Youkai Saint Parth Makeo Yeah. So many good games for both consoles. It reminded me why i always bought nintendo games. Bayonetta 2 Pikmin 3 Super Mario land 3D wiiu (Which by the way is what they should of done for 4 player platformers) Mario and Luigi dream team Pokemon X and Y Wiiu Brawl with Megaman in fact, It's hard to name them all by hand. Bayonetta 2... I really want to try that game!! I LOVE Bayonetta rofl better get a WiiU then, cause im pretty sure its WiiU exclusive cool I love what they did with Flandre, but Patchy is such a b***h, and i would have liked to tape koakuma's mouth shut

If I ever buy another console (which I might not and just become a computer gamer instead!), it might be a Wii U. =w= I'm honestly getting fed up with Sony and Microsoft's petty wars. 'Sides, so many of their games and series are becoming so freaking dark and serious, I'm starting to miss the days of lighthearted gaming.
Y'know, before senseless the bloodshed and gore, gratuitous sex and fan service and dark, dreary ends of the world or life-long quests for vengeance.
Gimmie a freakin' flute and let me stomp on some turtles, plox.

Pray4Answer If I ever buy another console (which I might not and just become a computer gamer instead!), it might be a Wii U. =w= I'm honestly getting fed up with Sony and Microsoft's petty wars. 'Sides, so many of their games and series are becoming so freaking dark and serious, I'm starting to miss the days of lighthearted gaming. Ah it was good to go old-game hunting today brought back some good memories ^^

My thoughts from Touhou 13.5 = THEY ARE CANON!! *shot*
(I bet Pray can guess what I'm thinking of ninja )

The odd thing about video games is not really it's trend, but rather the so called themes.
There were plenty of good "war" games way before Call of Duty was made.
games like Contra for example are War games. You are essentially just fighting in a war through the basic story and it's loads of fun with difficulty. I wouldn't blame a game type over the themes of most games.
This is possibly why I am looking more forward to WiiU and 3ds. Because they are in a core a Video Game. Bayonetta 2 may have a 'dark' theme but it's all in fun. Even the characters show it (Which maybe why the new DMC is so horrible and grim while the others were fun.)
Fun is a keyword. If we want to have a game where we wanted to cut our wrists, we would want to play indie games mostly.
Reason why we all here love Touhou as well. Despite the Story or lack of for each entry, it's all in good fun. Not like there is something riding on the fate of the world so much as it's the story of a shrine maiden just bringing order to Gensokyo every now and again with her friend Marisa and other humans who decide to join them on their journey.
Again, nothing too grim even when a theme may seem heavy. Jokes are to be had, and the characters all have fun!
Do not blame the type of game, blame those that want to be "Dark" and "Edgy"
Yeah, Dark and Edgy is really good...and yet Wow still has a ton of players and they have freaking pandas! (Actually, they did go a bit darker for 5.4 patch with what the war getting harder. But before that, it was more or less fun)
I am done with Zombies.
I am done with games like "last of us"
I am done with Emo "You should feel bad about this character you hate"
And I am done with developers just putting in swears to make their game appeal to an older audience.
Okay, then why am I still playing Monster Hunter when it's meant for Teens? Because it's FUN!

Godric Testarossa What was so bad about the Last of us? Besides the Zombies? I plan on getting it next month. Sorry for the reply so late. I had some things to work on as well as the posts. Anyways, the game is not "Bad" bad but it's been done before. It's just trying to be something it's not when it's clearly the same. Despite the aspect of Zombie and the predictable ending (Which by the way wasn't that big of a shock really) I just felt...bored. It wasn't THAT exciting. It wasn't like Metal Gear Solid (I know...but MGS still had good gameplay as what it is) The game WOULD of been better in my eyes if it didn't have the Zombie s**t in it. We got Dead Island, Dead Rising, Zombie Horde Modes, Zombie DLC, Zombie this and Zombie That... It would of been far better if it was just about "The last remaining people on the world" type of game where all they fought against were other humans and NOT ******** ZOMBIES! (sorry...just really, i am tired of using Zombies in video games at this pont) It just felt like they remade "The Walking Dead" Video Game but removed a majority of the plot, made it two main characters and just tossed it years after the events... It's boring. I want something fresh- OH MY ******** GOD! THE WONDERFUL 101! OMFG! OH GOD YES! MONSTER HUNTER 4 AND FREE TO PLAY MMO! GIMMIE! Holy Crap...MARIO KART 8 LOOKS SICK! And though Mario Kart has been through much, it remains to be an amazing kart racer. Now adding in new elements every now and again (Though Double Dash is still my favorite) What I am trying to get at is...I already played The Last Of Us somewhere before or saw some movie/show like it. It's not interesting ever since I found out there were Zombies. And I was actually excited to see it since the first trailer...though then again the first trailer showed NO ******** ZOMBIES! Just the characters against some normal humans with weapons. Acting Savage. Ect Ect.... So yeah, I rather go watch it on Youtube than pay 60$ for that game. Rather buy it when the price is down to 40$. It doesn't feel or look good... But then again, this is all MY Opinion from a PC/Nintendo/ Minor Sony Standpoint.
