Rep gave Harrison a glance. "Who said I wanted you to cook?"
One of the creatures leapt at him, derailing him from his train of thought as he backed up. "Know what I could be going with?" he said, swinging Tracey hard into the midriff of said lizard thing.
"Barbequeue. if we get out of here alive. Lets go out for dinner later, three of us, up the beach, cook some ******** hamburgers or something."

Armagnac was also pleased with the fact that Sherry was doing somewhat decently against their current enemy. She wasn't dead, and considering today, that wasn't too bad.
Sherry was pleasantly surprised at how handy a glaive was against giant lizard monsters. Large, easy to hit targets. Yes.
Poke, poke! Slash

Aisa continued standing there, on the regal purple rune, watching the hunter show.
Maybe the horsemen were next, if they didn't all align..
Hm.

Tori still confused by all that had happened and what was happening right now. Her anger got the better of her when she saw the deaths of other hunters, of those she knew stung the hardest. As it should be the horsemen that should be dying. Aklin was happy with this since he wanted to fight so he kept of feeding his wants to his hunter.
Charging right for the closest lizard creature with sword held high and slashing it as she got close to it. Then Tori started to swirl her chain in ready for the next attack.

tick
-- nothing was real none of this was real none of it was real it would repeat over and over and hurt every time trapped trapped --
Jordan!
-- someone was calling him but he couldn't answer couldn't move somewhere he was huddled in on himself in a small damp cave this wasn't real --
Jordan! We're not dead, you need to wake up! They need help!
-- they need help? He caught that thought, seized it like a lifeline, and this wasn't real but he wasn't alone, there were others trapped here with him and he couldn't help himself but maybe he could help someone else, that was what he was good for ...
Something in Jordan's mind clicked, realigned, and he could feel Ferros again. He found that he had collapsed to his knees in the sand, hunched over and into himself, shaking so hard his teeth chattered.
Jordan! Ferros's mind pressed against his, panicky and relieved all at once.
I'm awake, he said. He really wanted to lie down and close his eyes. He got up instead, summoning Ferros. There were things happening, and the lizard-things were back. His mind was hazed and shaky. He couldn't think very well.
He hoped the guys hadn't seen him die, because it didn't matter now, when it had reset. Twice now, he thought. He wasn't sure. He'd been lost in his own head.
He couldn't afford a moment to clear his head, but he needed one anyway.

He looked up in time to see Harrison fall, blood bright and awful on the sand, and everything froze again, no, they couldn't, he couldn't --
Jordan! Ferros sounded desperate. We didn't really die, he's not really dead, he can't be.
-- this wasn't real, that was right --
-- he couldn't lose it again, not if they needed to fight this. He felt like he was looking through a screen at someone far away as he moved and brought Ferros down on the lizard that had killed (not killed not dead it wasn't real) Harrison.

Harrison groaned. "I'm already hungry, and you've got to be talking about grilling s**t- s**t, watch it-"
Harrison didn't have enough time to get in a proper block, and the claws went straight through his shield, Oh no oh no oh NO, from B0nez, and then his arm, and then his throat- really going to scar, he thought distantly, before he fell, shredded, at Rep's feet.
He was curled loosely around B0nez's tablet.

Static. Mechanical. Automatic. Robert had become a drone, following the herd, after he'd lost the only thing he'd tried to protect. He had no answers; other, smarter people were trying to solve their problems. All he had left to be was a distraction. A cog in a very rusty machine.

He knew it would, could happen here in this place where time didn't seem to give a ********. He thought he could laugh if it did, say oh well s**t will reset again, we'll be laughing again in a minute.
It happened and he wasn't laughing. It wasn't fine.
One time was always too ******** many.
Attacking ceased to matter, the horsemen ceased to matter. He didn't want to save this timeline any longer as he sunk to his knees by Harrison's side.

Twirling her chain harder as Tori then let the ball end of the chain flying to hit the lizard nearest to her.
If anyone was near her they would clearly hear a soft growling coming from Tori as she was clearly letting her anger get the best of her and her weapon was doing nothing to stop it since he wanted more to eat himself.

If he thought too hard about any of this he was going to crack again. Jordan used Ferros to shove the lizard back and away, jabbing the spike on the hammer's head into the creature's side.

Jordan smacked at the lizard again. He wasn't going to look behind him. He knew what was there and he wasn't going to look, as though somehow looking would make it real.

Al was doing a good job... a good... job. He obeyed orders, he tried to stay close and avoid attention. He tried so hard. In the end, it didn't matter all that much. He died all the same and there was nothing he or Nuru could do about it. At least it came swiftly. The tail impaling him through and before the blood could choke him, his heart already stopped and his body gone limp. Eyes lifelessly staring into the void of nothingness. So cold.
