 What a silly thought that had been. Perhaps a very large one, then? More mass, a heavier chunk of ice, might somehow... have more gravity... towards the target... (he was almost desperate now, wasn't he?)14/15

Again, nothing. Aah, well. For his last drop, he decided to move as quickly as possible -- because at this point, why not? He wouldn't attempt to aim, he would hardly approach the log in any way that would allow him to know what was happening beyond his dropping an icicle onto snow~
But that did just about as much good as anyone could expect. He was left empty-hoofed after another long day with a cold tongue. He wasn't sure if he would return, though something still stirred in his chest wanting to win, and his eyes lingered on the target as he trudged away...15/15

Land Shark could not let herself be bested by a stupid rigged icicle game. And so she stomped back the next day, smashed some icicles off the cave and determinedly pushed her way to the front of the line. She carefully lined up her shot and let gravity do the work. It fell straight, for once, and landed... Right outside the mark... She gritted her teeth, threw back her head and yelled "AHHH!" before dashing back for another try. Why did she torture herself like this? Because fish DO NOT LOSE, DAMNIT.
