Tesunie I went to a school called Macintosh College. The school no longer exists, which is part of my problem. Where I live has limited some of my job potential, but the other problem I have is "MacIntosh promised" they would let me know were job openings where so I could apply to them. However, I was one of the last classes before they closed their door, so I was informed as my "tell you where the jobs are" to just go to monster.com... I have a Associates Degree in the field, which cost me over $30,000 of debt that eats away at my limited financial means. Depending upon where you live, it might be worth going for the degree. I don't wish to move away from family, and the area I live in doesn't have very much Graphic Design jobs open (they are there, just not "open"). (I also keep getting hit with the "You need 3-5 years in job experience"... too bad 6 years of in school experience (4 in high school, 2 in college) don't count...) I know a woman here who had the same problem with an associate's degree, that and once she found a job the time pressures were too much. She's left the profession now. I hope my daughter has better luck. But she's going to Bowling Green State U, so hopefully that accreditation and the networking she'll get through their internship programs will help. Thanks for the song and video. Fun! And yes, I see Fleur as the "connection" person, too.

That post was marvelous. I can right now see quite the culture-clash happening. I can hardly wait to hace Reim talk to Archie. I'm more exited for that then to play space engineer. I'm building conversations in my head and just brings a smile to me.

Hey guys. I'm starting college and don't have a good idea of how busy I'll be, but I assume it will be somewhere between "can only post once a week" and "forget Gaia exists at all." For now, Nathan will be wandering around Moore Town. He may or may not make it onto a ship, though. If he does I think he'll aim for the Absolute Bearing.

I'll be posting Abby soon , I promise . Things will be better after our ship has been destroyed and we're onboard the Grogram with more people to play with .

E'er'body in the club gettin' tipsy - cause the boat be rockin' and a storm be brewin' .
Alright , the Grogram shall be arriving "this evening" ( in the roleplay , not this actual evening ) . She'll be coming in on the later side - most ships don't dock at night , it's dangerous - just squeezing in with the last of the sun's light . ☠ the Bearing will arrive at night , and since she doesn't dock in the water and has a sailmaster that may or may not be able to fly her with his hands tied behind his back , she'll come in sneakily and deposit some ears on the ground . In come "morning" , the Bearing'll pounce while the Grogram is trying to get it together to take off . Enter the Sanglante Ruth , having still not received word to engage but seeing a prime CAF ship in jeopardy she'll draw the fire of the Bearing so Hester can get her boat in the air and drive off the pirate ship .
Though this matters little to most of ya , the Ruth will be crippled in this endeavour and them that survives will join the crew of the Grogram .
We can flip a coin on who gets the map and who is pursuing whom from there on out C: Or I'll take ideas and reasoning c:
Sound fancy ?

Yay, go Grogram! Soooo I'm thinking that Hester and Roy need to run into each other at this point. Exchange some words, swords go flashing and then part ways.

Thinking out loud as I type here on the whole map issue, so please excuse ramblings...Jas is working at the Broken Dagger. He will be there at that location tonight doing his thing. From what I've gathered, that is where the map will make its appearance. An option that we have is for Jas to get a chance to see it (either in total or in part) and then with his memory ability, we now have in essence two maps. Chris is going to be working to try and get Jas on the Grogram and the two are scheduled to meet up. Jas wants to go. There are a lot of different ways this can be played out. Bearing gets the map and thinks they've won, but Jas gets on Grogram, allowing them to pursue and still have a fighting chance. Someone on Bearing finds out that Jas knows about the map and they kidnap him to get what he knows since Grogram ends up with the physical map. Map gets torn in half and both parties get part. Neither ship knows that Jas has seen the map and he keeps quiet about it (maybe lets it slip to Chris at some point). So, for what it's worth, there's my two cents on possible plot points. Hope it's helpful.

This is the opportunity I've been waiting for! Up to now, Georgia has been waiting in the brig for news of where they're going, doing the same things as outlined in my first post. Now that they're finally arriving I want to get her off the Grogram (escape!) and onto the Bearing, but I'm not sure how! Anyone got any thoughts on excuses for them too take a prisoner off the ship at port? How about parts shopping with the mechanic while the ship's man business is carried out??
