Selphie nodded happily as she mentioned that his Pawniard would have to go easy on her, although that just seemed to be a guy in his pride speaking. "Aw, thanks!" In all actuality, Selphie decided that she was going to be the one who was going to go easy on him. By the looks of his Pawniard, it probably hadn't been in any actual battles yet, meaning that fighting it would be relatively easy for a battle-hardened Pokemon, although Pawniard was a steel type so Deino and Pidgey wouldn't do any good, but Croagunk could cause some serious damage because of the fact Pawniard was both Steel- and Dark- type.
Selphie quickly shook the nerdy thoughts out of her head, deciding not to think of sizing her opponent up before he had an opportunity to see her Pokemon. "I've never fought against wild Pokemon unless I intended to catch them. I always find myself with people who want to fight me. Maybe I just look weak." Selphie giggled, although she didn't mind playing the weak bystander, it just added more to the shock factor when she actually did get in a fight.

╚════════════════════╝ “...Why do you even bother you're going to lose...” "To be honest you look like you know exactly what your doing...you look like you have seen your fair share of battles but i do know this for a fact when my Razor here becomes as tough as this blade on my side he will be invincible..." it seemed he was hinting to the fact that he plans to train the Pawniard with his sword "Did you know that the sword can help with Defense, Speed, Accuracy, and Evasiveness this is why i like my little Razor here" Razor looked up at Seth and smiled as they were walking "Pawniard! PAWN!!!" he seemed really excited for the dull complement his trainer had given him. Seth looked back at Selphie "hmmm i know we just meet and all but haha your actually kinda cute too maybe thats why?" his awkward mentioning of her outer beauty made Razor do a face palm as if he seemed to react to what Seth just said as Seth laughed awkwardly again.. Selphie sighed and stretched her arms as she walked down the road following Seth. "I guess my reputation precedes me." Selphie folded her arms and decided not to talk about how she got into the top four of the Kanto region. "I guess training with a sword is useful... If you know how to use one. Although don't rely too much on training with a sword. While it works on evasion there are plenty of moves out there that are really hard to dodge, like earthquake." Selphie didn't really know what she was saying at this point. She was supposed to the dumb girl who didn't know how to battle, or at least that was the persona she was aiming for. "Erm, did you just call me cute?" Selphie blushed a red color. She guess that solved the question about whether or not he was gay.

Selphie smiled and decided to answer Seth's question. "Never part of the Elite four, but I did win against them." Perhaps it was just the fact that he called her cute that made her reveal a little bit about herself. "I wonder when we're going to get there. We've been walking for a little bit now." Selphie yawned, sleepy from all the walking.

╚════════════════════╝ “...Why do you even bother you're going to lose...” Seth also noticed it was how she carried herself confidently around everywhere she seemed to go even though he had just met her but by this conversation he had wished they had met before.
Seth looked up from the walk way "Oh hey what do you know haha just little bit longer i can see the pokemon center from here" he had noticed since had called her cute her attitude had changed to the hardcore trainer she once was "i think i like this attitude more so then your little dumb routine you had going on" by this statement it seemed obvious that Seth doesn't like stupid people Location: Vormund Pokemon:

Selphie yawned with relief as she saw the Pokémon Center. She didn’t realize how far she actually walked from town but it was nice to actually be back in it now. “That’s good. I really didn’t want to get lost again. It’s a good thing I met you.” Selphie smiled warmly before listening to the next part of his speech. “Hmm, I guess I don’t let it on, but I do know a thing or two about Pokémon. I was actually travelling with a couple of people and they relied on me for some valuable information about Pokémon. It just helps that I have a lot of experience with these kinds of things.” Selphie shrugged, “So I take it you’re not a fan of um, naïve people?”

Selphie shrugged because at one point she didn't know what she was doing, but that was the process of learning. People get stronger through experiences and learning from their mistakes, but that wasn't something that needed to be debated. Everyone was raised differently and it wouldn't be fair for her to judge Seth. "I guess you have your views on that. Let's go inside." Selphie walked up to the Pokemon Center before entering the automatic doors.
Since she didn't have a Pokemon that needed to be healed, she waited for Seth to get all of his Pokemon taken care of.

╚════════════════════╝ “...Why do you even bother you're going to lose...” He was actually happy she didn't try and scold him for his beliefs since again it was just the way he was raised and she had asked it but he walked into the Pokemon center after her and walked straight up to Nurse Joy, put Razor back into his friend ball, and handed Chansey his pokeballs to heal his pokemon.
Seth felt a sort of weight lifting off of his chest when he went to go sit next to Selphie waiting for his pokemon "soo...tell me Sel why is it...you have this Persona if you will...there are several people on this island that i have heard with back ground far worse or in this case i guess better then yours why is it you hide..." he had asked not expecting an answer except for silence since he was used to that with females Location: Vormund Pokemon:

Selphie looked at Seth slightly confused. What kind of persona was he talking about? She didn't have multiple personas if that was what he was referring to. "I guess I just don't want people judging me based off my experiences as a trainer." Selphie shrugged, "I think people are naturally more interested in getting to know me whenever they find out that I'm a seasoned trainer. Of course, with getting to know me, they don't want to know anything about me, they just want to know silly things like what Pokemon I used in another region and what fame was like." Selphie brushed her hair with her fingers as she thought about how that answer could solve his question. "Most people that get that high in terms of strength with Pokemon lose their way and get power-hungry. I just never lost sight of my goals which was to have fun." Selphie nodded to herself. In reality though, she knew very well she could've gave in and continued focusing on training her other Pokemon, but that wouldn't have been a challenge in terms of coming to a new region.

╚════════════════════╝ “...Why do you even bother you're going to lose...” Seth smiled surprising as he doesn't normally smile to people "I have great respect for you Sel...you are what it seems to mean to be a good trainer...not to over work your pokemon, not to slack off from your job, and most important it seems like you can have perfect balance between your two favorite things..." Seth then reached into his Jacket and pulled out a 7-Holed Ocarina "this was a gift from my mother she told me that if i thought i found someone worth respecting i should play them the Song of the Sinjoh Ruins..." As he had said he had started to play this magnificently hand-crafted instrument with such a beautiful sound coming from it. He continued to play this song for everyone in the Pokemon Center to hear and let it relax their stressed souls. By that effect it seemed the surrounding pokemon as well was relaxed not sleepy or anything just perfectly relax and seemed more pumped up to do things and he continued to play Location: Vormund Pokemon:

Selphie was a bit shocked to actually see Seth smile. She didn't even think he smiled whenever she introduced herself to him, but now that he was finding out her reasons for being a trainer, it seemed like he had a completely different opinion on her than he had before.
As she was about to speak, she stopped herself short whenever Seth pulled an ocarina from his person. She didn't even have to ask what it was for before he began to explain it and by the looks of it, it must've been another family heirloom.
Selphie listened to him play a melody of sorts and waited until he was done before she began speaking. "That was amazing. I never took you as the kind of guy who played instruments." Selphie smiled before hearing the nurse at the table say that Seth's Pokemon were done. "Looks like your Pokemon are all healed up."

╚════════════════════╝ “...Why do you even bother you're going to lose...” Seth seemed to smile again and this time it was from her words it seemed like he was opening up to her which was weird he hadn't felt this way in a long time. he had got up to retrieve his two odd pokeballs and released his Pawniard right after and it seemed Razor liked that and he stretched "pppaaawwwnnn!!" he had said and he fully stretched he seemed more like Seth every time he saw Seth as Seth was stretching as well "i am glad you had liked the song Selphie and honestly my mother only gave me the Ocarina just so i would have something to do she never expected me to play it either...which is ironic that this was the very same instrument i played at their funeral..." Seths smile faded into what looked like a confused smirk as it seemed like he was happy but obviously sad Location: Vormund Pokemon:

Selphie ran her fingers through her hair nervously as Seth mentioned that the ocarina was something played in a funeral. She never lost her parents, both of them still lived in Olivine City doing who knows what. "I'm sorry to hear that..." Selphie looked at the Pawniard and noted how much it was beginning to resemble Seth in terms of the actions it takes. She didn't know if it would be appropriate or not to change the subject, but decided it would only be better if she did, at least until he was ready to talk about these things because in all honesty, the very fact that he mentioned the funeral seemed like a slip of the tongue. "You ready to go? The first gym leader uses normal type Pokemon, but I have a Pokemon to take care of those."
