Kiera stroked his head and smiled as she watched him fall asleep. Now things were going according to plan. Slipping out of bed, she tentatively stepped out of the room and down the stairs. Oh how clever she was, she remarked in a thought. Oh how clever she was to outwit everyone in the household so easily. Asher was now out on a wild goose chase, thanks to her false information she gave her. She knew Asher wouldn't be able to resist the bait Kiera laid ever so nicely for her. And whats-more is that she made it look so casual and uneventfully without malicious intent. Now Kiera was free to act as she wanted, without that dense demon in the way. Although with the small time gap that she had for tonight, maybe she only had enough space for planning. Tiptoeing across the rooms, she was now in the kitchen, slowly shoving the table out of it's spot and removing the rug that laid under it. It looked like normal floor boarding, in actuality. But as she crouched down to slip her fingers down the cracks, her ears pricked at the sound of creaking floor. She instantly spun around and stood up, to see Cyril leaning in the doorway with his arms folded. She continued to fold her arms across her chest defensively. "Sober?" She joked. This was probably the best to turn the suspicion off her for the moment. Cyril raised his eyebrows in genuine surprise, as he was holding back a nosebleed at what she was wearing. "Shouldn't I be askin' you tha'?" Kiera feared for a moment that someone may wake up before this conversation ended, but giggled apathetically. "That's a stupid answer, Cyril." Cyril moved a little closer, and Kiera didn't like it. "Ya' jus' look a lil'... Wha' you doin' up a' this time'o night?" Kiera's facial expression didn't change, however she did walk a little closer. The two were almost touching now, as Kiera wrapped around to Cyril's neck teasingly. "Night is the darkness' strongest time, would you deny it of even that?" Kiera looked him dead in the eyes now, and his body went a little stiff, as if he were prey in sight of the predator. Only then did he notice how her eyes shone in the low light. Every step he took back, she took another forward to him. "Ki... your.." He stuttered. Kiera grinned further and brought her lips to his ears. "... eyes?" Kiera then, in that moment, kissed him long and hard, until he fell back against the wall and knocked himself out. Kiera stood triumphantly over his weak human body and finally turned to finish what she came for. Lifting the floorboards, she unveiled steps down to a secret room under the cabin. This room shouldn't even exist, given the unpredictability of the marshes and the flooding that always occurred, and yet, still existed.

*Shortstraw wasn't to far into his sleep infact he woke up when he turned and his back scrapped the seem of the pillow. He shuddered and slowly got up to go tot eh bathroom. As he cameout he then noticed keria wasn't there. Keria not in bed. That wasn't a good sign. He slowly and carfully opened the door and looked down the stairs, finding cyril ont he floor sleeping. No that wasn't right, not right there he wouldn't. He krept down the stairs slowly and silently. No weapons to aid him if there was a enemy in the house, nothing he could use to defend himself. He wondered into the kitchen to find a underground passage. At first he wanted to turn arund and go right back up... but then his ceriousity got to him. What did keria have down there. And would she hate him if he went down there in the first place... he wondered.

There was some cussing coming from down the steps, then a couple of sparks. "Stupido merda. E 'la tua Kiera colpa che questo non funziona." When this Kiera got really pissed, she started cussing in Italian. Of course. She threw some papers on the ground and put something large and metallic on the dirty, festering wooden table in the middle of the very small room. It had dirt walls, contrary to the belief that there wasn't. It was a miracle that this place never got flooded. Although the stone floor didn't tell any lies. She picked up another piece of paper, nodded at it, then ripped it up and burned it in front of her, as well as all the other papers. She'd have to memorize all these things. She sighed as she walked over to the hanging light and switched it off, signalling she was about to come back up. Not so much of a successful session, however she did get a hold of where she was going to start.

*Shortstraw wondered if he sould show himself or not infront of her. He quickly went back up the rest of the stairs and gulped as he hid in a corner. And when she stepped back up and closed the hatch, the light would flick on and shortstraw would be standing there. "everything okay keria?" He asked, his vioce still alittle winy becuse of his back.*

Kiera blinked a couple of times at the light, looked down to Cyril, then back to Shortstraw. Holy ******** s**t. This wasn't supposed to happen. "Shouldn't you be asleep?" She started, making her voice minuscule and worthless. Then realized it'd be wise to shield her eyes, and she did. "I hope my working didn't wake you. Was I too loud?" Yes, this would work. But Cyril on the floor there, wouldn't. She should have put an empty bottle of alcohol in his hands. Yes, that would have made for a good laugh in the morning.

*Shortstraw shook his head, "i watched you yang. And no it's hard to sleep when my back is in so much pain..." he smiled, "though it's good pain it stil hurts like hell." He nodded becomeing serious again, "now what are you up too? Some sort of plan i see. I do hope its not something horrable only you could come up with." he relpled with a shy.*

Kiera licked her lips and no longer shielded her bright scarlet eyes. "Then shouldn't you expect something so horrible that only I could come up with it?" She giggled a little, then brought her hand up to her mouth and covered her grin. "No. For once, this doesn't involve you. Or that demon, or the poor boy lying on the floor there, nor the whore upstairs. But if any of you decide to get involved in this, it is at your own risk, of course." She smiled down at Cyril. "He found that out first hand. Next time I won't be so merciful." She licked her lips again. "Hmph. Figures. I thought you'd be out like a light. Seems I was wrong. Again. Stupri Kiera."

*Shortstraw shrugged, "Okay well if it dosn't have anything to with us then who does it have to do with. I mean i'm releaved you didn't slit my throught when i was alseep, and i am more then glad thats not your plan. But for the hell of it sinc eyour cought in the act I have to ask, "how many will die or suffer for all enternity? Also is this a revenge thing. I'm not going to ask who, i'm just asking the main things. If you answer i'll just right back up to bed. I mean i'm no threat to you, i know that. And i'm not trying to threaten you either. I'm just... cerious i guess. Alttle scared i addmit, but then again i just go a burn on my back from your flames so, thats to be expected." He nodded.

Kiera dragged her tongue across the inside of her cheek. "Curiosity killed the cat." She smiled, almost genuinely. "Fear not, little boy. I won't let anybody kill you. No one will steal that from me. Because I'm saving that delightful bounty for myself. I already told you I'm not going to kill you yet anyway. That'd get me nowhere with the Kiera you love." She brushed her hair off her eyes and sighed. "I have no intentions on telling you who this is planned for, however. As this is my business and you shouldn't be poking around in it like an annoying little lost puppy. How many will die? God only knows. Because I certainly don't."

*Shortstraw nodded* "Thats what i was afrade of. I fear your plan on killing the town, and yuji and ameile, expechally yuji. I know you hate him. And everything has a chain reaction remember that. Becuse no matter how hard i try, somehow everything loops, and i'll end up in the crossfire to take the hit. Wether it's planned or not." He leaned back on the wall and jumped, "OWWW!" he yelled as his eyes watered from the pain. He made a face and chukkled, "i'm not going to lean back anywhere for a long time." He chukkled and shied, "can you at least tell me when. And i don't mean soon, or later. I mean actully when your horrable plan will start were everyone will die becuse of sefish and petty thoughts you have in that oversized brain of yours." He slowly headed over to cyril, just to make sure he was okay.*

Kiera's smile escalated into an open mouthed grin. "Who's to say I'm going to kill the whole town? What have they ever done to me. One thing you seemed to have missed out about me Shortstraw, is that I never kill for no reason. I kill because things are weaknesses. Things are attacking me. And things have done me wrong. None of which the town are." She gripped her neck tight with her hand and leaned her own back against the wall, crossing her leg over the other. "I'm selfish and petty, now? And what happened to being nice to me, eh? I see how that plan worked out." She shook her head. "Jumping to conclusions gets you what you asked for. Maybe I should kill my father, my mother, the whole town, my half-sister, my other sister, my brother, my aunt, you, the others." She sighed. "And then that would be just boring. No, I'm making things more interesting than that. In contrast to your pathetic thoughts. I'm not going to kill the town, nor my family back at the castle. I have no intentions of that. They are disconnected from me as it is." She shut her eyes and leaned her head back. "And for a flicker back up in that room, I actually had hope that you'd actually come through with your words. Of course I was wrong. No wonder I never liked you in the first place. All you people are ever bound to do is let me down."

*Shortstraw patted her shoulder with a large smile, "nah i'm just messing with you to see how open you would be to me. night." truth was he was only seeing how open she would be, how much she whould talk to him. Even she would have to admit, he got her there. it wasn't about anything inthe room, he would keep his promeses, he wasn't even challanging her. He just wanted to know if she would tell him to not worry aobut it and leave it at that, which he would have went to bed even then, or if she would talk to him. She did talk to him wether she relized it or not, and that is what the point of it all was about. he had full understanding now, course he did then aswell but she tested him int he past, why not test her. he chukkled as he entered his room, "All that talking and acting really makes me tired." He fellforword ont he bed, "i'm going to have a long week with my back like this. I think i sould take a vacation. Nah." he closed his eyes and was soon out like a light.*

Kiera's smile grew as he left the room. Once she was clear of ears, she crouched down next to Cyril. "So you like bait too, Shortstraw?" She brushed a strand of hair from Cyril's face. "Now be a good little woodpecker and poison your food with your infected beak." She said softly as she finally stood up and moved the rug and table back to where they were originally. She then went back to Cyril and sat right in front of him, before singing in a hushed tone. "One mischievous little woodpecker, Another day, pecking your holes, Ruining the woods, tree wrecker, The angry old forest god turned your poor beak into a poison knife, Poor little wood pecker, your nesting holes are all tainted, Your food with toxins rife, Touch your friends, and they all will die falling at your feet, Oh, sad little woodpecker, Poisonous tears, shining brightly, as they stream down your cheeks.." Once the lullaby was over, Kiera fell back and fainted.

A month and a half later:
The brotherhood had already trained under the hand to hand combat, and was now going into the weapons side of things. Signals and stuff was also to be tought.
Eve had just givin birth to her doughter only three days ago, and now the doughter Ava was already the size of shortstraw. She was ageing extreamly quick. And she held many of her mothers many tallents and a few odd ones. However we will begin back into our story as keria is suddenly hit with a vision,
they are in town, her, shortstraw, ava and eve, all headed to the castle for somthing, two men appear and they group walk directly to them... then the visiton faded.*

Kiera almost fell into her bowl of cereal, and Cyril had to catch her head. She pushed the bowl forward and put head head gently on the table. Cyril pulled a face. "Do I ev'n wanna know?" Kiera whined. "My head huuuuurts." ..One mischievous little woodpecker... Cyril and Asher both laughed at her, and Mai jumped onto her lap, propping his front paws up on the table so he could lick Kiera's cheek. He then went for the bowl of cereal. Kiera just sat there, moping, with Mai's tail flapping in her face. Asher had to shove Mai off the table before she nudged Kiera's head. "At least eat your cereal." Kiera yawned and shut her eyes. "Not hungry." Asher frowned. "I swear you're a toddler reincarnate sometimes."
