Panicked, Aerdrie frantically ran out of the toy store, down several pathways, until the shouting of men from security became faint. Out of breath, the elf slowed down her steps before weakly falling to her knees and hands, panting heavily. Man is she out of shape. After taking a few deep breaths, Aerdrie raised her head, and came to a sitting position, while pushing back her long locks of hair away from her delicate features. She was finally outside? Right? Looking around the walk way, she had fallen near a fountain, a statue in the center of that of Greek art. Smiling, the elf stood up, dusting herself off, and walked over to the wishing waters, to see coins dropped at the shallow bottom.
Seeing that people actually attempted a wish, she hoped that their wish came true. It filled her heart with love, and joy. Would you expect anything less of this hopeless romantic? Aerdrie had a thought, and began rummaging through her bag, but found no coin......guess no wish for her. She looked up to the sky, pushing her hair back with a heavy sigh. She noticed a kite drifting on by, and came up with another idea. Again, the elf went through her little bag, and pulled out her notebook, and pencil.
While writing down a hidden message on each page, she began to hum, and before she knew it, Aerdrie was singing a little tune. As she sang, the light scraps she had on her knees from earlier began to heal. Dead plants displayed now revived. With each page torn out, folded into little paper planes, she tossed them into the air as far as she could, and watched as the breeze did the rest. Watching the paper fly until out of sight, Aerdrie hushed her voice, enjoying the silence that is the outdoors. So, basically not silence at all, but rather distant children laughter, the sound of the wind, birds chirping. That sort of quiet. The elf stretched out her arms with a long yawn, before slowly laying herself down on the cold tile of the fountain, and allowed herself to drift off into a light nap.
The tiger let out a soft yawn as her paws gently moved along the path. She shook hers self, her white fur gently reflecting a bit as she moved about enjoying the harmony of it all. People gave her looks, but all it took was one smile for them to turn away or...run away in some cases. The kids were playing, the innocence of their youth bringing joy to her heart. Some even seemed to note the enormous, bus-sized tier clad in holy cloth and prayer beads.
She came to the fountain where she let out another small yawn looking up at the wonderful structure. Looking in she saw coins herself, and began to pray that those wishes were granted. She gathered her Chi for a moment before she let out a loud roar, making the water glow for a moment as if the stars were shining within before she stopped. She was unaware of the sleeping woman on the fountain as she wasn't paying too much attention and sometimes she missed the easiest things.
The tiger sat herself there, staring off, her long tail gently wafting behind her as she enjoyed peace as well. A few people looked, but she only gave them the friendly regards she gave to all the being of the tao, blissfully unaware she might be scaring some people in her animalistic form, her natural state. It was hard to give considerations to this in her mindset anyway.

"Oboete oite, anata wa hitori de iku hitsuyō wa arimasen!"
After what seemed like an hour, Aerdrie slowly batted her eyes until they were opened to the afternoon sunlight. Day still? Must've not been that long. Groaning, the elf slowly sat herself up, rubbing her right eye with the same side of her hand, before lowering her hand back to the cold stone of the wishing fountain she had laid upon earlier. Looking around, there were a few people who glanced her way, but covered the eyes or ears of their kin, and hurried off, as if frightened or weary of her. But was it aimed at her or?-
Her thoughts cut short, as she watch the other pair of human hurried away, and followed their gaze to behind her, where he saw a large beast. She stared for a while, wondering what kind of creature it was. Thinking back to her childhood, she recalled her father taking her to the zoo, this would be a tiger....right? But tigers are orange/red? aren't they? Aerdrie tilted her head to the other side, wondering if by chance there's more than one kind, and if so, why would one be here of all places? She crawled over to the tiger, to get a closer look.
Once she was directly next to the beast, she watched it closely, questioning if she should touch the beasts ears, or pt its head, maybe poke it? Next thing Aerdrie knew, the elf hesitantly reached her left hand out to the creature, and finally, placed the gentle hand on top of its head. WOW!, soft! She thought to herself, and began to soflty stroke the beasts fur with a soft smile, she always wanted to pet animals, but never was given a chance to, until now.
The tiger was pretty relaxed there at the moment just enjoying the peace about when all of a sudden she felt someones hand on her head. She instinctively leaned into the gentle touch, chuffing all the while at it as if there was nothing strange about it. Any other tiger may have lashed out, but Kiku herself was very gentle about it especially since the children where she lived had a tendency to do this very thing as she was in the middle of napping, its not like whoever it was was trying to hurt her.
However, after a bit she realized what was happening and looked over to the person touching her. She sat up, now being too tall to simply pet but she gave a sharp smile to the rather pretty elf woman. She twitched her ears "Ohayou! Were you enjoying the feeling of my fur?" she spoke though her lips were matching up it was a bit of an ethereal voice. She wasn't expecting the sudden touch but it wasn't bad.
She continued to sit there, swaying her tail back and forth as she stared down at the woman with yellow eyes.

"Oboete oite, anata wa hitori de iku hitsuyō wa arimasen!"
Aerdrie removed her hand, and sat back in a startle as the beast woke up, and spoke. That can't be right, can animals do that? Aerdrie was at lost for words, well has been for many years, but in this case, she didn't know if this was another dream or reality where a white tiger can talk. Sitting there in awe of this majestic creature, the elf realized that this complete silence must be very awkward. She quickly began to use her hands like always; "Hi! My name is Aerdrie, what's yours?" She signed to the animal, well, not quite sure what it is at this point.
Thinking back on it now, she did see an odd person back at the library before Aerdrie dashed out of there. The figure had a large red jewel in the center of its head, and large furry ears if she remembers correctly. Does this mean that creatures are accepted in this time? It's been so many years, how long has it been? In her old time, creatures were never accepted, her loss of hearing in the one ear is proof of that. Humans hate their kind, they're not natural so it goes without saying that humans would never accept them.
Luckily being born an elf, she can pass as a human and has for so many year since, by hiding her ears, and well spoken/soft tone of voice by growing her long hair to hide the ears, and refusing to speak. In fact, it's been so long, its almost believable that she might have forgotten how.......well, except that one time a few days back where she slipped out her tone of voice to a man......but she was caught of guard! Aerdrie leaned forward with a soft smile."Sorry, didn't mean to be so bold earlier, you looked so content, and soft!"She signed again.
The tiger watched the elf woman move her hands, speaking in a language the monks sometimes did when they took their tongues away. She looked up, smiling to the elf as she perfectly understood what she was attempting to say to her. She gently licked her paw "I am Kiku! Kiku Oshiro!" she introduced giving the woman a bow, putting a single pay forward as the orange cloth on her shoulders shimmered and her prayer beads swayed gently. The elf might have been able to notice that the tiger was not touching the ground as every movement produced a small film of some energy that looked like the stars.
The tigers ears twitched every so often as the children near them played or the animals let out soft noises. The tiger seemed so peaceful and free here, her tail continuing its peaceful sway. She shook her fir, watching again as the elf apologized for touching her. The tiger twisted her head a bit "It is very much okay! Your touch was very nice Lady Aerdrie." she spoke in a very happy tone, though it was echoing lending to her mythical nature. The tiger never had problems with people touching so long as it was gentle and they were avoiding being rough with her tail.
The tiger moved closer for a moment, studying the girl for a moment, sniffing her out. She sat back again "I was not aware you were here. Were you sleeping as well? It is a nice day to sleep outside." she asked shaking herself away, licking at her fur. She briefly thought of taking her human form, but she didn't see the need. She was quite enjoying walking about in her natural state and the girl wasn't running from her so she knew she wasn't afraid at least.

"Oboete oite, anata wa hitori de iku hitsuyō wa arimasen!"
The elf relaxed her shoulders as it seemed that her bold actions were not scorned but rather well reciprocated. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance." She signed happily. Looking out to the open area, the weather was just right, not to hot, not to cold, but rather pleasant. And seeing kids playing and laughing, made her happy to see the atmosphere is in a good mood. "I was sleeping a moment ago. Probably not a safe thing to do out in the open, huh?" The elf signed. She chuckled at the end, almost nervously as the reality hit. What if she was woken up by a stranger who would have taken advantage of her? Then it's a good thing that this tiger is the one she woke up to, and not some creep. "What brings you to a place like this? Wouldn't you want to be in the wild? Is it beautiful in the forest? Scary?" Aerdrie signed again. She felt like she was being a bit to inquisitive, and backed off, feeling a bit embarrassed for getting excited with talking to a talking tiger. "Sorry, I get to excited when talking to new people." She signed, admitting one of her many faults.
The tiger girl began to lick her paws a bit as she spoke about sleeping in the open "Well I sense no malice in the air." she spoke looking about. Indeed, it seemed that it was quite safe in this place it was quite impressive. The tiger lowered herself a bit more to sit upon her paws, looking at the elf with big yellow eyes that had a subtle glow to them. Kiku let out a small yawn, licking her hops for a moment before answering "I simply explore~! The forests are great but I am not from here anyway. I came here from Japan."
The tiger had to move her tail occasionally as people came by, threatening to step on it which was never pleasant for her. The tiger smiled again, or well as best as she could to show her pearly white teeth "It is okay. Meeting new people is great is it not!?" she shook her head shaking her fur a bit "It is always best to make some friends. If you need one, I can also be your friend." Kiku was aware they just met, but Kiku had little patience for the normal rituals that people went through. They were all from the same source! Why not make friends with people right away? That was one thing about Kiku that never changed. Still affectionate and overly-friendly.
The tiger gave a yawn "It is very much nice to meet you." a strange way too say that Kiku considered herself a friend either way.

"Oboete oite, anata wa hitori de iku hitsuyō wa arimasen!"
[Previously] Aerdrie looked out to the public eye, as the tiger spoke of not sensing any malice in the area. It truly is a peaceful, and serene place. How odd for it to be so though. The elf looked back to the tiger with such wonder in her eyes. So, she's not from here originally, she's from Japan? That must have been quite the journey! To have traveled so far to make it to an area like this one. Her thoughts traveled to what kind of amazing adventures the tiger must have gone on before coming here. It was almost something unreal, like, something from a fantasy novel, or movie!
"A stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet." Was Aerdrie's cute way to sign a response to the tigers comment to making new friends, and when friendship was offered, he elf looked to the tiger with excitement, and wow. Thinking back, her first friend was that girl she met outside, and went to the cafe across the street. The next is that man she had the pleasantries of meeting twice now, but ended up running out of the toy shop, on awkward terms. But now, she has a Tiger as a friend! A TALKING TIGER! Her heart soared like a childs excitement to the first time on a roller coaster.
Without thinking, Aerdrie hugged the tiger, not roughly to harm the beast, but in a warm embrace, nuzzling into her furry shoulder. Pausing for a moment, she recalled her father telling her that hugging a dog stresses them out, but what if it was the same for tigers!? She quickly let go, and sat back, pulling away, feeling extremely embarrassed. "Oh gosh! I did it again! Acting out before thinking or asking!"She signed with her face turning red. The elf tried to calm down, looking to the fountains water before smiling back at the tiger. "I'd love to be your friend!" She responded happily.
Looking back out to the public eye, she noticed the sun was setting and she had to find a place to stay at. Looking back to her newly found friend, Aerdrie stood up, and bowed her head lightly. [b]"I gotta get going, it's getting late, I hope we can meet again." She signed with her last before signing her goodbye, and left.

The cab continued its cruise towards the Cerise walkways, Cassie being mostly quiet until the car was close to the destination that the ice mage was seeking for. "Can I call you Julie? Because that's what I feel like doing so, and it's cute. Call me Cassandra or Cassie, whichever you please." After that, she continued to take a glance through the window, seeing that the rain continued to pour down on the glass; the cold rain would be great for her ice magic, so maybe she should show off a little of her abilities. "I actually work at the potion store nearby. Has the nifty way to solve most problems but it may be best to just watch out for anything that may occur while the potions are in effect. It is mostly due to the volition of oneself that things like this happen." One thing was for sure, evil intentions led to the battles that the Ice family had endured for years and she was hoping that none of the useless struggles would have to occur again, more so when the family wanted to have a peaceful life in Soleil.
Sadly, the car came to a sudden stop, and the driver frantically turned the key, hoping to kept it running once again. The man cursed, having to dash out of the car while hurriedly grabbing the portable umbrella so that he could check the main cause of the problem. Turned out that the battery was dead, which induced a curse from the employee himself; the cab company would have to pay for the repairs and a portion of his paycheck would be cut off to cover that expense, which scared the heck out of him. But then again, he would have no choice but bite the bullet and gave the repair shop a call, meaning both Cassie and Julie would have to leave the public transport. That was when the ice mage sighed, having no choice but to relinquish $80 dollars out of her wallet in an attempt to pay for the cab fare alongside the partial payment for the repairs."This is for the fare plus partial payment for the repair, so that your paycheck wouldn't have to be cut-off so much... hopefully."
Indeed, it sucked, but Cassie had to help out in any way that she could. That way, the driver wouldn't have to suffer so much due to something that could happen abruptly. Though there was neglect, there may be other reasons for the car breaking down like that.

> xxxxx"Ah... W-well," she began, once asked if the white haired woman could call her by a nickname that had only ever been used by those closer to her than a stranger. But from what Julie could tell the girl - Cassandra - was already set on doing so, and the brunet would lose the argument. "Sure, I guess," she finally answered, earning a nickname to call the white-haired beauty that she had decided she would stick with despite her nerves. "I-It's nice to meet you.. Cassie..." She ushered up a small smile as she looked at the woman, who had turned her head to view out the window before piping up on a whole new subject.
> xxxxxIt was still a new concept that things like potions existed outside of storybooks, in Julie's mind. Alas as she listened to Cassandra explain how such things worked, the brunet found herself fascinated. Of course, it was a short-lived sensation.
> xxxxx'Oh no,' she thought to herself. She strained to hear any chance of the engine turning over, as the driver frantically tried to restart the taxi to be on their way. To no avail. 'Well, I guess we could walk..' Julie didn't mind getting wet from the rain, considering she had grown up with it her entire life. She wasn't positive Cassie felt the same way she did, but she did suppose that she was about to find out. "You said your work was nearby, didn't you?" Since that was more than likely where she had been heading, Julie decided that she wouldn't mind getting the chance to explore a potion store.
