He gently hugged her back and smiled a little more as he heard her. "thank you Annie...but you dont have to protect me...i wouldnt forgive myself if you got harmed trying to help me"he said. Though he spoke those words, he was glad Annie had said them. Ever since he was little, he was always protecting others. "thank you Annie...you dont know how much hearing you say that means to me..."he said before looking at the waiter and smiling. "hmm...a mocha sounds interesting...whats in it?"he asked, having never had one before. Its not cold, and it has chocolate in it. " Her eyes lit up like stars, but returned to normal as she turned back to him. " But theres more things than just that. "sounds interesting...wait...theres more than just mocha?"he asked, tilting his head. He had never been around any coffee places until now, so this was all new to him. The waiter had already given up and went to a different table in the middle of her explaining. " Oh. Well, she left. " Annie laughed nervously, wondering if it took to long. " But, we can just wait a little bit till their done. " ----------------------------------------

When he saw the waiter walk away, he looked at Annie apologetically. "sorry...i didnt mean to take so long..."he said, scratching the back of his head and looking down. When she said they could wait a bit, he looked up. " Annie laughed at herself, knowing that there were over a thousand different kinda coffes. The waiter came back, and they sighed. " You can go first this time, Asakura. "hmm...still curious as to what a mocha tastes like...i guess i'll try that..."he said. "im not really that interesting...i grew up in a traditional japanese village, protecting the inhabitants from kishin when i could manifest my two katana..."he told her as if it was nothing special. "ever since i found out i was a katana, i could see souls...heh...its funny...if i had known i was supposed to consume those kishin eggs, i wouldnt have needed to attend the DWMA"he said, chuckling. "i graduated when i was 14 and never had a partner before you...i know my soul resonance technique and i can manipulate ice and lightning, traits that will be transferred to you when you wield me"he continued, smiling a little. "i dont have a last name and i cant think of any good ones so i guess i have to wait until im either given one by somebody, or until i get married...though the first ones more likely to happen since i cant find a girlfriend"he chuckled again and thanked the waiter as their coffee arrived. "so what about you? --------------------------------------- Annie was actually fond of his little story. " Oh! You don't have a last name? Same here. " Annie sighed, and sipped her mocha. " I was always the cool and laid back one, and always stood up for my sister, Carol, is she'd ever get into a fight or picked on. " Annie sighed. " Bad part is though, during a school day I went berserk and basically burned a whole school down, killing almost half the people in it due to madness. " Which I will forever regret. She thought. " I am a fire user, but I mainly have moves that are offensive than defensive. " Star perked up then. " I got " Fire Star " from just being a lover of fire, and I can't remember the other thing. " She sipped her mocha again. " I attended the DWMA for...2 years now? And I plan on becoming the best meister and fire user in the world! " She knew that she was a bit cocky, but it didn't matter to her. Last name....last name.... " I know the perfect last name! Hikaru. Asakura Hikaru. " ----------------------------------------
