't that special, but it was when I got an AA on Daikenkai Heavy.

I got my first extra stage a few weeks ago, and it made all the songs I desperetly wanted available in the shop!

One time I was in a mall, and we almost always go directly to the arcade because I always drive whoever's there to insantity until they go to the arcade lol Usually everybody that goes to the DDR machine usually is terrible, once I watched someone who looked 20 or 19 that could barely play Butterfly on Basic, and I got a serious crowd in and out of the glass window, watching me, and I got a full combo on Difficult blaugh It was funny, because the person that played before me looked embarrased whee

i went with some friends to the arcades, been quite a while...
one of them started about a year ago, i gave him some very usefull tips on getting better.
When he played, he was able to do 12ft on the itg.. and he said it was all thanks to my advices.
