Giselle nodded as he instructed them to return of there was trouble. "We'll be heading back now... Also keep an eye out for Marq if he was sent someplace else."
As Ree flew threw the air, he could see it was mostly people heading to the estate now to help with injured from what looked like scuffles in the street all the way leading to the mansion. Just within the gates, there was gathering of humans and magis. Closer to the gates were the injured being helped. In the center courtyard, there was scorch marks and ashes, masks laying in the aftermath of what looked like an intense fight. Surrounding the mansion were people walking, searching for something. A group was moving around to the front with the body of Hope in one of their arms. Marq. Still bloodied himself, barely able to walk as he shouted at humans to leave him alone as he carried her.
There were several people still inside, also searching. As well as in the shrine, searching below the earth as they moved.
Ree could see the sun peaking over the edge of the horizon, lighting the sky into a bright blue as the purple faded from the atmosphere ahead.
Things were quiet now. The aftermath of what been an ignited revolution that had burned through the estate while he slept.

Ree took a careful breath as he looked toward the sky and back winged feeling a surge of hope seeing the flickers of blue in the sky followed with a sick feeling of dread as echos of a memory that the spell was tied to the bloodline. Looking down he could easily see Marq carrying a body, the hair color was wrong and he felt a flicker of pain for him that he quickly quelled. Turning away he started searching for a familiar soul as the cat stared around looking for signs of Vina or Ashral, especially Ashral. So many injured..Lena must have been prepared.. Darn it.

From the sky, there were a lot of spirits roaming the grounds, humans and magis alike. He couldn't see Ashral or Vina"s souls anywhere. Leaving a possibility open to the shrine, a cluster of souls that seemed to mesh together from that height, and for a second, he thought maybe he could see more souls even further below that,,but they flickered dimly and faded quickly, barely a wink like a very distant star.

Ree circle in the air silently as his heartbeat speed up. The cat growled softly as he back winged and focused on the shrine. Rina was a vampire ad she was held there would Lena has sent her there? likely that was their only prison/dungeon. Phasing he dove again, aiming directly at the shrine, seeing people inside and hoping if Ashral was there they hadn't gone after her...like...he did Rina in fear. Phasing directly down he back winged and pulled up at the the base of the stairs as she cat flare out a sickly soul light for illumination. He didn't solidify just yet as he tried to see what was happening down here.

Within the dark cavern of the underground shrine, there were several humans with torches who were looking over area of the bodies, and feeling against walls of the open area further ahead. Vina was in the open area, using one hand as a torch as her other hand inspected the slab of rock that Ree had found Rika on before. No one was there and looking around he couldn't see Ashral's soul, until he looked downward. Flickering souls one those that had likely passed far too long again, but one was brighter than the others, though it flickered and faded in and out, at times being like the others, but then a small flicker would shine brighter, stronger, then fade again.
"There has to be an opening." Vina was commanding the others that were looking.
"We've searched everywhere, there's no way downward."
"..s**t.." she cursed as she moved her hands to the floor, now searching the floor for a possible pressure point.

"You're alive" Ree stated with a flicker of relief as he warily move past the humans and solidified in the open area near Vina with a hint of confusion until the cat looked down. "Ashral....I am guessing Lena is still alive?" he said with tired alarm as he backed up with a grimace but stared at the ground. He couldn't see anything but the cat could even if it kept looking away toward a flicker of light that seem to fade in and out then back, distracting. "Cat, focus" he muttered echoing words so long ago as the cat ruffled its pale grey wings still emitting a sickly light as it jumped and tried to catch the flicking her as Ree phased preparing to try and head down.

Vina looked up with a gasp as Ree spoke and appeared. "Ree.. You're okay.." she spoke with relief as she came to a stand. "Yeah.. I'm alive.."
She looked to the cat for a moment as it looked downward then back to Ree. "Lena is dead. I saw to it myself. Ashral, we've been trying to find her, or a body.. Anything. So far nothing." As Ree called for the cat to focus, she gave a frown. "This is where they did rituals for what they did to Ashral... And where they would imprison us when we were in trouble. I never was sent here, but I figure maybe I'd find her here. I can see spirits below us with the crystal, but we can't figure how to get down there." She looked away, not looking very hopeful but took a breath and looked Ree in the eyes. "If she's anywhere in this estate, she's down there... alive or dead."

There was a flicker of gratitude on his face as she spoke that she was here trying to find Ashral instead of being elsewhere...especially now. "Good... " he muttered quietly. "She is below us..I can see her spirit..." he said with a sigh as he looked back at her tiredly then looked away, hunting with his gaze for anything that might have been missed before anxiety made him look back down as the cat moved around the room. "Spirit!" he said harshly as the the cat back winged and moved to him reluctantly, it wasn't...hopeful. He was..reluctant to head down, he could see her but why didn't any of those dim spirits move up? "I will phase down and see how things are, see where the entrance might be and fly back up" he said solemnly as the cat landed on his shoulder and he tried to phase down.

Vina nodded as he confirmed she was down there, that he's find out how to get down there and fly back up. "Okay."
As Ree phased down into the next level, he could almost immediately see the metal stairs that led upwards, from what he could tell, from right underneath the stone slab which was apparently hollow from within.
Looking around, it looked more like a laboratory, something more modern than the rest of the island. It looked like it hadn't been in use in years. The source of the souls were seemingly confined to a large glass and metal box that almost resembled a small room. Inside, it had filled with water and Ashral was attempting to kick against the glass from within, anything just to break it. He could feel like her soul was stifled, possibly masked by the energy of the box. She was desperately trying to summon her sword, but it would not appear.
She glanced up within her struggle, almost insinctively trying to call out to him, air escaping her mouth before she covered it with her hand. A pain look on her face as she put her hands against the glass and looked strained, just trying to hold her breath as long as she could.
She closed her eyes, looking like she might be crying if it weren't for the water that held her prisoner. She opened her eyes, struggling with everything as she was slowly losing consciousness. She mouthed something to him, her hand sliding from the glass as she had to let out what breath she had left, her body falling limp.midnightspirit Please roll a D20 in your response.

Ree stared and dropped the rest of the way to the ground rushing to the edge of the box and Ashral in a panic. "Ashral!" he said alarmed looking for anything that could likely open the box, there had to be. After a second he just backed up wide-eyed. "UNDER THE STONE SLAB!!!" he yelled not even sure if they could hear him from here and the cat couldn't talk. Pulling at his energy he started to slam at the glass box with telekinesis. Aiming in the middle of the glass over and over trying to break it.

Vina heard him scream out, panic in his voice as she scrambled to the stone slab, trying to find a way to get under it. "Help me push it!" she called out to a few of the men there. They set up to the narrow side of it and began to push it slowly off the opening that was the stairs.
The force against the glass weakened the glass considerably, splintering and cracking outward as it began to spring small leaks. After quote a number of trues, it finally shatter and the water came rushing out as well as her body, unmoving, not breathing. Her soul became much brighter the moment the glass had been been broken, trapped souls flooding out and up towards the others. And although Ashral's soul was no longer concealed, it was beginning to fade fast.midnightspirit Please roll a D20 in your response.

Ree backed up away from the water on instinct as he lifted his wings then rush forward her unable to see the other souls. The cat crouched down against his shoulder and blinked a couple of times staring at the stream of souls rushing up toward the building above with concern as his fur puffed up on ends. Falling to his knees in the water, Ree turned Ashral around feeling a wave of sleepiness the moment he did so. Pushing it away as much as he could he automatically started doing CPR and turning her head to the side.

The stone slab was finally pushed out of the way as Vina immediately bounded down the stairs,,not even taking in the surrounding as she spotted Ree and ran to him, slide to her knees. She wanted to ask what happened but now wasn't the time, he was trying to resuscitate her and with all the water, it was likely she had been possibly drowned. She clutched onto the crystal, trying to watch her soul, or what was left as it dimmed to the point of being barely visible. Ashral's body still lifeless and unresponding.midnightspirit Please roll a D20 in your response.

Ree kept on doing CPR, falling into the rhythm even as fear edge it's way past his cold visage. Vina's footsteps and splashing barely registered as he kept his whole focus on Ashral, barely glancing up when she reached them. The cat jumped down from his shoulder and landed on Ashral's chest and braced itself as if trying to hold her down but its ears were laid back and its eyes wide.

Vina could only watch hopelessly as Ree continued CPR in his desperate attempts to bring back Ashral who had still yet to respond. Vina reached out to grab Ashral's wrist, taking pulse. She was barely there, her heart so slow. A pained face, she wanted this to work, but it didn't look like it. Her soul was barely a glimmer now as Vina stared down at her.
