Kiahpup Kyle barely paid any attention to Sil's discomfort, only letting up a small amount when she started complaining about her arm. Once they'd stopped, he'd turned back and nodded, holding both hands up. "I'm positive that I will not step on your toes. And my hands will only go where you want them~," he said suggestively, wiggling his fingers a bit. He waited until she gave him the okay, as he wasn't too keen on the idea of getting beaten to a pulp during a party.
((My parents managed to break my printer and theirs is out of ink, which means I have to print at Kinko's... So infuriating : I ALSO LOVE MEEEEE. ))
She didn't move right away, gazing skeptically at the young man who seemed entirely too eager considering how cocky he had been in his dancing status before. Luckily for him, his suggestive finger wiggle was so unbelievable that Sil assumed it could only be a joke, so she laughed. "Okay then, but I'd you do step on my toes I will crush an important body part of yours," she said matter-of-factly, letting him use his imagination as to which body part it might be. Finally, she moved over and placed one of her small hands onto his broad shoulder, her other ungloved hand waiting expectantly for his. The music had slowed to a nice waltz step.
Mishka Domashev always found it difficult to find some time to himself. With Exorcists flowing steadily in and out, often coming home worn from battle and battered and beaten just by the elements the infirmary always had their work cut out for them. It hadn't helped that a rather nasty cold had been circulating now at the weather was staring to cool with hints of fall. It wasn't life threatening, but the sleep deprived scientists never took care of themselves properly and seemed to be coming into the hospital in sniffling, whining droves looking for symptom alleviation not created by Komui. By the time he had finished doling out orders and lecturing on sleeping, eating and smoking habits, it had been rather latte in the evening. However, throughout the day he hadn't forgotten what day it was, and as soon as he was clear he shed his white jacket and headed down to the ballroom for th celebrations.
The gift he had for the you woman being celebrated had been with him the whole of the day. It was a slender box decorated neatly in cream and rose print paper that just nearly matched the decor. Thinking he had no time to change, he was thankful that he usually dressed smartly for a European gentlemen. As usual he was dressed in a pair of clean dark slacks, a pristine white shirt covering his broad chest and a blue waistcoat a lovely powder color that edged towards the hue of his stormy eyes. A good natured smile touched his lips, and for once he rolled down his sleeves and buttoned the cuff links to be a little more prop than he generally found comfortable. Mishka's eyes etched around for the birthday girl, hoping he had not missed her.

Liv was still in the party spirit, despite that the evening had begun to die down, the later hours approaching. Some of the guests had left for bed, and as the numbers dwindled a little, Liv had started to relax much more than at the beginning of the party. She certainly had to thank Hyber for becoming such a distraction, and by the time she had danced with her young new friend, she was ready to spend some time with her needy daughter. Luci had ended up insisting on Liv taking Lavi's place in the memory game, because how dare Luci not finish when the little animals needed to get back to their mothers. The game had finally been wrapped up, Luci claiming the victory as usual. Insisting that it was hard work helping the baby animals, she had dragged Liv over to the punch again.
"Alright Luci, alright," Liv started to pour her some of the non-alcoholic punch.

Kyle stood there, awkwardly wiggling his fingers until she started to laugh, finally ceasing the action with a large grin. "Don't worry about it so much.~ Though it may come as a sur- oh...," he cut himself off at that, staring at her in horror and fighting the urge to take a step away from the young woman. He snapped out of it when she got into position and took her hand, putting his free hand on her upper back and giving her a look that seemed to ask if that was acceptable. With that done he started moving through the steps, a little hesitant at first, but slowly the rhythm came back to him. He was very careful to make sure that his feet never got closer to hers than necessary. "See, I'm not so bad, right?"

((iPad typos xD welcome home. I was making dinner and am now eating itttt.))
When Mishka spotted the beautiful young mother by the punch bowl, heat rose to his neck and face at a speed that likely gave his nerves whiplash. The dress she was clothed in was lovely and flattering, showing more skin than he was accustomed seeing on young women whom were not in hospital gowns. For a moment he was a little agape, not moving as he simply just took the sight of her in. It took a moment for the color in his face to abate-- it was only sight, but it was enough to make him wait to approach her. He had almost missed Luci standing there enjoying her punch as he slowly strolled up to the pair with the gift tucked neatly behind his back.
"S'dnem rozhdeniya," he said gently, smiling warmly at the two young wine who had become so close to her heart. "I'm sorry I come so late in celebration. Please forgive me," he handed her a small bundle if three roses, which were wrapped nicely where the thorns could not poke into the skin of her delicate fingers. It was reminiscent of the night they met, for the Valentine's date. "You and Ms. Luci look most beautiful this evening."

As they started to glide, Sil easily slid into the flow, finding that swaying in dance always seemed to come easily to her. Her steps were light, allowing Kyle to lead and cue her with his own steps. It took a little adjustment, as Kyle was someone she had not danced with before, but she found the experience far more satisfactory than she had imagined. "You're actually pretty good," Sil said, her tone and expression hinting to how surprised she actually was. "Where did you learn to dance? I never imagined Nebraska as much of ah... Waltzing place." She regarded him curiously, easily able to continue the dance while having conversation, not needing to count herself. It was rather natural, like breathing, even the odd feel of skirts swishing around her knees.

Liv hadn't noticed Mishka approaching, but the moment his warm, gentle voice met her ears, she was unable to suppress a large grin as her heart skipped a beat. She handed the punch off to Luci, and it took everything she had not to throw her arms around his neck as she turned to face him. Immediately, she had a hard time keeping the color from reaching her own cheeks, his charming smile and cool eyes the most welcome sight all evening, "No, it's okay," she shook her head and kept looking at him for a moment before breaking her gaze and dropping it to the flowers in his outstretched hand.
"Oh, they're lovely~ And there's three...just like the night we met," her face lit up with an even brighter smile as she took them, her gloved fingertips grazing his in the process. "Thank you..," she looked up again and nervously brushed at her hair for a second as he complimented her.
Luci watched the entire greeting, standing a bit behind her mother. As she continued to watch the two, her eyebrows raised with interest and she sipped her punch. Finally, she took a little step forward and lowered her cup, clearing her throat, "Ahem..."
(( I actually usually do that with my food...because the internet it too interesting to eat it right away.. >____>; ))

(( The Internet is a horrible distraction for a hungry tummy... XD I usually try to stay away from my computer when I eat because it'll be forgotten on a plate on my lap if I'm anywhere near it. ))
Though he wasn't the best judge when it came to dancing, Kyle couldn't help but wonder if Sil practiced the activity often, or if she was just very good at it. "Uh... It was kind of a team effort between my mother and my grandparents...," he managed, trying to focus on dancing as well as answering her questions, "I wasn't all that excited, but they thought I should learn. Though my grandpa was right... It is the perfect way to attract the ladies~." It took a few seconds for him to register her mistake, but once he'd made sure all of his steps were right he corrected it, "And I used to live in Minnesota. Isn't Nebraska the place with all the corn?"
