Nar Shadda - Star Port
Corvin holstered his weapon, turning to follow the woman who had touched his mind as he massaged his wrist a moment and fell back in step with the dark stranger. "I am no Je'daii." he said. "Simply a man who saw a frightened woman and child and came to their aid." After a short pause, he added "I'm glad it was a misunderstanding."
What information were they talking about? Hidden Temple? He had seen the Holocron, but hoped he was wrong. After years of avoiding this forsaken holy war, had the damned Hutts dropped him right in the middle? He cast his gaze longingly back at the Epoch Wren, wishing he could afford to turn his back on this whole mess.
No sense worrying about the impossible, though... he squared his shoulders and resolutely strode up to the Je'daii woman. "Name's Corvin, and I try not to make a habit out of threatening innocent men. Even if they do claim to have history with the Sith." He spared a moment to look back at the cyborg and see if he was still following them. "I don't suppose you care to tell me what's going on here?" They were fast approaching the Cantina and, if there was going to be any sort of a trust formed, he would need a better idea of what to expect before going in.

Pure Neimodia
Stokhli had wandered around for a while, getting his bearings. It wasn't bad here, he supposed. The cool night air was pleasant, and it was crowded just right. as the people passed by he could smell that many places they'd been, the people they'd met... He took his position for granted, he thought to himself. He was allowed to travel to far off planets, meet new people and do amazing things, all for the greater good. A bit later he stumbled onto the cantina, The Dancing Dreeka. Looking around, he took in the scenery as he walked in, being carful to lay low,and avoid eye contact. To most people this would be a sign of weakness, but he couldnt afford to get in a fight. Not here, not now. His master needed him to succeed, and failure was not an option. he glanced at the clock. It was late, but he didn't care. He just had to wait, and meet the others here. that was the plan...

Nar Shadda- Star port
Locolvictum groaned, he was sick and tried of people calling him a sith. "Ok three things. Number one, I am not a sith nor have I said I have any. Number twoI don't care what you are. And number three, anyone can see that there was no child where we were. There was only me and that woman and a bloody battle cuirser." He said, annoyed that he seems to lack a sense of sight. It was like these poeple wanted to tick him off or something.
"And this transaction thats going to take place. Corvin this does not concern you. I would rather like it if you make some excuse as to not getting anymore involved than you already are." He only wanted the Jedi involved in this, anyone else was a liability. He was going to keep it that way, the data disk itself was enough proof that he should be trusted, which to him was good enough to get anyone and everyone off that he didn't want on.

NarShaddaa Street - En route to the Cantina
Speaking softly Elyria filled Corvin in on what had transpired
"I don't know what to think - and I hate to pass up an opportunity if he's on the up and up, but I sense his anger, and I did sense the Dark force surrounding him before he pounded on the Cruiser's door. if that disk contains what he says it does then it could be invaluable to the Je'daii and disastrous if it fell into the hands of the Sith. Try to get a sense of the man and lend me your advice, I'm really in quite a quandary"
Stopping, she turned to face Vic
"Look, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get on your bad side - In these times it's very hard for a Je'daii to trust anyone, let alone a stranger with tidings too good to be true. Please, sit and talk with us, friends of the Je'daii are few and hard to find, especially on this Godforsaken planet full of Sith. Won't you give me another chance?"

NarShaddaa - Cantina XT-613 was sitting in a back corner of the bar out of sight watching two drunks swing at each other with blind fury. One was a Verpine and another was Human both were wearing old and torn clothes, which by the material, slight wearing the edges and wrinkles both of their outfits were older than 5 years. XT-613 was currently wearing a robe to hide she shine of her metal skin and the bolded text XT-613 on the back of her neck. She ordered nothing and waited in a corner for the perfect moment. One of the drunks were not going to walk out of the bar alive and XT-613 had yet to decided whom. The Human had started to become pale and his movements slowed to a crawl. It was cardiac arrest, as XT-613 had expected since he was drinking along with a neglected heart condition.
16 seconds later it was the perfect time. XT-613 quickly opened up a panel on her left side and took her blaster from its resting place. A button on the blaster was pressed to change it to sniper mode and XT-613 made the shot hitting the Verpine right in the side of the head. The human's heart had given way the moment the blaster was heard and XT-613 replaced the blaster and closed the panel while she stood up and dropped her robe revealing her metal exterior. In a quick motion she moved over the bodies, stole the credits and was already headed out the door. A few Verpine's pulled thier blasters and aimed them at XT-613. They were clearly upset and their passed friend but XT-613 responded by unloading fire in their direction thanks to the flamethrower in her palm as she exited the flaming bar. Now headed for the one next to it.
As XT-613 walked into the next cantina she heard 'We don't serve droids!' but XT-613 knew how to work this bar owner. She looked up as if she was a typical droid and said "I apologize sir, I was told to meet my master's business partner here so they could make arrangements while my master is at Coruscant" The bar owner pointed to an empty table in the back and XT-613 headed over, before making a note of someone who appeared to be of Mandalorian origin

Pure Neimodia - Dancing Dreeka
Jimmy Buffett - Margaritaville
A'kire had no sooner taken a seat at the bar before she noticed Davth sitting there looking like his usual self and had seen Stokhli walk in. She wasn't pleased to see either of them, but was glad they were both in her sight once again. If they split up after this, at least A'kire had the Wookie to spy on Stokhli with. She glanced at the two and nodded slightly, ordering a Reactor Core from the bartender. She downed her drink instantly, asking for a few more. All the Twi'lek did was sit there downing drinks. She stayed absolutely silent othewise. She just waited for Stokhli to explain the plan, whatever he decided to make it out to be. She was growing more and more impatient with each passing second spend on the planet.
If I could cut the both of you down right now, believe me I would. I know you're scheming something you arrogant little rat. Same with Davth. What woman would want a man like you? You too are arrogant, but tenfold. We may be after the same relic, but your tricks won't work on me anymore. I have eyes everywhere. You two will be found out. I swear it....

Nar Shadda- En route to the Cantina
Locolvictum rolled his eyes and exhaled, "Thats what I have been doing for quite a while now. Each time you've threatened me, how do I know that this one won't be like the last three times?" He crossed his arms and tapped a finger impatently on his arm. He could have sworn they passed two Cantina's by now, so why haven't they stoped to go inside one yet? If this is another trap I'm going to crush the data disk in my hand. He thought to himself

Nar Shaddaa - outside Cantina
Extending a hand "New Start?" smiling with all this bickering we've already passed two Cantina's - come on hows does this one look - Gentleman?"
There was an acrid burning smell and a cloud of black smoke drifting toward them.. It appeared as if there was something on fire a ways down the street. Wrinkling her nose "Looks like more trouble here - let's go inside and sort out an agreement - the sooner I'm off this hellish planet the better I will like it!"

Nar Shadda- Outside the Cantina
Locolvictum took her hand but stared at her wearily. "Any cantina will do, and anywhere would have surfaced as a place to talk." He tilted his head toward the door to the cantina for a moment, indicating that he wanted to get this started.

NarShaddaa - Cantina XT-613 sat in a corner table and acted like a droid waiting for her master. XT-613 was going through old files and found the name A'kire in her memory banks. A'kire was the one who had built XT-613 and had done quite a good job of it. While A'kire was falling to the dark side she had equipped XT-613 with various weaponry all of which was hidden. Hidden weaponry always made it easier to act innocent. So to any other person in the bar she was a typical droid which made it easier to steal and collect credits.

Nar Shaddaa - Cantina
Sitting down and letting out a big sigh. "This has been a very long day!" *signalling for a server to bring them something, she lay a large amount of credits on the table* "Give these gentleman whatever they require" As the server walked away she placed her hand on Vic's arm. "I have walked the streets of Nar Shaddaa stopping at every Cantina seeking information on the very artifact you mentioned. We were led to believe it was in the hands on a smuggler here on Nar Shadaa by the name of Lan Riso. It would be disastrous for us if the Sith were to get their hands on it. Our numbers are small and we fight valiantly every day to bring balance to the Galaxy. And you come to me with the very thing I'm looking for and well I'm sorry for my reaction. As I said it's been a very long day." *Looking him squarely in the eye, "What is it you want in return? Safe passage, employment, to train with the Je'daii? or simply to end the quest placed upon you by your father?"

(My goodness... It's been a while. So sorry, everyone. Part of my long absence has been forgetfulness, and most of it has been business. For the most part, I'll be forced to keep my character idle for a while until I figure out exactly what my schedule each week will be like. Thanks for your patience. Oh, and just assume my character has responded as he normally would with what has happened up until now. I don't feel like typing up useless backtrack stuff.)
Nar Shaddaa - Jedi Cruiser
Jri-den stayed on the bridge as the new visitor was being "welcomed". He figured someone has to be there just in case anything went wrong. He sat down and began meditating again, this time trying to focus on the mind of the new visitor. It was tough considering all the Dark Side energy surrounding him.

Nar Shadda- Cantina
Locolvictum sat across the women and didn't order anything. He was happy that she was finaly getting to the point, he was starting to wonder if this whole mess was starting to end. "What I want is few and far between. But I know thats not what you want to hear." Locolvictum leaned back in his seat and inheald. "You want more information as to what this base of mine has to offer. But this artifact, not exactly sure what to call it really. Its locked inside of a vault in the base, the only way to get near it is with a lightsaber. Hence why I just didn't bring the artifact along with the data disk." Taking the disk out of his pocket and placeing it on the table. "The disk itself on hints at the artifact, so I'm not even sure it exists or not. So I can't tell you if its what your looking for but its more than what you had before." Leaning back into the table, "Also the data disk lacks both planet and the cordinates as to where on the planet. Which I made sure by the way." Beinging to threaten her, "So if you try bringing anyone else but you, myself, and any other Jedi. I will put in cordinates that will put us directly into a blackhole." He said, glareing at her.

NarShaddaa - Cantina XT-613 noticed two new comers walk into the bar, both seemed to be already deep in conversation. They were seated at what was the last last empty table, which was furthest away from the exit. The conversation mentioned some sort of artifact but as the conversation got more detailed the noise in the cantina grew louder and louder. XT-613 started to watch their lip movements so the rest of the conversation could be attained but as XT-613 picked up on a sentence about keeping it away from the Sith, XT-613's concentration was broken. "Hey droid! If your still waitin then he ain't coming so get out! All the tables were just filled and your takin' up a table!"
XT-613 responded like a droid again but this time while she discreetly took her blaster out from its hiding place. "I apologize sir but my master assured me he was coming, if I could just show you this." XT-613 quickly stood up and took a shot at the bartender with a quick shot killing him right there. Within seconds every bar attendee dashed towards the counter in hopes for a free drink. XT-613 walked across the bar to the table that had quite an interesting conversation about artifacts to see if she could take the disc as well as a couple credits from the participants in the drunken brawl while she made her way over with blaster in hand.

MustafarCitadel of the Mauler
Xed approached Jayul in his workshop. The Imperials had suddenly decided to neglect a derelict ship that had broke communication on a long range scouting trip. So there was downtime while they waited. Jayul, an ever industrious engineer was always working on his weapons. Today however, he was working on a new idea. The saber was of odd design. It was built from two standard length sabers. But they were fused together perpendicularly. The power cells were fused as well; each end of the sabers had an emitter.
Xed found Jayul as he finished the final alignments and sealed the hilts. "What do we have here Jayul? Have you constructed yet another ingenious way to perverse the lightsabers true intentions?"
"Be careful master, should Lord Trull hear you say as such he would punish us both. You, for your words, and me for the delight of it. I know of your feelings master. The lightsaber was built for elegance, weapons meant to defend and protect. But what use does the vessel of the Mauler have for that."
"I do not know young Jayul. I do not wish this life upon you; but it is not my choice. Had you been found by the Jedi; I imagine your life would have been much more pleasant."
Jayul spat on the ground. "E chu ta Jedi poodoo. I have no need for fearing my tools. Jedi are afraid of the force, they fear to use it; when it's obvious the force was meant for us to use as a tool! Now see what I mean. This is my lightsaw." He gripped it by one of the four hilts, and launched it overhead. The hilts spun, and then they buzzed with the sound of a snap hiss. The four blades glowed red as the circular looking weapon flew at high speed at a target dummy down the length of a target range. The spinning blades whirred so fast they looked like a blood red buzzsaw. The lightsaw seared through the target dummy, and then the wall behind it.
Xed guffawed as it appeared Jayul had just lost his weapon. Jayul however simply looked at his blademaster with an amused smile. He lifted his hand and focused. He felt his blade, still flying onwards, cutting through solid rock. He grasped a hold of it in his mind, bending the force to his will to grab and turn the blade. He brought it back flying towards them. Moments later the blade burst out of the wall. It flew towards them, and Xed actually stepped back in concern. Jayul however, held his ground. Instead he reached down and picked up a glove and slipped it on. Just in time he reached out and grabbed the weapon, using the force to guide it into his hand. A second after he grabbed it the blades shut off and the weapon returned to its hilts. Jayul smiled and set the weapon back onto his workbench.
"How did you do that Jayul? You should have no hand!" Xed was clearly shaken.
"The glove, it is made of a phrik filament thread. There's a cortosis plate on the palm at well. It's not impervious, and anything longer than a moments grip would burn through the mesh. The cortosis is a final measure to deactivate a blade should the phrik barrier fail. I designed it for this weapon specifically." He slipped the glove off and sure enough the palm was singed.
"But years ago, Lord Trull sent Jedi HK droids after me as a training session. I was disarmed and one almost killed me. I don't know how I did it. I haven't been able to since. But I gathered the force into my hands and grabbed the blades, stopping them..."
Xed looked at his pupil for a moment with a curious look. Then he said, "For the sake of your master, do not try practicing this again. The force protected you that day, there is something great in your destiny. But do not tempt it more than you already do. You may only bend the force so much before you break something, and more often then not it's the wielder who is broken."
Jayul nodded, "I promise you that for now... I wont try. But I tell you in private; between you and I. I do not know how I feel about sacrificing my life for this ancient Dark Sith Lord."
"Spare your words Jayul. I am safe, but should you be overheard of Huurgen, or Trull... you would be punished." Neither man noticed the pair of eyes that watched them from a vent in the wall. The strange ape-faced, feline like animal that was Lord Trull's pet, watched them from it's hidden place. Jayul would pay that night for his uncertainty. Xed would be punished as well, as he was made to lash his beloved pupil nearly to death, ten times.
