After entering the blind date event she entered the other day, Veronica, after receiving the info to meet my blind date at armour de la mer. After getting ready, applying casual makeup and dressing accordingly, she drives down to the location on her bike. After about 10 minutes of drive, she arrives and parks her bike in the lot. After dismounting she locks her bike and from her case pics up a card with some written information on it and a opening conversation starter on it and a single rose and walks around the building towards the cafe looking for her match.

  Rhun had sat down for now as he waited. He wasn’t really sure what they were meant to do to be honest. But then, he was hardly versed in the dating scene. Since he lost his sight at such an early age, dating had never come up in his mind. Of course part of it was because this type of event, or he guessed it could be called an event, didn’t exist in his original home. The first time he heard about it was now. Often couples at his old home just met by fate or coincidence, depending what you believed in. After he sat down, he had asked if there was a menu with braille so he could pick something to drink as he sat here and thankfully there was. It only took a moment before he was provided with one, so he could check what they offered. It wasn’t much it seemed, not like Moonbucks, but Rhun did remember reading something about this place being a Bed and Breakfast, so it made sense they were more focused on other offers. The highelf ordered a cup of normal tea and placed the menu next to him just in case he might need it again later. Soon enough he was brought the tea and the waitress was even as considerate as to let him know that there was sugar on the table in front of him to the right, so he wouldn’t accidentally grab milk instead. Rhun thanked her and gave her a smile before he could hear her footsteps moving away. He carefully reached out and felt the containers before him before he found the most right one and he put some sugar in his tea carefully. He had found his ways around his shortcomings, so it sometimes took for him telling people or them seeing how he found his way or asking for braille to find out he couldn’t see. He then checked next to the cup until his fingers found the teaspoon so he could stir the sugar through the beverage. He then relaxed, sitting back and stared ahead towards where he had heard the waves and other people. A calm, gentle smile formed on his lips as he allowed the surroundings to sink in. His hands were loosely around the cup of tea as he soon felt more relaxed instead of nervous for this new experience. Rhun looked up a bit surprised after a while when he heard footsteps come closer again and he could notice the aura nearby him. It didn’t feel human, but Rhun was far from worrying about that. Soleil had proven to be relatively safe. If you didn’t count the events of Halloween, but that was a tricky night at the best of times. The elf smiled when he heard the voice asking if he was Rhun and he nodded. "Yes, that is me. You must be Hwan." he replied, his voice calm. They had provided him with the name of course. The young man gestured at the table inviting them to sit with him and decided perhaps it was best to start this encounter easy. The other male’s voice betrayed a similar nervousness as Rhun had felt. She very Craft in her magic as her purple hair pinned up in curl locks. The carriage took off and she enter the place, all eyes were watching her. She looks around for her date and leave a smelt of peach and Honey where ever she go . Finally she saw her name on the table and sat next to the woman there . "Eh you must be veronica. Did we met at the bar?" She laughed as she sat down and place her purse on ht lap. She looks at the menu then place down."how very odd that we match up this way?"

Naturally, Hwan was still a little hesitant at first but he did take a seat across from the other man. A server joined them at the table leaving him a menu though Hwan already made up his mind with what he wants, Black coffee with a single espresso on the side. He wasn't really hungry at the moment and this is about the only drink Hwan gets at any cafe because everything else they have is something of a sugar overload, he may not be able to taste it but he can still smell it.
tab tab tab Sitting in brief silence between them when a question was brought up it being the first time coming here. He offered a slight shrug while reminding himself to not overshare on first meetings. "Yeah, in general too. Recently moved in, trying to get familiar with the grounds." Answering as one of the servers returned with Hwan's drink order; neatly setting the tray in from him before bowing out.
tab tab tab Pouring half of the espresso into his coffee drink, listing the cup up to his lips as he takes smalls sips from it since it was still hot though he doesn't mind it. Trying to come up with conversation starters, his weak point though Han made sure to give his twin some pointers for this 'date'. "You... you have any hobbies you do in your free time? I like hiking in forests and mountain trails." Trying to start off with something simple, though for some reason Hwan isn't fully relaxed. The man's date didn't seem to have taken long, and lo and behold, she came bearing gifts. A smirk played on his lips as he shifted in his place, helping her with the bottles and the glasses lest she dropped them in the pool. "Welcome back." he'd state. If she really stole them, he wasn't going to mind though he would still find that quite amusing that she did go through the trouble of doing so. To his surprise, she did imply that she did infact steal them, which made him chuckle a little. Seems like this date was going well so far.
"I'm pretty sure you're right." he admitted, asking for the wine when she offered, not because she took some for herself but he wanted to be less intoxicated for this date. Maybe pay attention to this amusing little woman with him. "Favorite flavor..." he responded when she'd ask him, taking a moment to think to himself as he took a sip from his own glass. Certainty she had good taste. "I'm going to refrain from being nasty and just say seafood - but I would like to imply that I do fancy trying out new things. Birds too are quite flavorful when done right" he'd state as he set the glass aside, passing her a toothy grin. If it wasn't evident on his poor expressions, he was trying to just humor her in his rather twisted manner.
"And what about you?" he'd ask, propping his elbow on the edge of the pool as he watched her, resisting the urge to reach for the woman's hair that resembled plumes.
"By the way, I must ask. Did you really steal those drinks? I mean, I don't mind if you did. I just find it quite unusual for certain people to have such eccentric hobbies here. I must say, you might be the first of the few I've met with such." he'd admit, truly admiring her for her honesty and well, interesting take in things. "I can say I did share a similar taste earlier on, but eventually I was just handed things I wanted without having to make the effort. But that too loses its charm. There is no joy in picking up things when they are just handed over." he added, refraining from giving too much detail, it might have given her a bit of an insight on his life. Maybe if she'd ask, more detail could be provided, but he did enjoy the anonymity.

Rhun noticed they had silences falling between them, but he was never the type to rush anything. If they needed some time to adjust, he would patiently wait for them to do so and be ready for the whole experience. For now some light, small chatter would keep them engaged at the very least. When he asked if this was their first time a short silence fell again, of course the elf couldn’t see the shrugging motion, before they replied. Rhun smiled and nodded. "This is my first time here as well, I needed some help to find the building. It feels nice here though, a very kind atmosphere. I came to Soleil a while ago now though." he replied in turn before he took a small sip from his tea to allow his companion to gather his bearings. It would seem they had found them rather quick though. As they quite quickly asked the question of the day. The highelf listened as they spoke and finished their question with some of their own hobbies. It sounded similar to his: nature and calm walks. That was something they had in common then. "That sounds great. I also love to walk in nature, though it is better if I stick to forests and the like rather than mountains." the young man replied and chuckled a bit as he changed his position slightly to sit more comfortably. He had lived with his blindness for so long that he often saw the humor of it as much as the dangers and it helped him a lot. Half the time he didn’t even think about it, except for days like today where he was in a completely unknown area, with an added danger of deep water. "I like walking in the park in Uptown Soleil as well as the forest just beyond the ferry on the island nearby." he shared some information about himself. Of course he hadn’t visited the forest on Mykros Island by himself, that would have been foolish. It would be too easy to wander into the much less safe jungle that connected to the forest. "Have you been hiking in the forest on Mykros Island yet?" the young man asked curiously. This was a time to get to know each other after all. Veronica, explored untill she found the restaurant and was instructed to go to the table with her name on it. She sat down and then, waited until the sent of peaches and honey filled the air, she turned to the source and saw just stunning beauty walking towards her, it was then she realized after she sat down next to her that she was the woman she met at the bar. Once the woman addressed her saying what she was thinking,Veronica then responded, "yes we have, it is indeed odd but at the same time interesting, we get to have a proper conversation now."

"Not yet, it is on my list of places to go to." He hasn't had the chance to get to it. He has been busy clearing up things with his superiors and paperwork. There's a long process when it comes to long-distance moving. Though there is a worry that he may need to move again in the future... hopefully he'll hear from his higher up in a short time.
tab tab tab When I have free time, I usually go on a camping trip too in the woods." Personally mountain areas aren't his but for a different reason. He feels more in his element in the more greenery forest scene, with a comforting scent. Pouring the rest of the espresso into his drink as he finishes it, gently sliding the cup and saucer to the side for a server to come by and pick it up. Though now that he has finished his drink, he was starting to feel peckish. Luckily he still had the menu at hand which he then skimmed through, skipping most of the items and finds the sandwich page. He wasn't looking for anything in particular, as long as it had meat; he'll get it. Maybe ham and cheese or roast beef, both sound good.

"I'll have the roast beef sandwich if that's possible. The server nodded and headed back to the kitchen and Hwan returned his attention to Rhun. He seemed to have given her a legit answer afterwards, though. "I'm always down to try something new, too. Buuuut, the best flavor is free." A little bit of a cryptic answer, but it was a simple thing in all honesty. "Something that tastes so good can taste a thousand times better when its F-R-E-E~" Who didn't like free food... free anything? Her sticky little hands had a bad habit of not keeping to themselves. If the singing bird wanted it, then she was going to have it. She would never steal anything from poor folks, however. She'd simply steal for them if she was close enough to them. Hearing her date ask her if she actually had done the sneaky deed brought Seri into a fit of laughter. "I mean I did say I was going to 'swipe some bottles', no?" A playful grin appeared over her features as she took another good swig of her wine. Yep, free wine definitely tasted a whole lot better.
"My closest friend tries very hard to get me out of this bad habit, but I've done this for nearly over a century! Bad habits don't die off easily." Poor Marcy. The doctor really did try his best, but Seri was a stubborn bird! It would take a lot more than simple scolding to get her to quit cold turkey. While Saeyong vaguely mentioned being a little thief, as well, Seri couldn't help but smirk slightly. "As much as I love gifts and gift-giving, sometimes it feels more of a reward when one isn't handed things so easily. I've had a few random strangers give me things, but half of the time I turn them down... I do steal them later, though~" It was a petty thing to deny something only to swipe it later, but then again, Seri was a petty person at times.
As her cup ran dry, the siren was quick to replenish it and even offered her date a top off as well. Seri wanted to continue the small chat, but honestly thought the idea of just sitting around and chattering could end up being boring. Why not spice it up a bit? The woman had a mischievous grin on her face as leaned in a little closer to Saeyong. "Let's play a little game, hm? I like to call it 'Assumptions': we make at least 3 assumptions about each other and the other person has to confirm whether they're right or wrong. Veronica immediately responds to her compliment "thank you" she looks over the menu aswell and after Veronica hears the question Maura asked she then responds with "that is an interesting power, to read minds, that would be handy when there people approaching. As for me O would like to have the ability to shapeshift. To change my appearance and physicality to look like anyone" veronica then opens the menu and glances over each page.

The woman was pretty open about her vice and it was quite amusing, he too wasn't shy to talk about his own vice..es. Vices he'd soon be brushing upon and while he found her amusing, which was a good sign, but sharing common interests was even better. "You did and well, I couldn't agree any less. Everything tastes better when Free." he chimed as he took a sip of his own drink, allowing her to refill it for him.
"Honestly, it isn't a bad habit if you're not hurting someone with it." he'd state. Ah, much like him she wasn't as young as one would consider. Funny, he could relate to her problem though he wouldn't consider the person who asked him to fix his habits a friend. "Time and time again I was asked to stop sleeping around, but I'm not hurting anyone...without their consent so, it doesn't qualify as a bad habit." he shrugged. "Oh gosh, imagine trying to swipe the very thing you turned down and they find out." he had a rather amused smirk upon his own lips.
"I sure like games, though, what does the winner get? Any punishment for the loser?" he'd ask, "A peck if we get the answers right, or maybe the loser has to do something unpleasant?" he'd suggest. A game was only fun if it had some stakes to it, something to win or lose, something to motivate, but sure, assumptions were interesting, what would one assume of him? Besides, some of the obvious things.
Whether or not she chose to have a wager, the man chose to indulge her anyways. He wanted to play so, wager or no wager, he was in."You...are not human, I'm assuming siren because of your voice..wait- Am I assuming all the three things at once?" he'd ask, raising a brow. "Or do I wait for you to confirm whether I'm right or wrong?" he'd ask.

Small talk topics began to collect in his head as he tries to seem in a panic at his sad excuse for an ice breaker. Hwan's not so good on the spot in a social setting, he's the quiet twins. Haneul was the extroverted and social butterfly one. No- He can't just throw it in this quick. Taking a deep breath to calm himself down. Till he can think of another topic, they can still talk about camping; it's better than an awkward silence. "As often as I can. I try to at least once a month for several days at a time. It's more like a break from everything. And yeah I usually have everything I need packed. Sometimes my twins join too." Cutting himself off again to not overshare.
tab tab tab Rhun mentioned that finding a job is difficult due to his blindness- oh. 'Hm.. wouldn't have known he's blind...then again it's not like there's a visible trait of it-'Hwan can kinda get how it is for him. He too was visibly impaired but in a different department. Being colour-blind while having a worse depth of perception. lowly nodding his head as his eyes went back to the drinks menu being that he finished his drink. There was something he wanted to say but it was stuck at the back of his throat because he's unsure if it is in his place to say it.
tab tab tab "Yeah I get what you mean. I myself am not blind but I have a couple of vision problems." He has come to the decision to not bring it up, in his head it sounded motivating but it also sounds... passive aggressive? Better safe than sorry, he'll keep the comment to himself. While he does have some sight problems, he has other senses that can make up for it so it hasn't really bothered him besides Prom's entire colour palette. The waiter made rounds by their table, taking his date's order while he tries to think of his next order, letting out an exasperated sigh as he can't seem to find a drink that wasn't sweet besides coffee or tea. After the other made his order on a fruit platter, he raised his hand a little for their attention. "I'll have another black coffee with cream and an espresso." After the worker nodded and headed to off, he turned again towards Rhun. "Hm.. got a favourite season?" Was that really the best question he came up with?
