Derek was walking around the cafeteria talking to patients and making sure they were ok and didn't need anything he walked over to Grey and the woman and looked down at them "You guys doing ok?" he asked it was his first time on a day shift, he use to always work nights and so now he was going to have to learn peoples names and faces but thats why he was put on day shift cause he was good with that and to possibley make friends as a he was a patient as well.

Derek looked down at the girl "No worries." he said and put the pen in his pocket then turned to the girl "Your Kaley....right?" he asked as he looked at her she seemed like a bright cheery girl in a way "Im Derek Hale, I use to work night but they switched me to days now no need to call me Nurse Hale.... honestly that sounds weird just Call me Derek if you need anything." he said with a small smile, that you could tell was fake he was still depressed about he son being taken away from him

Kaley smiled, wiping any leftover tears from her eyes. She hoped she didn't look like a complete mess.
"It's nice to meet you Derek." she said with a smile. "I'll make sure to call you if I need it."

Derek nodded at her "Well it was nice meeting you." he said as he turned to another doctor near by and they began to speak, as they were talking the doctor spoke as if he was speaking to a patient Derek nodded then put down the clip bored ad lifted his scrubs up to reveal a stiched up gash from the side of his navel to just underneath his ribs the doctor examened it and nodded to him then sent him on his way Derek then walked past Kaley again and smiled at her as he walked on down the hall

Kaley looked at this with surprise and curiousity. She returned his smile when he walked away and down the hall to the dorms. She wasn't sure what to think of that.
Then she remembered what she was doing and hurried after him. Her room was that way too. She followed him until she reached her door. She glanced at him before entering, still curious

Derek stopped walking "I can feel you gaze on me." he said with a slight laugh then turned around "Is there something you would like to know or need help with?" he asked her then walked towards her door and stopped just at the door way, he looked at her with his cool green gray eyes

Olsen made sure that Emma was in the right placing before letting go. "It's best to do it in the exercise room. There are mats that you can fall on and bars to help you out." He added. He had always been looking out for Emma and learned were everything in the hospital was.

Darlene smiled at her goof boyfriend just eating down as much as his mouth would let him at a single time. The woman took another bite slowly. She had become weary of food since she started to throw up. She had done her best to hide it. "My body can take it. I'm not a broken doll goof. I just can't walk." She answered him. Why did Cruz get the hard to deal with patients. "We'll stop with so many pills once we found the right set, but if you don't take your pills then we wont know when we have it." He told the man. That was the hard part. They would need to try and try some more. There were so many different types and potency. "Well we'll let you out, but what's in it for me? You have to make a deal with me." He offered him.

"Oh that." he said as he pulled his scrubs up again to show her "I was in the army positioned in Afghanistan and wast stabbed as a last resort by an afghanistan solider." he said to her and put down his scrubs "Yes im also a patient here, for this and other things." he said with a week smile "Just like Doctor Olsen would say...Every one has scars physical and mental."

Donnie didnt move he just sat there on the ground "Im sorry." he said as he stood up and looked at Cruz he looked at the pills on the floor then Cruz he then walked over and sat on his bed he didn't say anything bu just stared at the floor

"no not really i don't do much but make sure that every is ok." he said then nodded to her and turned to leave he gave his clipboard to the front desk then walked to the Staff lounge to change to his normal clothes he was buy his locker, and in ther by himself when he grabbed his wallet and took the picture of his son out he leaned his head on the locker after closing it and had one arm raised and resting on the lockers as he looked at the picture tears ran down his face and he hit the lockers. he then turned around and slumped to the floor with his legs up he rested his arms on his knees and hung his head down

Kaley cleaned her face and neck. She felt hotand sticky and realized her close were soaked with sweat from her panic attack. She decided to just take a quick shower.
However she found a problem when she looked in her closet. The laundry hadn't come yet and she worn all her long sleeves shirts. All that was left was a few tanks and T's. Wearing either would show all the ugly scars on her arms. It seemed she had little choice.
She pulled it an and wrapped her scarf around her neck. Kaley walked into the common area while slow step. She didn't like people to see them. She tried not to show how exposed she felt.
