Peregrine.Elliott.Gray.Wellington.IV If you look like a pirate, then speak like a gentleman... "Alright, here we go," Gray said, holding her hands tightly as he started going through the waltz steps--which wasn't in time with the music, but was pretty much the only thing he could do with a munchkin on his feet. Even then, he had to hold them awkwardly stiff, to keep her from falling off. But it still didn't stop him from twirling her rapidly around the dance floor, singing obnoxiously.
"DA, dada, DA, dada. Make way, lad, coming through!" ...and no one will notice you have a heart like a pirate too.

”Happiness makes up in height for what it lacks in length.” - Robert Frost
"Of course, of course. Cleaning is for later, and now, we should be partying it up." Briar nodded in agreement, taking a break from all the dancing now that it had turned more upbeat. Of course, he couldn't admit that he was starting to get tired darn his stamina!, so he made sure to offer up an excuse to get away. "Hey, how about I get you something to drink? I don't know about you, but I'm kind of thirsty from all that dancing."
Though, when he glanced over at the table, he only spotted spilled punch. Oh, berries. There went that excuse, and... his need to clean it up came in full force. "Uh, even though I'd love to continue, I should really get to that. After all, we wouldn't want anybody slipping on the punch. Then again, that'd be really funny, but they'd leave a bigger mess. I also have to replace the punch too..."
Wait! He shouldn't be thinking about that. He was supposed to be having fun, and not be stuck with janitor duty for the day. "But, I'll save that for another time. Do you want anything to eat instead?" Briar quickly inserted him, doing his best to keep himself distracted away from the mess.

”All say, ‘How hard it is that we have to die’ - A strange complaint to come
Purple haired woman? Hm. She got nothing coming to mind, but then again, she wasn't thinking too hard when she was busy giggling at how adorable Sethrian and Renivere were. They were both so 'awh'-worthy that she just had to do it. Of course, she should stop the staring; she didn't want to be too awkward about that. Seeing as though everyone already made their way back into the ball, Kasie urged Veith to do the same since she wanted to know what was going on in the room. "C'mon, Veith! Everyone's already dancing, so we should join in. Even us single people should go out and have some fun, or else we'll look really lonely and that's not very fun. Well, not that I am lonely since I have so many people to chat with, and not that I'm implying that you aren't good company because you are even if you never smile and stuff, which you really should do. Anyway! Let's go."

Pilot giggled and held Gray's hands tightly, "This is fun! Look out everybody! Out our way!" She called when they passed some dancers. "We are the best ones here!" She exclaimed, with a big smile on her face.

Burnt out from drawing Kamil. So I can't draw Veith's outfit.Veith Nezariel Veith frowned, but he followed Kasie anyways since he had nothing better to do. He had no idea how he was going to manage dancing with a ghost, but apparently there was a way to dance without touching. All they needed to do was stand near each other and move. But it just seemed too awkward for Veith since he's never done it before and his limbs were stiff.
"M-maybe I should go eat instead. I'm not much of a dancer." Veith said to Kasie as he awkwardly ran his hand through his hair. His face felt hot and he realized how interesting the floor looked as he stared down, hoping that Kasie didn't see his embarrassment about all this.

Angela.Tremaine "Right, that sounds believable," Angela teased. "And I'm just not going to touch on that last part. But I think it's different when you're just sitting around, having fun with a friend--and you know that isn't what I meant at all."
She pulled her mask off and set it on the table, noticing that other people were starting to doff theirs as well. "I suppose I can finally get rid of this weird thing."

Jukka smiled, "The masks are cool and all but..... they hide the ladies pretty faces. Im glad they are being taken off now..... though some people are just better to leave theirs on anyway...." "So..... the next free period is coming up soon right? I think that is when ill sneak off and see my folks... and "Pepper" too....." Jukka smiled at the thought of his troublesome little sister.

Sethrian.Terkynna Sethrian stood for a long moment, watching Renivere..."dance" before he started slowly trying to move to the beat. It had been a while since he'd done anything remotely resembling this kind of dance, though. So long, that the concept was nearly completely foreign. He wasn't sure he was even capable of letting lose anymore. But as he watched Renivere, and let himself get lost in the beat of the music, he stopped worrying so much about what others would think. (sort of) Still, he couldn't just move without rhyme or reason. As he danced, he incorporated the moves he'd learned from his grandmother--when she taught him their traditional dances. He just hoped he didn't look too foolish.

"Then, I'll teach you." In spite of never dancing herself, Kasie offered to help out since it was clear that Veith was shy about it. Well, she had danced before, but dancing with her brother at home didn't exactly count did it? Plus, movies weren't exactly the best places to learn about such stuff. Hey, at least they wouldn't be the only people who would look goofy. From what she could see, there were plenty who were dancing without a care since it was all about the fun.
"So there! No excuses, mister. Even if it's more pretending than anything else, I still want to get my first dance done, and I know you haven't done the same either. You can eat later. For now, I'll take the honor of being your first dance partner." She beamed, wishing that she could just drag Veith against his will. Of course, that wasn't going to be happening. Instead, she could deal with nagging until he was finally fed up and agreed.

*.~*¨¯¨*•~.Renivere Heartily.~•*¨¯¨*~.* Well wasn't Renivere an amateur next to Sethrian? It was kind of funny if she thought about it. A little duck dancing with a swan. Well, the point was to enjoy the dance after all and Sethrian seemed to have a very good dancing background while Renivere had a background that consisted of mostly talking to flowers.
"Dances were not of my liking if I am to be honest, but rather a dread I wished to disappear. Upon my time here, I believe they are not to be so horrific as I believed them to be, if appearing in them are the right people." Renivere admitted. She was attempting to express her enjoyment in words, but she wasn't sure if she was wording it right. "Odd surprises, yes, but very laughable when afterwards."

Burnt out from drawing Kamil. So I can't draw Veith's outfit.Veith Nezariel Veith followed after Kasie, at the time, it just seemed like a natural reaction as if she was doing a mental drag or because Kamil's dragging nature made Veith feel that it was impossible to ever decline people and they would just drag him afterwards. Kasie seemed like a dragging type of person, but he forgot that she couldn't because she was a ghost.
"Teach me?" Veith repeated. "It's going to end up like the time I tried to teach you magic."
He awkwardly stepped on the dance floor where multiple people were just flailing their arms about.

Hurray, he listened! Kasie's grin widened as she tried to reassure Veith that it was possible to learn how to dance. It may be awkward or goofy-looking, but hey, the whole purpose was to enjoy it. "Pfft. That is completely different. Teaching something to a dum-dum like me is tough, but if it's the other way aorund, it's fine. You're smart, so you can handle something as simple as dancing. All you have to do is move to the beat. That's a good place to start." She instructed, already swaying to the music.

Angela.Tremaine
"Oh yes, we can't have all the pretty 'ladies' having their faces hidden," Angela said, looking around just to see if she could catch sight of the dark haired man she danced with earlier. But she didn't see anyone who was wearing the same clothes.
"Anyway, if you sneak off then, I'll cover for you that way you won't get caught. I heard there were a couple of kids who were caught leaving school the other day and they were threatened with being expelled so you need to be really careful when you sneak off. But then, you're a cat. You should be good at sneaking around, right?"

Burnt out from drawing Kamil. So I can't draw Veith's outfit.Veith Nezariel "Move to the beat? I'm pretty sure there's more to it than that." Veith said. It was much easier for girls. They wore flowing gowns that would flow elegantly as they just swayed. But Veith didn't have any elegant flowing skirts, which was a good thing since he was aware he would probably look just as good as Kamil did in a dress considering his very feminine build which he hated with all he could muster.
Veith frowned as he shuffled about trying to find the beat. He felt that he looked like he was just walking around.
((I suddenly had an idea! What if we had a dancing class? XD Lots of my characters haven't a clue to how to dance! Maybe we could have Chocolate make a teacher for it since she's been torn between a male student and a teacher and I think the male student population went up during the past days so she doesn't need to make a male student. ))

Sethrian.Terkynna "My family is descended from gypsies," Sethrian said. "Dancing is a part of our culture, though I've not done it in many years. My grandmother taught me, before she grew too ill." "I stopped because there was no one to enjoy it with. But I...have you, now?" He hoped he did, anyway. Seth took Renivere's hands and drew her slightly closer. "I would enjoy teaching you, if you wish. But only if you wish." Though really, while Reniver's moves were...imprecise, she danced for the sheer enjoyment of it, so it was still nice to watch her. He was a little envious of her ability to just enjoy life with such abandonment. "But I do not think you are a bad dancer."
