Jordan nodded to Saliva, smiling faintly. Rep being nice to Melvin and setting him at ease - that had to be a first. He'd have to reward Rep later for the remarkable display of tact. "As always," he told Saliva, "let me know if you need anything; I'll arrange things."

The Silver was requesting a bath and a change of clothes - that was an easy enough request. "Harrison isn't back yet," Jordan said, smiling, "so you have some time to freshen up. I'll call the concierge and let her know; you can go to the information desk in the lobby to pick up a key for one of the hotel rooms. I'll have some fresh clothing delivered to the room. We appreciate your willingness to help; a shower and a change is the least we can do."

He took his phone out and tapped a number, then had a short conversation with someone on the other end of the line. Afterward, he slipped the phone back into his pocket and nodded to the Silver. "My name is Jordan Miller," he said. "Let the clerk know I sent you; they'll get you all set up."

Jordan nodded. "If you have questions or needs, please address them to me," he told Andrew. "Harrison is our Boss and our King, but he has gone to meet with the Voice. Until he returns, I am handling things here." He smiled faintly. "I am authorized to arrange most things."

Cee burst in the door, scowling and stomping and holding up the ends of her fine dress. All around her miasma clung and finally faded but she seemed pretty pissed, muttering about crystals and cocksuckers and mud and whatever other curses she could throw out.

She went into a side door and disappeared, Snap following dutiful and silent as always.

“I see. Thank you.” He turned and walked off to the clerk, telling him his name, and Jordan’s name and then went to the hotel. He tried to be quick about his shower and change. He left the old cloths and used his brother’s knife to adjust the undershirt. He left the jacket untouched over his wings, so they were no longer in sight. He stood out less now, that was good.

The silver returned to the casino about half an hour later looking clean, almost human and with his bag slung over his shoulder still. A far improvement from when he arrived.

"Well I can safely say, there's no one I could sell you out to that doesn't pretty much own you already and no reason to. I only like, sell people out who have made themselves useless or had it coming. I know what it feels like to be stabbed in the ******** back." he didn't think about those days so much now, he'd crawled out of that gutter. "But you are right like, never to be too comfortable anywhere, you are like, valuable."

"I kinna like how B0nez picked a rabbit for you. Its like that movie. Waterboat something or other where the rabbit at the start comes up and the boss guy is like "All the world will be your enemy, prince with a thousand enemies. But to kill you, first they need to catch you", you just. need to run really ******** fast."

Rep didn't drop his confident grin. "No one said the running had to be like, literal. You just gotta be careful and smart." His gaze dropped to his own mark, he hadn't even considered it, to him the choice of a dragon just seemed straightforward, expected, entitled. He hadn't thought about the potential meanings and puffed up a little more proudly as a result. "I guess he does.", he said, as if reaffirming this to himself somehow.

"Oh. Aye. If you like, want to go for a nap, there's plenty spare rooms up here. For erm. Guests. Or if you just want a blanket I can get you that too."
