And then she got to the dreaded ball pit. Maple wanted to hex the thing into oblivion. The retched creature that it was. But she pushed herself forward, waded in the plastic balls that was it and tried to swim across as quickly as she could as to not get stuck in the current.
And then got his with glitter.

It wasn't going to take her down! Not when she had some up her nose. Stupid ball pit, she will thwart you! (and try not to cry this time). Maple kicked with all her might and managed to make it to the ladder and the other side.
Take that ball pit!

But, those little threats were probably cause the ball pits to exact their revenge by making you go way too fast down the slide and to home safety. Making you fall right on your face at the very end.
But, she still beat that stupid ball pit.

She had come back to challenge the fun house again, still feeling a little bitter over the failed attempt that ended with the ball pit. The corridor of moving floors was not much of a challenge for the ghoul, bar a minor slip up here and there when the sudden changes in pace occurred.

Edel would soon enough make it across the moving floors, remembering to bring both feet onto each moving section as quickly as possible to avoid tripping up. Onto the next obstacle!

This time round, Edel took a little longer to observe the reflections of herself in the mirrors that filled the maze, which were admittedly rather entertaining. One of them in particular managed to shrink herself down to the height of the school's secretary, leading her to wonder exactly where had things gone wrong in the history of their progeny.

Finally out of the maze, the ghoul faced the unconquered obstacle from her previous attempt. Edel scoured the area for any sign of a rope to swing her over the pit, but to no avail. It does seem like the only option to get across was to swim across it.
The ghoul let out a disappointed groan as the pit startled to swirl the minute she dived into it. Was there something she was doing which kept triggering the whirlpool?
She would not figure that out for now, as she found herself being spitted out of the fun house again, this time with a pink ball as a souvenir. Better luck next time.

On her way back to the dance in hopes of finding some vittles, she was stopped by the sights and sounds of the fun house. How had she missed this before? Well, she noticed it now and it was the perfect time to see what it was all about! She took a moment after entering the first room to take a peek at the tiles carefully before stepping forward....

Halfway through there was a horrible jarring sensation, followed by the sound of metal grinding against metal and the tiles suddenly seemed to go much faster than before! Oh this wasn't good!! She carefully tucked her stuffed rabbit down the front of her dress, determined to keep it safe from harm.

She made it through!! There were a few stubbed toes, though, perhaps high heels weren't her best choice for something like this...ah well! On to the next room! The mirrors left her dizzy for a moment or two and she shook her head, deciding to just head into the room, instead of taking time to try and sort it out.

As dizzying and nauseating as the mirror room was, it didn't seem too hard for her. It as probably just luck, though. The next room filled her actual, real delight. It looked so much fun to swim through and that seemed just what she was supposed to do. "Who am I to argue?" She giggled as she lept into the ball pit, curling her tail around her waist to keep it out of the way...
...try as she might she just couldn't make it to the rope and found herself pulled down into the eye of the vortex, the world going dark for just a moment before she felt herself fall flat on the soft grass outside. "Owww....well alright then. I did my best, maybe I can try again tomorrow!" She picked up the tickets that were near her and headed back to the dance. If she was hungry before, she was near starving now!

Was all her luck gone? As she clutched her stuffed shark close, she had to wonder. Well, maybe another try at the funhouse would change that. She could hope anyway, she thought grimly as she marched in.

The young samebito was truly beginning to hate gnome carnies. Gritting her teeth, she did her best to shut them out. She had to concentrate if she wanted to get across this floor!

She'd made it! Only to find herself staring at... herself. Dozens of herself, if she were to be technical. Walking slowly, she tried to not let herself be distracted, but seeing so many versions of her was a bit dizzying.

Running through the moving floor had almost become like a dance.
Maybe there was merit in this funhouse after all if she was learning how to dance -and- swim.
