Lock helped someone with a severe burn after realizing that water is in fact a good thing. After "helping" so many people, he was actually feeling relatively tired and needed to go lie down for a bit on his own.
Being a person who actually did things instead of standing at the head and talking about them was somewhat more taxing than he'd realized.

The air in the room was ripe with the sharp copper tang of blood and the near choking smell of charred flesh. The entire medical wing they'd set up was crude, if not completely unsanitary and nightmarish. There were more bodies than beds, and temporary medics were forced to take care of patients on the cold ground when there were no more beds available, which seemed to be exclusively the case.
She steeled herself with a shallow breath (she was afraid of the way her stomach rolled with the deeper ones) and headed for the supplies. Bindings seemed to be the most important, so she grabbed several of those. From the smell of burnt skin in the air, she could assume she'd need fire. Sanitary was perhaps important, so she grabbed water as well. She had no idea why she might need the alcohol, though, so she left it behind for now. She could always come back.
With supplies in hand she turned to face the injured, ready to be of use.

The first knight she saw came to her limping, supported by the shoulders of a much smaller apprentice with wide eyes and a white face. She'd almost mistaken the poor girl for her patient, before she'd seen the gruesome bleeding from the knight's leg.
She realized, suddenly, why she might need the alcohol. She couldn't take care of this without disinfectant of some kind, and alcohol was all that was readily available. With a heavy heart, she turned him away.
Hopefully she wouldn't be doing that much.

Another knight, this time a wiry woman with deep set eyes that were steely in her efforts to hide her pain, appeared before Drona. She lifted a dirty rag to reveal a blistering burn across her ribs, red and angry from maltreatment.
Drona poured some water over it, but without alcohol to really clean it she did little good. She sent the woman to someone with better supplies, feeling low for her inability to help.

What she hadn't considered was that there would be patients she could do nothing for, despite whatever supplies she had at her disposal. She watch a man in incredible pain sweat his way through his ailments, wishing only that she could make him more comfortable.
When he finally passed she was more relieved than upset. Did that make her horrible? She just wanted him to stop suffering.
