She took a moment to catch her breath, she was in shape but all this cardio was kicking her butt. Sigrún had to fight the urge to look back. What added to her annoyance was the fact that she couldn't fly in here. There wasn't enough room for her wings, and it made more sense to walk then to waist energy flapping said wings to fly up vertically. The silence in her head was interrupted by a disappointed sounding voice. Disappointment - she'd heard disappointment many times in her life, and Tomoko had lost the reflex to flinch from the tone by then.
"I took nothing from you. I will give you nothing. I do not want your kingdom. I want Thackery back." she spoke aloud - she likely sounded foolish, but she had to remind herself that was why she was climbing.

He continued to bounce through the stairs, as a Tiefling, he has a good stamina. Probably because of all the escape training he took from Ofelia. Wait - Why he could still remember her? Nice! He laughed even though no one could hear, including him. AJ even started to hum a melody, a twisted one because he couldn't catch the pitch with his ears. More stairs to climb. Where're his friends? He needed to see them once before he vanished. Sigrún noticed Moriko making more headway up the steps so she took off after her to keep up. There was no way she was going to lose sight of Momo again. edit for hitting 100+ steps Once she got further up the stair way Sigrún had to stop to catch her breath and that's when she heard it again. This time what The Voice had to say made her a little sad. Curious new she kept on going. And then the voice just had to open it's mouth, mock her for wanting to fight against it's power. Well, that was the wrong thing to do, because Poke was pissed and she wasn't going to stop until she had reached the top. It angered her further to hear it speak about her taking powers away from others. She had done nothing of the sort. Well, except that Drogiam.... [[Entering from Tower Base]] Lumikki gasped as she pushed through, the sound of nothing suddenly assaulting her ears. Covering them quickly she still couldn't shake the feeling that she was here prematurely that she hadn't finished her task at hand. But what was even more damning was that she couldn't shake the feeling that there was something about that bird. When he had grabbed her for a split second all memories had escaped her, she felt safe, wanted...she felt loved. But that wasn't real, he didn't know her just like she didn't know him. Her ears dropped slightly as she saw the stairs that lay ahead. Oh sweet merciful god, this wasn't going to go well in this form. With ease Lumi shifted in to her natural form. It would be much quicker to climb these stairs in that fashion. Even while she tried to keep her head filled with the sounds she wanted there for her comfort - Erebus' voice, Remi's voice, Thackery's voice, even Ash's angry voice was there, as well as Jack's.. her mother's.... the old lullabies she would be sung.... the voice was back. Trying to make her feel ashamed of what she did.
"What you embraced, you have stolen." she continued to speak aloud, trying to sound brave - but her voice visibly wavered.

Harrison didn't feel too bad about turning on the Voice. That was the way it was, with positions of power. You kept it until the guys under you got restless.
It had shown him his death.
He bet it hadn't counted on anybody returning the favor.

When the voice spoke next, she suddenly launched as fish into the side of the tower at the words it spoke. No harm? No trouble?!?!
