She finds a small opening with a pair of large lily pads at the end. However as she is now she can't climb them. Shadow eats her last mushroom and grows back into normal size. She climbs the lily pads and gain the treasure. A card and the feeling of strength.

Punchy had been looking for something to fight, but instead had stumbled upon a pile of tiny lily pads of all things. What they were doing in a forest was beyond him, especially since the pond they sat on was no more than a puddle. There was a bunch of mushrooms nearby as well, and their caps told him to eat them. It seemed like a fairly shitty idea, but he had eaten that cake a while back and he was doing just fine.
Some faint voice whispered about secrets and treasure and Punchy took its words to heart, grabbing a medium and large mushroom before heading further into the area.

He came to a clear fork in his path through the trees and went left, the thought that he should just toss his shrooms in the forest and get back to hitting things never far from his mind.
Eventually he reached what he thought was a dead end, until he realized that the tightly packed vegetation in front of him was grass instead of trees.
"So that's it," he muttered to no one. Punchy glared down at the mangled mushroom he had taken from the pond. "Gotta eat it." He looked as if he was psyching himself up to take a bite, but in the end, he didn't need much convincing. Punchy bit into the mushroom like it was one of the plants he had been battling, and with a bit of a face, he swallowed his bite nearly whole.
Half a minute passed before anything happened, but when the magic of this place finally got to working, it did so in a confusing rush. Punchy's limbs grew first, until he was nothing more than a tiny man-body on sticks the width of skyscrapers. When his body caught up, he couldn't help feeling dazed, and it took another few minutes before he moved on, the way forward clear again.

After straying away from the mysterious lake of memories, McCowboy found himself in a new area of the woods with various sized lily pads. In the corner of his eye he spotted a collection of mushrooms in three different sizes - small, medium and large reading "EAT ME" at the top. He wasn't one to object to eating mysterious mushrooms, so plucked two of them - one medium and one large - before moving forward on his path.

As McCowboy ventured further along his path, the grass around him seemed to be getting larger and larger until he could no longer see what was in front of him. He turned back to see the grass at normal length again. If he wanted to get through this, he was going to need to see some how. It took a short bit - but the idea came to him - the mushrooms! He wasn't much of a gamer ever, but if he knew one thing about video games, it was that in the Mario games, eating a mushroom makes you bigger.
Curious to solve the problem, he ate the large mushroom and grew to a larger height, causing the grass to return to its normal size.

At his enlarged size, McCowboy continued until he reached the stack of lily pads that could serve as his ladder to exit out - but the lily pads were too small for him at this size. He waited for a short while for the effects of the mushroom to wear off, but eventually tested eating the medium mushroom to shrink back to his normal height. With his normal size returned, he climbed the lily pads to an exit and found another treasure trove, gaining +1 level and some loot for his troubles.

His head was clear again when he reached the right lily pads, and Punchy crouched to examine them before taking a seat in the grass. He wasn't quite sure he wanted to give up being a giant so quickly, to be honest. In this form, he could pummel trees into the ground before they could even speak, if he had been able to find any. Ever since he had come across that first set of lily pads, Punchy hadn't seen a single belligerent plant. Maybe it was time to go.
With a totally meaningful sigh, man, Punchy bit into his second shroom and swallowed quickly. The transformation was shorter and less jarring this time, and soon the Gryphon was on his way across the lily pads with another card to add to his collection.

"If you can find the secret exit, I promise lots and lots of treasure! Climb the lily pads to find out!"
"Humph." disembodied voices are all the rage in this game weren't they? Sighing, [second] began to contemplate the situation in front of her. What to do, what to do...
What's this? Mushrooms? "The variation in phenotype is remarkable," [second] mumbled while observing the drastic differences in the size of the tree mushrooms, "I guess its only to be expected in this world." After all, the strange striped tree she had meet earlier had confirmed her suspicions regarding the nature of this world. Nothing is impossible. That's game logic for you.
"Well, game logic dictates that I will only be allowed if I'll do as it says, but," with that [second]'s brow became slightly furrowed, "eating unknown substances is just so..." [second] briefly closed her eyes and gathered up her resolve, "urgh, whatever, it's just a game...it can't actually harm you..." She bent down and picked up the both the tiny mushroom and the normal sized one with one hand. However, as she reached for the last one with her other hand, the disembodied voice decided to speak up again.
"Only two! You're only allowed two!"
Well then. Fine. Two it is then. With that [second] continued walking.

You proceed forward until you hit a giant cluster of bluebells. You can see something beyond the bluebells but you are too large. You must make yourself smaller!
[second]'s first solution was to continue straight on- crushed bluebells be damned, she was not putting those mushrooms in her mouth if she did have to. That plan was quickly foiled when she hit an digital wall, from a perimeter a foot from growing bluebells.
"Damn, it seems that game mechanisms deter me from simply crushing the bluebells." [second] gave a annoyed look at the mushrooms that she picked earlier. 'Smaller, which of these will make me smaller?' [second] asked herself sarcastically, 'it couldn't possibly be the tiny mushroom that made you tiny, could it?', and promptly bit into the smaller one.
Immediately, she shrunk in size. Slightly disorientated from the rapid change in perspective, [second] gave herself a second to rest. When her dizziness abated, she climbed onto the now approachable bluebells and scouted for her next route.

After her run in with the Jabberwocky, Kousagi was quite relieved to wander away from the forest into the relaxing atmosphere of what appeared to be a garden of water lilies. The girl smiled and bent down to look at them, they were awfully pretty, and was pleasantly surprised to find a challenge. Granted, she couldn't see from where the challenge originated, but it was one nonetheless. "Finding a secret entrance doesn't seem all that difficult!" She surmised with a grin. The mushrooms were before her and she had to make a choice... Alright, alright, alright.... With a quick swipe, Kousaig chose the medium mushroom and the small mushroom. She scurried off a moment later to see what she could find...

At random she chose the left path, wandering until the grass got too tall for her to see properly. Kousagi fished out the medium sized mushroom, but even after she swallowed it she was too small. Medium sized and too small, how dreadful! With a sigh she wandered back the way she'd come.

Since she knew the grass would be to her left, Kousagi decided that being smart was obviously the best option and this time went right. A spot of blue caught her eye, too small to climb on... Buuuuuuuuut~ All too pleased by her choices she downed the mushroom marked 'small' and was not at all surprised to find herself, a moment later, the perfect size to climb onto the flower. "Sooooo pretty~" She cooed as she sat atop the flowers, seeing what she could spy with her matching blue eyes. Aha! An opening over there! With a happy squeak she scurried down the flower and towards what looked like a promising path.
