[ Room 25 ] - Ami, Lex
She did as she was told, surprisingly, summoning the long glaive and holding it about arm's width from herself.
If she intended to be battle-ready, it wasn't evident. She had gone from writing in her book to checking her nails.

[ Room 25 ] - Ami, Lex
Snorting lightly, Lex directed Regal to materialize in the space between his pants and his back, leaving a comfortable pressure and ease of mind. He had no doubt of Ami's battle skills, but the apparent infatuation she had with her manicure was enough cause for precaution.
As he undid the third chain and looped it around his arm again, the infected patient luched at him suddenly, salivating and snapping its jaws. Regal was in Lex's left hand in seconds, muzzle trained on the bridge of the nose.
"Good looking out there."

Room A Gale, Stormy, Evan
Gale had made up his mind, and the decision that he had come to was that he really didn't care whether Evan approved of him or not, since he wasn't going anywhere regardless of Evan's opinion. What he did care about was Stormy and her well-being, and he cared about what had happened to her during her mission, which meant that he needed to prioritize. Any feelings he had toward Evan were pushed away, shuffled to the back of his mind.
Tuck received a questioning look; Gale wasn't entirely certain what had happened there, since last he'd heard Tuck was another one of Stormy's "brothers," but his attention was almost immediately drawn back to the matter at hand. His fingers were wrapped around his girlfriend's, and it made him somewhat more reassured that she was leaning toward him this time, instead of away, like she had last time.
"I don't know anything about the infection, either," Gale admitted, with a slight frown. "Or anything at all about this, really." And that was somewhat irritating, considering his division.

[ Room 25 ] - Ami, Lex
"Might I remind you," Ami began with quick, snipping words. "That to damage the patient lacks congruence with the goals of this operation?"
Nevermind damage to hunters. That was inconsequential.

Room 1
"Alright," Harrison grinned. "I'll play minder. She looks...friendly."
The patient, who had matted red hair and a sunken, empty expression, was chained tight to the chair.
"Wonder who did all the chaining up. You don't think it was while they was...uh....regular, do you?"
Harrison listened close on the headset.
Things seemed to be going okay for everybody, so far.Baneful All Handlers must roll 1d4 to remove the chains: There are four chains on each side, so you need to do this four times, spread between your rpers that are handlers. Match your dice roll to the results below: 1) You remove one of the four chains and you hear a loud snap, as the infected patient begins to foam at the mouth and convulse 2) You remove one of the four chains and the infected lunges towards you, snapping their teeth at you. They have lost all coherence and continue to salivate 3) You remove one of the four chains and the infected coughs, spitting blood all over you. Hopefully you didn't get any in your mouth.... 4) You remove one of the four chains and the infected stirs, repeatedly repeating the word eat over and over and over. They seem to have lost their mind.

[ Room 25 ] - Lex, Ami
Lex shot Ami a frown and snipped back, "And might I remind you that we're quarantining these 'patients' - not spreading the infection further." He cleared his throat, stepping away from the gnashing patient. "Better to rid the infection than risk spreading it. One patient in twenty-five wouldn't deter our efforts."
He felt cold saying that, heartless. Where had his sympathy gone? What if that body were Ami? Eva? Claudia? Those same words wouldn't be coming out of his mouth. This was someone's brother, husband, boyfriend... whatever relationship they had. Still, at the moment, Lex had to see them as a quantifiable object.
The snapping happened again when Lex removed the final chain, the patient convulsing again. His look towards Ami, and then the patient, was pure pity. "All chains removed. Let's get this over with."

Candace stared deadpan at Rep. "You know, sometimes, I wonder if you're really as into men as you claim you are when you bring that up like every ten minutes." Despite her words and the look on her face there was a light tone to her voice, an almost affectionate one. She snorted. "Thanks, zombieland is ******** awesome. I'd love to join. Not sure where my husband is.." She looked around, frowning a little when she didn't spot Dakota. But hey! There were a lot of other familiar faces! Thank God..To Harrison she grinned. "Aw, look how sweet he is, letting me tag along. Isn't he sweet, Rep?" She followed them, humming thoughtfully and eyeing the patient. "Maybe. I mean, if it was suspected it's a good precaution..and then those who don't continue to show symptoms probably get safely released? Otherwise.."Candace frowned. "Welp. Time to get to work, eh?"

[ Room 25 -> Room C - Ami, Lex
Ami walked behind Lex (she was not risking that thing taking a chomp out of her while her back was turned) towards the quarantine, patting him softly on the back as they reached the first checkpoint. The room was cold, but Ami was a New Yorker. Nothing bit like a New York Winter.
The camera came next. They were supposed to report research- something Ami could well enough manage on her own. "The patience vitals appear to be compromised, as indicated by large quantities of blood being regurgitated from the esophagus. Additionally, eyes seem to be an olive pallor- potentially indicative of mere jaundice, though unlikely."

[Cell 7] It wasn't really a fair battle. Lucky was attempting to do one side, and Robert was already on his second chain, tugging the zombie down the moment he released it. He was mumbling the word eat, which meant he totally wanted to scarf on some brains, and Robert's hard grip on the two chains he already had was a harsh informer that he would not be eating anytime soon. "So uh," Robert huffed out, still grinning as he flexed his hold on the chains. "Is it bad these guys are making me a little hungry?" It probably was. nothing yet quoting you both each time

[Room 1]
"I am absolutely as ******** into men as I claim I am." Rep said with a toothy grin. "So you should be flattered I guess that you left such a strong impression on that other me. You didn't even need a d**k."
The "patient" got a disdainful look from the redhead as he took in her plight, he wasn't sure what he pitied more about her, the fact she was a zombie or the fact she was female. Either way she was ******** and it was up to them to get her out of every other c**t's way.
He yanked the chain, freeing it up and their lovely ******** lady decided to cough blood all over his coat. He snarled furiously. "******** c**t." he snapped with genuine loathing and twisted the chain harder than he needed to.
"Now I'm covered in ******** infested ******** blood."

[ Room 25 -> Room C ] - Ami, Lex
Lex, meanwhile, took point indeed. He was not altogether too happy with the idea of the patient going berserk again and taking its chompers to his shoulders. Ami's touch made him jump ever so slightly. To say he'd seen enough zombie movies (because he could figure some things out) in his lifetime to spook him of this mission was an understatement.
Lex simply turned to the camera and nodded, not having anything to add to Ami's assessment.

[ Room 16 ] - [ Arland, Inoke, Jasper ] - Chains Broken: 4 There was only one chain left to free before the subject in room 16 was ready for transport. Sense said that he'd lucked out enough that he should let Jasper take the final turn; share the glory, so to speak. Glory and victory were the furthest from his mind, though, as he reached for the last chain. Arland wasn't thinking of showing off or skipping ahead, though. His thoughts were on saving someone else the risk. Inoke, Jasper... One less chance that someone else might suffer if he took that extra risk. He drew in a deep breath and reached forward to snap the last chain free. For a second everything was good. His eyes lit up with a smile that was otherwise hidden behind the scarf he had drawn up to protect his nose and mouth. He'd even managed a quick fist pump to the air before things started going wrong. "Alright, let's... <********>!" The subject began to cough violently, sending a spray of bloody foam spittle in his direction. Arland brought his arm up quickly to shield his face, resisting the urge to lash out and elbow the subject back into the chair. "Son of a b***h." So much for calm and collected... endejester Took one for the team. XD Grymoire Good luck in the chill chamber!

[Cell 7] "Eat, eat, I mean, that's all he keeps saying." Robert grumbled out as he put the first two chains in his hand, and reached for a third. Lucky was still just yanking away at that fourth one... helpful as can be. "Can you blame me for getting hungry? I wanna eat too, mother ********!" Robert's boot slammed hard on the backside of the zombie, knocking it down after taking on the third chain. 3/4

[ Room C ]
The patient prattled on about some sort of hunger. "Patient indicates some sort of cerebral disease, as indicated by nonsensical strings of words. Further examination of the cranial region via magnetic resonance imagining recommended."
She looked at Lex and pitying him, said, "Get ahold of yourself." The patient then began gnawing its own arm. Ami stuck her glaive in between the mouth and the arm, keeping the two separate.

Evan shot Gale a disbelieving glare as he played along with Stormy because he sure as hell wasn't going to turn it on her. That was fine; he didn't strictly need Gale's help. This was quickly becoming a family matter anyway, what with the bridge that would need repairing between Stormy and Tuck. He sure as hell wasn't looking forward to that."I meant," he said with a patience he didn't really feel, "what's going on with you. When did you get back? How did your mission go? Are you okay? You know, little things like that." That she had even looked Tuck's way was somewhat encouraging, but that was only slightly less of an immediate problem. He frowned and crossed his arms over his chest as she gave him leave to walk away, and if he had been smart, he would have taken it. Instead, he crossed his arms over his chest. "I'm not going anywhere. You wanted me here, I'm here for you. Simple as that. But I need to know that you're going to be able to keep it together. I need you to be strong and compartmentalize, just until we can get out of here."
