The tentacle fell, and for a moment, Sherry was relieved. Well, for half a moment. Then there was screeching and cracking and shaking, so Sherry began to run. She had only taken a few steps, when suddenly, the ice below her fell away and she stepped off into nothingness.
Sherry fell, one hand gripping Armagnac tighter, and the the other grasping for any kind of a handhold. It never did find one, but Sherry didn't fall forever. She found herself on something large and soft and, "Oh my God!"
Sherry didn't need to be told, she was already moving. Sometimes you just know things, and Sherry knew where she was. The things eye. And way too close for comfort. As she ran, she saw the small whip like tentacles coming toward her. If only she could...
Honestly, she wasn't sure how she did it. She had been on the eye, running, the tentacles coming closer, and then she was at the ice. She de-summoned her weapon and half climbed, half jumped her way back onto the cold hard ice.
Sherry didn't think she'd ever been to terrified in her life.

Scrambling, he glanced behind to see Candace and Molly lingering on about. What were they doing? Deryk couldn't tell just what was going on there.
"DON'T JUST STAND THERE. RUN!" he cried out to them. Quite frankly, he probably shouldn't have stopped running himself. The ice beneath him gave way and he dropped down with a scream. It cut short as he realized he didn't drop down into icy depths but... on top of one of the titan's eyes.
"Augh......" he groaned while getting to his feet. He tried to fend off the tentacles whipping at him while sloshing his way through the eye goop until he was back onto the ice.

Bix was now hefting Before onto his shoulder. His healing had ended up being pointless and as the ice began to break apart around them, all he could do was hurry to one of the sleds and drop his friend's body on top of it. He heard Deryk yell, saw Molly and Cadace doing something. "C'mon girls!!" Bix ran over to see what the problem was. Candace was in distress, talking about H. "CANDACE!" Bix screamed at her, partly out of anger and because of the roar of the beast. "LET'S GO! This is H we are talking about here!" That had many meanings, most of that meaning that H would leave them as well.. and had in many cases. She didn't seem to be convinced. The sun hunter grabbed Candace and Molly by the hands. He was frustrated and they were about to be killed. He forcefully dragged them. "Listen when Boba Fett got eaten by the sarlacc to be digested for a thousand years... he didn't die. He came back.. all half digested and stuff. BUT HE LIVED. And he killed the bounty hunters guild and took out Prince Xizor.. and.." He was saying this as he pulled them. "ARE YOU HEARING ME ? Remember in Men In Black when Agent K just blew his way out of the bug monsters gut? That'll be H okay? With the artifact!" It was an odd choice for a rousing speech but he'd managed to drag both girls to the sled. Bix grabbed one of the lines. "Please.. PLEASE HELP ME."

Still running to make it to safety as it just dawns on Aklin that under the ice is the ocean and gotten a little giddy over that fact since he loved the ocean and water in general. It just seamed that with ever part of the ice Tori ran over was shaking of some kind or cracking which wasn’t a nice sound since she wanted to live. She just wanted Aklin to do that later when she wasn’t running since it was a little distracting. This time she had gotten to the next part of the ice to find that it wasn’t shaking or not trying to break apart as she ran. Slowing down since she was relatively safe now or at least from falling into the ocean.
Breathing heavily as she walked back near the edge of the ice waiting for the others to make it out and looking around to see nothing by white all around. She really, really hated the cold and ice! She would have been alright with the cold if she had been wearing clothing of her own and more layers since she was getting colder the longer she stood there and then thought to pace to keep warm. Sighing slight as it would be better to stay with the others as she didn’t know when or if there would be someone looking for them or even if they made it back to camp on there own.
Aklin asked as he wanted to know more but it was another way to distract his hunter from breaking down or thinking too hard as well.
Well we are in Antarctica which is also the South Pole lies on a continental land mass and the North Pole is located in the middle of the Artic Ocean. Some claim in the North Pole there are two seasons winter and ‘break-up’ meaning when the polar ice breaks when it gets too warm. But it just means that there is a very short spring, summer and fall with lots of winter. Tori replied to her weapon knowing that he was just trying to help her keep her mind sane for the time being as he continued to ask questions and she answered them the best that she could while waiting for the others.

Was he physically well? Not quite he was still pretty beat up, he was covered in... a lot of bandages, especially in the hair (thanks Robert, Jude feels SO PRETTY RIGHT NOW heart ), was he mentally well? Not at all. While he might have been able to pull a sled it was probably better he didn't for everyone involved.
Jude kind of scrambled up to his feet ignoring the dizzy feeling that ran through him and then just tried to make a run for it toward safety.
THIS WAS FUN YAAAAAAAAAY. RUNNINGRUNNINGRUNNING. He loved running. Hey, why did everyone look scared? Did they not like running? Was it cause of the sleds? OH NOES SLEDS. AAAAAAAAAAAAH.
... .. . .. Yeah a good idea he pulled no sleds. It was probably even better he wasn't verbalizing his thoughts right now either.

It made Molly’s chest tighten to see Candace like this, but the desire to get her to safety (or at least try to) overwhelmed anything else. It was further accented as Deryk screamed at them, and then seemed to disappear right after warning them. “ Deryk!” Molly cried back, her grasp on Candace tightening. He was right. They couldn’t linger. It was stupid to linger. “ You know what I think, Miss Candace?” Her words sped up, really panicked now, as a gloved hand reached to tightened around her wrist. “ I think Doctor H is capable of magic, okay? He showed us himself during an orientation! But we have to now, now, and hope that he’ll do another trick--” Molly choked out the last bit, cutting herself off as Bix approached and also relayed how urgent it was that they leave now. Seems she wouldn’t have to try convincing, since the Sun Hunter went ahead and dragged them both. Still, she kept her hand on Candace’s wrist, even as they were dragged over. Once at the sled, Molly also grabbed a hold of a rope, but hesitated again, looking back at Candace to make sure she was ready to go.

Candace had been fine about five seconds ago, but not everybody could handle imminent death. Some people were grabbing sleds as the ice broke apart. Molly and Bix were having to drag Candace over the ice, and she kept saying no, not yet...
Yeah. They weren't getting that artifact. This whole plan had counted on the Doctor, and he just had to go look quizzically over the giant hole in the ice.
He also looked at Bix, who was...well. Tired. And frazzled. And not the most ready to pull a bunch of people across cracking ice. Then he looked at Robert, who was making train noises and had muscles about the size of one.
"We're taking Robert's sled," Harrison said, hefting Candace over his shoulders. "Like he says, all aboard."

While trying to run the ice under him had broken and he was falling...Falling...
Then he landed on an eye. It was soft, spongy and kind of gross feeling in general as he gathered himself up and made a run for it trying to avoid the tentacles that were striking at him during all of this. It was kind of like running in one of those bouncy houses only ... Different. He made his way to safety, though.
Well, relative safety.

Ryan kept running until the burning in his lungs became to be too much and stopped. Gasping for air, he leaned over; hands on his knees as he braced himself, keeping him from falling on his face as he caught his breath.
Never again did he want to face something like that and if he did, he wanted it to be on solid ground--somewhere other than ice, and ice water, and orcas, and---scratch that, he just didn't want to face it again.
The burn in his lung still present, he straightened, turning back towards the direction he had just come from. He couldn't feel the tremors anymore. He had somehow made it far enough away that this part of the ice shelf hadn't been affected by titan. He was safe, but there were others who were still trying to make it out.
"Come on guys, get out of there...!"

Managing to get out of that dip with the eye, Deryk continued to run. This time around, he didn't turn around. There was no time. Even then, he had some large cracks between himself and the others right now so he wouldn't be able to help them without wasting too much time moving around the holes. So he just ran.
The trainee didn't stop until he noticed that the ground wasn't shaking so much any more. It didn't even tremble nor did it crack. He was safe.
Slowly, he turned around before dropping to his knees in exhaustion. The others were still out there, in that mess of a battlefield. Furthermore, he noticed there was still no sign of the doctor. Or the artifact for that matter. All in all, this mission as a whole was turning out to be one giant failure.

Sherry kept running.
She did manage a glance back to check on people (ignoring Armagnac's complaints) but seeing many grouping around a sled that was moving, Sherry figured running was still her best option. How helpful would she be, anyway?
She really didn't have time to contemplate. The ice was still breaking apart around her. She tried to find ice that wasn't...but she found herself falling again. Both hands flailed out, hoping to catch something. This time, she caught hold of something, though her body tried to continue downward. Sherry hit the ice hard, and felt herself slipping back down. She remembered the eye, the tentacles, and the falling from the time before. And somehow, she found the strength to haul herself back on to the ice, and continue running.

"Alright.. I don't care who's sled it is." Bix said in exasperation. He abandoned the rope he held, grabbed Before's limp body, and dragged him over to Robert's sled. Bix looked around again, confident that everyone was running or pulling ot laying on a sled. The ice cracked around his feet again and he stumbled. It was enough of a hint for him to finally start running himself. It was a straight shot, the ice in front of him looking stable. he hopped over cracks, stumbled on whirling tentacles, and rose to dart past whales who seemed to be leaping out of the water. Finally he found his feet on solid ice. The chaos was behind him and he was seemingly safe for the time being. Bix breathed heavy, looking back to make sure everyone made it.

Okay, everybody seemed to be getting sledded up..and Robert seemed to be in control of the sled pulling, so Cass took a deep breath and got about getting out of dodge herself.
She took about three running steps before the ice suddenly cracked beneath her feet and began to shift downwards. She quickly realized that she needed to do one thing and one thing alone: RUN FASTER. Before that thing flipped over on top of her and then she'd just be completely ********. Seriously.
A year without Leon and this would have killed her to make the jump, but Cass, despite some sliding on the ice, bolted, suddenly jumping off of the edge of the flipping chunk of ice and practically soared through the air. In any other circumstances, Cass would have enjoyed the trip as she hit the ground and slid a few feet, nearly tumbling before she continued to move.

Chaos. Madison was aching and battered, but she could still move. She could still run. All around her people were shouting as the ice groaned and cracked, the sounds it made unearthly and bizarre. She'd never known ice could sound like that.
She stood still, trying to look through the madness the battlefield had become (as if it hadn't been already, hah) to see if there was anyone down that hadn't yet been covered. She wasn't leaving anyone here to die!
