>... yep. Creep central.< The Cubone tapped his bone on the ground, staring up at the three with a equivocating gaze. Between the sinistery-smiled specter from the great beyond, the babbling bruiser from the bog, and the overgrown dill weed with no manners, it was clear that he couldn't let them any farther. Not only were just weird, but they were going to disturb anyone napping in the cave. And as the Guardian of Naps, he could not allow this to happen. He shuffled ahead of Argyle, outspeeding the boy and forming a small barricade with his body and the bone. >Not going anywhere, bucko.<

Argyle would raise a brow would the Cubone insisted on further blocking his path. Realistically he could just walk over the creature, it was much small than himself; especially laying down. The problem there was the risk of the little ankle-biter doing just that. A tad unwillingly the boy would release his grip on his Gastly, he'd just have to deal with the heat for a time. "Sybelle, you're up" He said, gesturing to the Cubone "And you..." He stated, looking the Pokemon in the eye "Lets hope you fair better than the Nosepass on my way into this awful place"
Completely oblivious to Argyle's reluctance to let her go for things related to temperature, or the disapproving glare of the once again sidelined Jekyll, Sybelle would float forward. Smilde broad, the Gastly would giggle as she announced ">It's SHOW TIME! Mwehehehe~!<"
Starter Pokemon: Croagunk [M] Name & Level: Jekyll, Lv 5 [Temperament] Naughty Bio:The story of how Argyle met Jekyll is a bit of an odd one. After purchasing a bulk shipment of skin rejuvenating mud from Sinnoh's Great Marsh (Guarnteed to take twenty years off your appearance!), Mistress Rosevelt had set aside some time for a fully immersive experience with the product, during which she received quite the surprise. It would seem the mud had come with stowaway in the form of an egg. Unfortunately it was about this same time the egg decided to hatch, splattering the aristocratic woman with muck and eggshell. After a shriek and shrill cry for the nearest Argyle to attend her, Verde arrived and was immediately ordered to dispose of the creature, although not before cleaning up the mess it had created. Whispering a snide remark just below his breath, both Mistress and Argyle were in for a surprise when the newly born Croagunk began to snicker devilishly. It seemed the Poison-type had heard the boy, and shared his sense of humor. Amused by this fact the young Butler then went about the task of convincing Mistress Rosevelt that the Croagunk would be quite useful in his regular duties, allowing him to make the manor to "shine as radiantly as you do Mistress Rosevelt". Little more in the way of convincing was required on the boy's part, and so he obtained his first and for the time being only Pokemon.
Since then Jekyll has proven a good match for Argyle, frequently snickering at the boy's comments be they made aloud, or simply implied. Unlike Argyle however Jekyll does nothing to hide his wicked nature, frequently mocking others quite openly and then laughing about it. Though cruel he is not crude, and more than willingly to amuse himself by catching the enemy off guard. (9 - 7) + (12 - 7) = 2 + 5 = 7 DMG to Wooper.
Kiani didn't understand the heatmor's words, but Korbin sure did. "> There's something wrong with you......really. <" he replied, attempting to dance out of the way of the heatmor's attack. However, he caught the blow on the side of his body and was sent skidding across the ground. "Wooper, respond with Acid Spray." Kiani commanded, watching as Korbin opened his mouth and followed her command.
((Erm, you already rolled for the Wooper's defense on the first post so now it's just damage calculations for to edit in and also edit your post into having your Wooper attack, not defend all in the post before this.))

>Nosepass?< the Cubone muttered in confusion. This cave had been built by the Nosepass and the Probopass. They were a respectable family of Pokemon, albeit a bloated and occasionally bizarre one. This human was an odd one, no doubt... and it didn't seem like the Gastly was better. He backed away cautious from the ghost, retreating to the safety of the rocks. Perhaps he could confuse and distract the little freakshow in this defensive move.

Already feeling the sweat building on his back, Argyle rolled his shoulders awkwardly. He wanted this over as soon as possible so he could go back to using Sybelle like portable AC. Actually, that wasn't a bad idea. "Cool this place down with Ice Punch!"
">Oh now that's cold! You gave me a name!< The Ghost called back as if she were offended, but as a grin spread across her features and she gave a short ">Mwehehe<" It was clear she was just being cheeky. Turning back towards the Cubone, Sybelle would position herself. They called her species Gastly, but did anyone actually take the time to question what sort of gas they were made of? Well as it happened, part of that was Nitrogen.
Shifting her mass just the right way Sybelle suddenly began to drip, and an instant later the Gastly froze solid. Falling out of the air like a comet, it would seem that for the use of Ice Punch she'd turned her entire body into the fist! It was a good thing she didn't have any organs!

Alice felt a twinge of nervousness as they walked through the new area. The lightening struck the ground with a furious power, and every passing moment the storm seemed to grow stronger. Her body was no longer a composed of a conductive metal and her generator probably wouldn't overcharge if she was struck, but she was still nervous. There was always the chance that--
ZAAAAAP
That could happen, yes. She yelped, clutching Vorpal to her chest (who was much less worried about the situation). That poor Blitzle! Her opinion shifted somewhat as the striped pony rushed him, more confused than upset at the creatures nosiness. Was it hurt? Did it need help? She looked down at Vorpal, gently releasing her grip on the Honedge. "Can you... is it okay?" She took a respectful step back, as the sword hovered-- she'd be able to grab him or recall him if things got bad. "I'll let you handle this?"
>Definitely,< Vorpal remarked, who had been able to understand the Blitzle's electric rants. She seemed a bit disoriented and... clingy. But maybe there was a way to turn this to his advantage. >I certainly feel the... charge between us,< he stated to the Blitzle, meeting her gaze boldly. >However, my oath is to my trainer. But that doesn't mean we couldn't spark some fires... if you'd be interested in joining this quest?< Vorpal he no idea what he was doing. He was quote some of Lankford's sillier pulp books-- the scientist thought he was quite good at hiding things... but not from a nosy spirit that could float through walls.

(14-6)+(10-12) = 6 x 2 = 12 DMG to the Cubone! Cubone is at 4 HP!
The Cubone crashed right into the way as the Gastly full-force rammed into him with her icy body. >How did...< He muttered, trembling from the cold. He'd never been this cold in his entire life-- he'd grown up in the depths of the cave. Gingerly, he reached up to touch his skull mask, which had cracked somewhat under the force of the ice. >Gotta... stop you...< he growled, scrambling to his feet. Lowering his head, he kicked up against the cave floor. He rushed forward at the Gastly, launching himself into the air in an Iron Head attack!

The Blitzle would cast Alice a side glance before saying ">I I see how it is. Well this pone don't swing for no man, not even you<" She said, clopping her hoof against the ground and shaking her head from side to side. Snorting slightly Electric-type would clomp her hoof before sighing slightly...and then promptly freezing, eye's wide open as another electric charge ran through her ">Then again many volts make a strong current!<"
Shaking herself the Blitzle would dance a few steps back ">I'll make you a deal honey knife. If this hits you, you admit opposites attract and we go off to make beautiful magnetism together! And----ZZZZZZZTCK...<" The Blitzle frozen, falling over as she lost balance and recovering as she rolled back to her feet ">And if it hits her I stick my magnet to her fridge.<" Electrcity would run across the Blitzle's body, but as her eye's shinned it would be clear this time it was quite on purpose! ">READYSETGO!<" She shouted in a speedy manner, not giving Vorpal a chance to reply before loosing a bolt of electricity!Looked like it was time to see who made the better lighting-rod!

The oddest bit was that the Cubone would find Argyle lurking closer to the battlefield, readily trying to be amidst the cooled air created by the Gastly's attack. "Ooooh that's nice...." He shivered, enjoying the slight drop in temperature a little too much for his own good "Do that again. Another Ice Punch."
As the icy shards of what had been Sybelle began splitting apart and melting, the ice would actually begin rising back into the air as gas, reforming into a familiar shape in a frighteningly short amount of time. Of course as soon as she had reformed the Gastly would begin dripping again, freezing herself over as she literally fell on the Cubone. At least she was trying.

Longwei stared. And stared some more. Had the Shieldon really just attempted to use that move on him? He actually felt insulted. Did he not act manly enough? He certainly felt the Shieldon acted more feminine....what male would be obsessed with what he looked like? Irritated, he took a deep breath and then shoot flames at his opponent!

">No? There's no reason to be coy? Ah but I suppose my beauty is just too great! Fine then, let us light this instead! <" The Shieldon proclaimed, turning about and digging through the snow till he came up with a stick. Apparently he intended to use it like a torch!
Glaive has been reduced to -9 HP! Glaive is dead! Tsuna takes the field!
Alexander was getting worried as he saw that Glaive wasn't just stuck, but was sinking into the muck. Even worse, the scaredy duck was now getting a bit of courage and seemed to want to take advantage of the pawniard's predicament."Glaive! Hang in there!"the boy shouted as he worked on getting the dark steel pokemon's ball unclipped. Once he had the ball in hand, he shifted one foot a bit as he pointed the orb at the struggling pokemon... Then lost balance and literally dropped the ball due to his foot sinking into the mud.
As it turned out, the time it took for Alexander to sift through the water and fish out the ball was just a bit too long. The ducklett's attack, a water gun this time, hit its mark and hit it hard. The water attack had shoved Glaive the rest of the way into the muck and under the surface of the bog's own disgusting liquid. It had also succeeded in getting the pokemon terribly stuck as it had tried to use its hands (or what amounted to them) to keep from landing on his face, but that meant the front portion of his head was stuck below the water.
The boy finally rebalanced himself, found the ball, and was back to pointing it at the pawniard. He couldn't see the pokemon moving, but surely, it hadn't taken that long."Return!"he called out as the beam of red light shot out, hitting the pawniard and surrounding it with a red light. Instead of suckign the pokemon within as Alexander had hoped, though, the light broke away, leaving the body of the pawniard where it was still sinking into the mud.
Alex was stunned, trying again a couple of times to recall the body. Each time, though, the result was the same. The light broke away and Glaive's lifeless body remained. Seeing that no, it would not work, the boy stared as his partner's body in silence before slowly turning to look at the ducklett circling overhead. If he had been a pokemon himself, he would have obviously been using glare or mean look on the bird. Still, as much as he wanted to beat the bird into duck puree with his wooden sword, he knew that he wasn't going to be able to, if only because he also had mobility problems. That only left one option."Tsuna! Flail!"Alexander watched as the barboach, who had been swimming somewhat nearby, flopped around in an attempt to splash up high enough to hit the bird. True, he could have chosen to try and run, but he was not letting his pokemon's killer get away unscathed.

The Cubone met the Gastly's ice blast mid-air, but this wouldn't be enough to save him. He'd end up smashing into her icy clutches, the frost creeping along his body and digging into his skin. He'd struggle, but it wouldn't be enough to free him from the cold cultures. Right there up in the air, he'd freeze solid... and hopefully, we all know how gravity works. He'd fall to the ground with a sickeningly wet crash, literally shattering to pieces in front of the boy and his Pokemon. The Cubone's body was splattered across the cavern floor, disgusting chunks of ice and viscera now in his path. Clean THAT up, little butler.
