For those paying attention, a couple of minor NPCs:
High Colonel Nemrick, commander of military operations on Ruuria, and base commander of the Primary Hive garrison
Lord Bathalzar, Sith Lord and overseer of the planet Ruuria. He answers only to Darth Angral, the Sith incharge of the invasion, and the Dark Council

You know, it might actually be nice to "rp" some stuff too. Not all of us got our tampons lit on fire for chapter one. It's not my fault nobody went and tried to make a good guy to pick fights with, so do something else constructive. Keep speedhacking the posts and you'll wind up finding that the republic fleet won't arrive at all.

Bored as you may be, you got to let others catch up too. In the time it took you to get back to base, issue a lockdown, actually finish and complete said lockdown, talk with cinn, talk with the colonel, mobilize the forces... All Jian has had time to do is get to the cantina with Danika and explain the situation.
Since a lockdown does take time to complete (and your posts have stated thus) as well as everything else, you've probably taken 3-4 hours easily to get things arranged. Jian has spent about 15 minutes in game time relative to Ilia. It's a matter of fair play: you've spent your time getting things prepped, give my character fair due to get it too.
This is all part of good roleplaying: you got to give others a chance to react to your actions, otherwise you just are railroading them into a godmodded situation.
@ stellar: no, there is no limit, though the hard and fast unwritten rule still applies. NPCs are npcs, not PCs without biographies, and don't make so many characters that in the event of you leaving unexpectedly, the entire isn't hanging on your sole actions.

Yeah... but when you've accidentally created a duo... I tend to want to give them a bio and all that.
Now... in retrospect, a full FC would be a bad idea... but a PC republic fighter pilot that could spawn some stuff for him to fight? Much better idea.
