When she came too, she saw she was trapped, and above and all around the towers grew. She couldn't move, and that alone terrified her. Her hooves were rooted, and she whinnied and tried to break free.
It was the crackling that made her look up, and the towers that rose and grew, before they started to crumble. Icicles clattered, falling down and breaking against the sides, shooting shards all about. She felt the crystals on her flank, neck, and prickle her skin. Others cuts, sliced like razors.

Danny lost her footing as the quaking shook the island, cracks and fissures appearing in the ground. She took a single step back, putting her back to back with Roch, a single hand on Amphi, just in case.
"Roch ..." Danny said, not really sure what to say. She batted a few away with her arms, but a shard slipped through her guard, slashing across her chest. The deep red liquid oozed out, but quickly turned into a strange blueish crystal. It began spreading across her chest, almost like an armor for her bare skin.
She hit it a few times, scratching at her skin, attempting to pry it off. "What- What is this stuff?!" she said, clawing more worriedly. She fell off balance, knocking into Roch's back. "Roch- Help!" She didn't know what to do, what to say. This ... this thing was growing out of her, and rapidly. It was spreading now, across her shoulders, tiny fingers of crystal promulgating across her tan skin, replacing the healthy bronze with a shiny layer of blue. Even Danny could tell this wasn't right.

Suddenly, it seemed as if the shards were growing more aggressive and taking on a life of their own, attacking everyone no matter which side they were on. Imryn couldn't help but feel panic as she tried to find Mitzi in the fray and fly up above the crowd. But no matter where she flew, the crystals were all around her, snaking out and slicing up her skin. If that wasn't bad enough, it seemed that the were growing out of her wounds. Jacking hell. They were all going to die weren't they... and all for those jacking demon ponies. OOC IMRYN IS NOT IN PVP! My character is attacking this Zone! Amphi had stuck close to the reaper and the fire demon duo as they were swarmed with hunters all around. She ached, pale and tired from the lack of her FEAR and from the labs where they had set the parasite in her.
There was nothing more useless then the mermaid who couldn't even manage to fight off attacks. It was worst when she was using Roch and Danny as shields as she scrambled around, avoiding more hunters.
Until the earth quaked underneath them. She saw the rise of crystals like a tidal wave, engulfing the students in its wake. She watched as the crystals shook, taking hold of her. She looked to Danny whose chest was blooming the same crystals and fended them off as much as she could. NO call of help came from her though as she paused in her fight with the rocks.
Was there a figure among them!?!? She worked faster, attempting to free herself so she could help Danny too. OOC AMPHI IS NOT IN PVP! Imryn furiously scratched at her arms, trying to get the crystal clusters off of her and keep them from growing out of her limbs and torso. Though it was a losing battle, despite the fact that it really was the only thing keeping her from giving in to panic and fear. Fear of never going home again... never seeing Amity, of failing before she ever really got a change to try making a difference in what seemed to be a futile, never ending fight. She glanced around quickly, still trying to stay one step ahead of the masses that continue to shoot and contort through the air. But something seemed different now. Almost as if there was someone there in the crystal, a figure that one couldn't quite make out. Emotions were running high, and the sightings of this new 'figure' only seemed to add more to the mix. OOC IMRYN IS NOT IN PVP! My character is attacking this Zone! For a second you see something else. A figure perhaps, the noises of battle - anger - you almost lose yourself to this feeling - 10 HP ~~~~~~ (Doing Death solo in same post since I didn't reserve an extra before the conclusion.) There was no energy left and no where else to run. Panic took over as the crystal swelled up and started to encase her body in mid-air, clawing at the mass until she couldn't anymore. There really wasn't much to think about. Sure there were some regrets, but she'd done what she'd thought was right by her friends. The only thing that stuck in her mind was that this wasn't going to happen again. Hunters were a threat, yes, but those damn demon ponies seemed hell bent on getting revenge and making things worse. Getting revenge was one thing.. but she couldn't help but feel that they knew this was going to happen just before the crystal completely over-took her....

He could feel the fragments starting to form, growing over his cheek. "AMPHI!" he bellowed, "get closer!!" When the world had been black one moment, now it was white. Too much crystal, and it felt like when it snowed. A world of white, but the light caught and blinded. There was something there. A figure, and Calder called out. "Christof?! Amrita??!!!"
No. This figure didn't bring the sense of warmth and love than his friends. This figure was standing there, and he only felt a degree of hatred at their presence. Not just their neglect to save him, but them showing now when he was unable to do anything.

The figure didn't stand in her vision long, which was dimming again. The crystals only grew further, covering her back and crawling up her neck, leaving just her head above the rising crystals, like being just above the tides before sinking.

Between the light and dark, between the crystals that grew up her neck, past her face, and just below her eyes, she felt the anger consume as quickly as the crystals, and the figure in the and dark remained, distant and watching, until it all went black at last.

The crystalline armor had wrapped itself around her arms now. It wasn't a slow creepy, it was a quick cracking, splitting noise that spread down her body. Her arms were frozen, but the crystal had yet to reach her legs. Her arms were stuck solidly to her chest, forever frozen in the position of her attempting to claw the crystal off. She couldn't even hug her friends goodbye.
The weight of the crystals brought her to the ground. She was gasping for breath, choking as the crystals wrapped around her lungs, solidifying them and keeping air from getting in them. Her heart squeezed, but the crystals quickly had that too. She gagged, trying to get air, but nothing, nothing came. Just more choking.
What she would give for one more hug. Just to be wrapped up on Roch's papasan, talking about stupid things like how much punch he could drink in one sitting, or how pretty Amphi's pearls looked in her hair. Stupid high school conversation.
She staggered up to her feet, but then collapsed again onto her knees. She could only see Amphi and Roch out of one eye, the other frozen over with a shiny blue crystal. She tried to say something, tried to scream- anything, but nothing came out. She was as mute as Amphi. Danny looked like a hideous mutation, half flame demonness and have frozen over blue. Like a patchwork gone horribly, horrrible wrong.
It was slow, so slow and painful, this process.
The lack of oxygen had her free eye going blurry. Things blacked out, small spots appearing in her vision as her brain and eyes reeled from lack of oxygen. She didn't get any last words, no profession of love, no words of direction. Just choked, frozen seizures.
This was just disappointing. Nothing but disappointing. She'd survived whatever poison Allan fed her just to end up here, dead by her best friends. This was worse than before. She had no hope of making it out. Not even the hope of disappating.
Rikki flashed through her mind before it ended. It was short though, the memory she was given. Just a smile, that was it. That was all her brain allowed before seizing up entirely.
When all was said and done, only a statue remained, Danny curled up on the ground with her arms on her chest. It was pitiful, really. Not the powerful, headstrong demon that remained before. Just a small memoir of what she used to be. A statue.
Dead.

Amphi shuddered as the cool crystals kept spreading. She heard the call of Roch though, her hands scraped on the crystal as she pushed herself up so she could get to him. Her hand clutched onto his vest, her face filled with fear.
And when he used his body to shield her and Danny, she silently screamed, crystals falling on top of them.
It was like a horror movie gone wrong. All she could see was the rock's swamping them, all she could hear was the silent calls of encased students...She turned to pull Danny into a hug with her, only to see the flame demon fully encased in her crystal coffin.
Her lips mouthed Danny as she continued to fight the crystals. Her eyes whipped back and forth from her friend to Roch.
