Even that was what the Rattata thought, then it was no wonder her plans to save the others had failed. If there was one truth in this world, one factor absolute and unchanging, it was the Fable would always trust Raven. The boy could kill hundreds, thousands, and the Charmander would help him in doing so, believing it all to be for good reason. It was no simply blind faith, after all the Fire-Type didn't trust any other humans as far as he could throw them, Raven alone had convinced him of such things during their travels...and since their arrival at the Academy, the boy had stayed true to his word.
Skidding slightly across the floor, the Charmander would shrug off the blow, exhaling smoke through his nostrils as he clenched his clawed hands into tight fists.
Just as he had done once before, the Charmander would begin secreting the natural oils which allowed him to spread flame across his body to excess; even going so far as to allow it to slide down his arm and splatter against the floor.
Behind him Fable's tail flame flicked ominously, the fire growing brighter and difficult to stare at. The Charmander by contrast would be left an ominous silhouette, his arms moving slowly behind him. Once those oil soaked scales reached the flame they would ignite, flame licking against the metal walls of the vent and blackening it. This would be the end.
Leaping forward Fable would thrust all his weight into both hands, swinging them downward in an arc together in one massive Fire Punch . He planned to hit the Rattata with full force, to make everything burn away. Raven would not be the one to end this Rattata, it would be him!((Yes they can be, in a multitude of ways.))

(13 - 2 + 13 - 7 = 17dmg)
Hp: -16
She would die in flames, but she was smiling even as the fire burned her fur and started to melt her flesh. She would smile, because, at least she didn't have to die at the hands of that filthy human.
He had really made his pokemon take the blunt of this savage attack, and she wished him and his entire group more pain throughout their lives.
It was over at last.

Once the Rattata fell Fable would simply stand there, entranced by the flame gorged body of the rodent even as the bloody red hue drained from his eyes. The battle was over, and the little witch had paid dearly for her insults. His way of killing was not nearly so merciful as Raven's.
Raven would give a firm nod as he watched the rodent burn for a moment, recalling Fable to his ball and turning about sharply. They were done here. It had taken much longer then he'd hoped for, but they were at last finished in this place.
When the boy once more descended the ladder he would state "The deed is done. Though you'll likely want to send someone in the remove the corpses before they rot and scrub off the blood before it causes rusting"

"That isn't hard to do."
The man would proclaim as he would hand over two things to Raven surprisingly enough. The first was his reward money, 100 gold, the boy knew he would receive that, but the second was an envelope.
"I had some messenger run it to me earlier and thought you might want it."
He would declares as he shrugs lightly.
IF and when he opened, he would inside a map and a invitation to the Hunter's tournament. It would seem that something big was on the horizon.

Raven would of course arch an eyebrow at the mention of the messenger, maintaining that look as he opened it and browsed the contents. A tournament would be an excellent chance to grow stronger, both physically and mentally. Such places contained a wide variety of opponents not normally gathered in a single local. Excellent.
Nodding briefly, the boy would put the map and invitation away in his bag. He had but a single thing to do first.
Giving a simple nod in thanks to the man, the boy would promptly march off in the direction of the Pokemon Center. [Exiting to Pokemon Center]

Tsuki would enter the Mirage Arena, not sure as to what to make of it. It was his first time here and he didn't know what to think. It was a place to train obviously. But HOW was a mystery.
Deciding to strengthen the weakest of the members, he sent out Crystal. He'd have trained Sai.... but that was Victoria's problem. The Piplup cautiously looked around. She had a pretty keen eye and tried to avoid being ambushed most of the time.

It would be a movement of something in the corner of her eyes ...as a Persian would appear on the field. A flick of her tail ...as she would look at the boy and smirk lightly.
With the Rattata gone, this place was now fully open as she would flick one black ear and then the other ....as she flick her tail around happily. Her eyes would fall upon the boy as she would smile happily.
(Welcome to the Mirage arena ...may I help you)
She hadn't missed the pokedex in his ear. Her tail would curl around her foot paws as she sat down and waited for his answer.

"Yeah, I'd like to train my Piplup here." Tsuki answered. He'd figure how this worked by doing it. He learned by actions better than words so he figured he could get the hang of it. Crystal kept her eyes on the Persian. She wouldn't be able to take on an evolved Pokemon like that, but she could defend herself if the need came.

The Persian would roll her eyes as she sat on her haunches.
(Wow, really? I thought you came here to count the tiles in the floor.)
There was nothing but sarcasm there. She couldn't help her nature especially when the one speaking those words said them with the same intelligences as the tiles.
(I got that you want to train something ....I was asking the question of how you want to go about this. Single battle, Double battle, or do you simply want to do a best out of 5 match?)
The Persian would ask with a flick of her across her own paws as it curls to the front of her. She was waiting for a real answer this time.

"Now that you say that...." Tsuki said, looking down at the floor as he began to count his finger. Looking back up, he said "Single match."

The persian's mouth would be stretched wide ....as she yawns in his face.
(How boring, but if you insist ....call out your pokemon the one you wish to train and we shall begin)
She would stretch her claws through the ground ....as she dragged it backwards sending bits of sparks into the air. Her tail would flick from side to side as she looks him in the eyes. She would rip apart that little water bird, or at least that was her plan as she waited for him to send her out.

It didn't take long to figure out that Crystal was outclassed in every way to that feline. Tsuki wasn't informed that Pokemon didn't die here, so he'd be careful when battling the normal type. Considering it had evolved, it'd give a hefty amount of experience. And that was something the newbie needed.
Nudging her with his foot, Tsuki motioned for Crystal to begin the match. She gave her trainer a look. It said he had better know what he was doing. With that he penguin waddled foward, moving her arms in front of her. Hopefully she'd be able to block the attack.

It was a movement of swift feet and dangerous claws as she would stalk forward. Her ears pin to her head as she came at the Piplup with a mighty leap as her claws were outstretched as she seeked to grab ...to scratch, but more importantly to bite. As she aimed her fangs for the Piplup's soft throat.
She wanted to end this match swiftly as she aim to send the bird's blood bubbling from it's throat and upon the ground. The thought made her claws itch even as she struggled to grab and hold on. Her tail would curl up tight, and her pelt seemed to shimmer with the thought and the deed.
Yes, this bird was out done, outmatch, and soon to be lunch for the Persian.

(18 - 8 + 11 - 10 = 11dmg + flinch)
Those claws would find her opponent's skin, her teeth would sink deep. It wasn't enough to kill, but the flightless bird wouldn't be enjoying her attention either. Yet, she wasn't done ...not yet as her tail would flick like mad as she tries to tear deeper into her. She wanted to feel that life throb of blood ...the vein she was seek to stab would throat hot and lushly in her mouth. She would get to enjoy that tangy taste on her tongue.
Yes, she was satisfied with this boy's sacrifice indeed as the Persian wouldn't pause and would continue to try and kill the pokemon. Even if she couldn't kill her for real ...it was still lovely to enjoy anyway as she continued to bite the Piplup
