Farvardin heard someone yell out to save her and looked around. She then spotted a girl pointing to another one who had fallen into the canal. "On it!" She yelled out. She ran towards the canal dodging people. Once near the water's edge she looked frantically around for something to help save Shankuntula. She spotted some rope that was tied to a piece of wood, presumably broken off the barge. She grabbed it and tossed it to her. "Grab this!" NaomiNaomi Hopefully Farvardin actually helps.

Rikki's first mistake was staying on top of a cart to see past the crowds and find Danny and Shun, hoping they were okay. Just as he thought he saw Danny among those safe on land, a horse charged by and knocked into the cart, sending it spilling over and Rikki tumbling into the canal.
It took him a long, panicked minute to figure out which way was up. When he finally broke the surface, he was gasping for air and barely managing to tread water. It was hard to swim like you were capable when there was chaos and terrified people splashing all around you.

Alec felt himself being pulled up. Having had no time to actually try and wake himself, the rough motion and Shun growling at him had him blinking slowly shaking off the hazy effect. "Thank..thank you." he managed holding his head groaning a bit. Then he realized his friend was in the canal. "OH s**t!" He shouted, bolting away from the older boy, screaming another thank you to Shun as he tore off. Grabbing a rope, he tossed it out to the dark haired girl. "Hey! grab on." He waited until she had a good grip before yanked her up. Pulling with all his might, refusing to let her drown in the canal. ((Roll is below in my next response; was a 4)) NaomiNaomi Success! You've rescued them, either fishing them out of the canal or causing them to regain consciousness out of harm's way!

Lenore quickly stripped off her costume, seeing it as a liability to helping. Looking around, she saw a little girl dressed as a mouse flailing about in the canal. Thinking quickly, she tossed the costume behind her and grabbed a stray piece of the barge before tossing it to the girl. "Grab onto this until I can get you out!" Wood was buoyant, and it would drastically improve the young girl's chances. Mythee Trying to save mouse girl.

Looking around some more, the girl found a large stick, and she tried to offer it to the mouse girl, but the stick simply wasn't long enough to reach. Lenore withdrew the stick with a 'che' before dropping it to the ground.

Farvardin saw that Shakuntala was rescued and pulled in the rope with wood. She then spotted another person in the canal. "Here I'll throw you this!" She called out. She then threw out the wood and watched as it sailed way out of the guy's way. "Sorry! Bad throw!" She yelled with a wince. DarkHeartedSorrow rolling to help; Didn't work, no hp lost

Danny's eyes connected with Rikki's for only a moment before he was knocked over the side. She cringed as a sickening splash signaled that he was indeed in the water, and indeed probably in danger.
She panicked, picking up a barrel nearby and running to the edge of the water. With a grunt she hefted it over the side, hopefully not hitting Rikki. "G-Grab that okay! I'll find help!"

By the efforts of Alec and Farvardin, Shakuntala clamped hands on the rope and was pulled and then tugged to the ground above. She rolled out on her back, coughing up water and sniffling from the bit that she swallowed. Glancing up to her saviors, she relinquished herself to relief and hugged them both about the waists.
"T-Thank you..." she mumbled. "I... I thought..." She couldn't even voice what she thought was going to happen.

Shun just grunted lowly in response to Alec, who soon blazed off to help others. He was about to go on and move to a more clear area but soon spotted Danny throwing a barrel at Rikki. Was she trying to kill the poor b*****d? He closed his eyes for a moment and placed a hand up to his head. He supposed he should help. "Bloody hell..." he grumbled under his breath before grabbing a rope and throwing it towards the guy. He couldn't swim so this was the next best thing. "Grab on. It happened so.. suddenly. By the time the barge had fell Lillian was still having trouble comprehending just what was happening. The horses raced towards her, and all she could think about was how to get out of the way. If she could get out of the way she could help' She could do her job.
In an attempt to push herself off to the side her foot got caught in the path, allowing a horse to strike her hard enough to know her unconscious.

After running around a bit, Lenore located a rope. Don't ask where. She threw the rope to Mouse Girl, but her strength proved too little, and it fell shy of her desired target. She withdrew it with another 'che'.

He hugged both of them around the middle tightly. Relieved both were okay. If he had more time he might have stayed, but more people needed to be saved. "Its alright, youre safe now. We both got you." Alec cast a look to Farvardin, silently thanking her before stepping away. "Theres people still in the water...and kittens?!" He stared after the animals, he'd get them next even if it tore at his heart strings. The man in on the Moon suite was closer. "Hang on sir!" he stumbled over his words trying to toss him a rope. It missed, and the man fell back in. Mythee Nope never mind he wasnt jk i'll go save him in a moment.

Lenore threw the rope to Mouse Girl again, and it technically did hit the target. On the head. Before drifting out of her reach.
Damn it.
