Aʆєxaηdra Ӎaʀiʆèηє AgηèȿCodename:Flairer My hearts longs for the ability to not ramble. ❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷ ✶✵✴❄❅❆❇❈❉❊❋❖❤❥❦❧ ☀ She listened to Aurelie as she mentioned how she had only gotten out of the infirmary a few days ago. Alex guessed that would make it hard to find something for prom. The only reason she had found something was because she already had this dress. Otherwise, the sensory adaptor would have likely had nothing. Though, was it really important to wear such fancy outfits to prom? She bit back that question as she nodded slightly. “That is true. Though, I am sure you could have worn anything there and the people would have thought you pretty.” Then again, a lot of people around here could be considered attractive. Not that it didn’t make her comment true. She could just see a lot of people being able to go somewhere and look good no matter what they were wearing.
A faint blush formed on her face as Aurelie seemed so sure that she would stop a few hearts. While she didn’t think herself unattractive, she didn’t think of herself as attractive as Aurelie or some of the other people in the Academy X. But, a part of her still couldn’t help but be flattered by the idea. Though, as Aurelie continued, she found herself giggling a little at the idea of stepping on people’s toes. “I would hope I am not that terrible of a dancer. But, I guess we will just have to see about that.” Not realizing Aurelie’s compliment was her attempt to keep Alex from being as awkward as Tsukino. However, Alex hadn’t even realized that Tsukino could be considered awkward since she hadn’t seen her after the mall incident. That was when Lillian came in, apologizing before looking determined to get Aurelie to prom.
Maybe Aurelie might thank Lillian for the good time. But, Alex couldn’t help but think that would not be the case. “Alright.” Unable to bring herself to really protest. Not when she had a feeling protesting would not get either her or Aurelie anywhere with Lillian. Just showing how stubborn her roommate could be. Though, when Alex didn’t object to Lillian taking Aurelie with her, that was really showing the French girl knew that it would be futile. “I am sure.” After that, Lillian and Aurelie left, only for two people to enter the room. Two people she had yet to meet. The male(Anthony) soon wishing her good luck and her wishing the same for him. Then, watching as the girl(Vee) dropped some sheet music. Causing her to walk over and crouch down, offering her help to the unknown girl(Vee).
Though, when the girl(Vee) replied as loudly like she did, Alex found herself flinching back slightly. After all, she had not expected the girl(Vee) to say no so loudly! Then again, the French girl hadn’t exactly expected for her to say no either. Though, maybe she was the type not to accept help? It was a possibility as Alex was barely able to hear the hushed mutter. Nodding a little as she stood back up. “Alright.” She looked down at the girl(Vee) while the girl(Vee) continued to gather up the sheets of music. “Though, if you do not mind me asking, what is your name?” Alex felt it was only proper to ask since she had no idea what she would call the girl(Vee) otherwise. However, should she have said her name before asking that question in this case?
Eyes soon blinked though as she thought she heard a knock on the door. She hadn’t realized the door had been shut. Maybe Lillian or Aurelie had shut the door when they had left earlier? But, before Alex could say anything, she looked over her shoulder to see someone slipping through the door. She did not recognize the new male(Raph) that had come into the room. However, that didn’t mean she should ignore him. It just made Alex not sure exactly what to say as she was still waiting for the male(Anthony) and the girl(Vee) to say something. After all, it would be rude to ignore them in preference for the new male(Raph). But, it seemed the new male(Raph) spoke before the others decided to reply. Causing her to give preference to him only for that reason.
As he introduced himself as Raph, she couldn’t help but wonder if that was short for Raphael. After all, that was the only name she could think of that had Raph in it. However, Alex decided not to ask if that was actually his first name. For if he wanted to be referred to by a possible nickname, that is what she could call him. Unless told otherwise of course. Then, Raph mentioned he was on the Alphas. She didn’t know which team the girl(Vee) or the male(Anthony) were on. But, it was nice to meet another Alpha, especially in a much more peaceful setting than she had at the mall. While the temptation to introduce herself grew due to the familiarity of teams, she realized he wasn’t done talking. Thus, the sensory-adaptor kept her mouth shut as he continued.
It was then that Raph mentioned having overheard someone saying how they were going to prom. Since Alex didn’t hear the other two in the room say anything about going to prom, she assumed he had to have heard her earlier comment. The one from before she had come over to the girl(Vee) and offered her help. “That would be me.” A faint smile forming on her face as Raph asked if he could tag along. The way he phrased his statement elicited a small giggle from the French girl’s lips. Though, her hand soon placed itself against her mouth, not wanting to appear rude. Once Alex didn’t think she was going to giggle anymore, she moved her hand away so her voice wouldn’t be muffled. “It is not weird if you wish to tag along. I would not mind the company at all.”
Though, why did a faint part of her get the feeling she might get playfully teased about having gotten a “date” so quickly? “Though, I feel it is only fair that I introduce myself to you. For it would be quite strange of us not to know each other’s names.” Before she could do so though, she watched as the girl(Vee) stood up quickly. Her blue-green hues looking towards her now. The French girl was unable to form a single syllable before the girl(Vee) moved quickly out of the room, with the sheet music clutched tightly to her chest. A slight frown formed on her face as she wondered if she had said something wrong. However, Alex couldn’t recall having said anything strange or off to her. Maybe she just didn’t like being around people?
Either way, it was too late for the sensory adaptor to try and call the girl(Vee) back. For now, all Alex could do was hope that the girl(Vee) would be alright. “I did not expect that. Though, I hope she was not too startled.” A vocalization of her feelings while her lips slowly formed back into a faint smile. Feeling a bit of her natural introvertedness trying to come out. But, Alex wasn’t going to let that happen. Not when she didn’t want to disappoint herself or others. “Anyway, the name is Alexandra. Alexandra Marilene Agnes. A pleasure to meet you, Raph.” Though, she realized that maybe he would feel the need to call her by her whole first name now, or to be formal with her. Causing her to ramble on.
“But you can just call me Alex. I do not like being called Alexandra or Marilene, or Miss. Agnes. For I do not want to sound like a person that demands formality from others.” Why did she have to ramble? A small sigh leaving her lips as she realized that she had completely ignored the male(Anthony)! What would happen if he had said something and she hadn’t heard it? Probably not too severe of consequences. However, it still caused her to turn towards where she remembered him to be standing. Wanting to say something, if not more than an apology. But, when Alex turned to face where the male(Anthony) had been standing, he wasn’t there anymore! Maybe the male(Anthony) had to go somewhere? That was likely the case. At least, Alex hoped that was the case as she looked back at Raph.
“Though, I am sorry for rambling. I sometimes get a bit carried away with myself.” She felt the apology was necessary as she moved slightly towards him. Having stayed where she was when the girl(Vee) had been before for the majority of her talking. “But, you said you were on the Alphas, right? I am on the Alphas as well. So, I believe we shall be working together in the future.” A part of her didn’t want to go on anymore missions if they were going to be as crazy as the last one. Though, another part of her felt she had been put on the Junior X-men Team for a reason. While Alex didn’t know what that reason was, she knew that it had to be a good enough of a reason.
Thus, she pushed the side of her back that wasn’t comfortable with staying on the Alphas. Soon brushing a strand of blond hair behind her ear while smiling faintly at him again. “Enough about me though. We should get going before we are too late.” At least, Alex hoped she hadn’t caused Raph to change his mind about tagging along. That would be bad, but at least she would know to keep herself from rambling as much. For now, the sensory adaptor moved towards the doorway and into the hallway. Now standing outside the Music Room and waiting for Raph. For it would be rude to go on ahead without him, right? ❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷ ✶✵✴❄❅❆❇❈❉❊❋❖❤❥❦❧ ☀ "We will drink our fill of Alpha Then, of golden sunshine that spills into Music room Till our brains intertwine with Aurelie and Lillian briefly, with two other people remaining(Vee and Anthony), then just Raph" (Permission to move around Anthony given by HalJordon)

Name: Raine "Glitter" Burke Team: Alphas Power: Creation and Manipulation of Electricity Location: Whose house? Clearly Narcissa's, because this isn't going so well... The interaction with Narcissa and Felix, no matter how hard she wished to wake up from this strange dream, a mix of elation and pure fury, seemed to persist. And so, Raine was confronted with the reality that this was, indeed, happening. The worst part was Cissa's never wavering grin, her response to the firefly's comment about getting the date she wanted to clinging to Felix even more, gently touching his cheek as if he were a dog, to be rewarded for good behavior. A big stupid puppy, in an annoying stupid tie. That was what Raine saw him as now, her friend allowing her enemy to drape herself over him and insult her without so much as a throat noise in Raine's defense. And then, he did speak up, expressing his satisfaction with his own choice, casting her a smile as well. It was a little…shocking to Raine how deep the knife in her back could keep going. At least Aren still seemed happy to be there with her, giving him a bright smile and a small nudge with her hip to shaw that she, too, was playing around, despite the situation in which she found herself. She could never get tired of that cheeky grin, which always made her chuckle. " Psht, of course I cared. Still do, you know," she said simply, glad that she would at least have memories from tonight that wouldn't be going away any time soon. Some better than others. As their conversation turned to their attire for the night, a few jabs entered by both female contestants into the Prom ring, it ended with Aren's diplomatic answer being called cause for an eye exam. The original comment passed through her as if it were nothing - she knew she looked good, and he had already told her how he liked her dress-choice. It was Felix's comment, about Aren needed his judgment examined, however, that elicited nothing short of a warning glance from her. She could forgive Cissa for being a b***h, since it was part of who the girl was. It was her character to play in their daily production at the Academy. Felix was just being outright mean at this point. Maybe her judgement of who she considered a friend needed to be examined. Her lips remained tightly shut, however, as the Omega leader asserted her dominance by slinking over to Aren, twisting her snake-like self around her date and ending by placing a warm hand over Raine's as it rests on Aren's chest. Hazel eyes moved over to Cissa, locking into the soulless blue she constantly felt on her, as if silently telling her that no matter how hard she tried, she wasn't going to run the Alpha off. Not this time. Eventually, the blonde made her way back to her date, the two offering them drinks. Raine took one, if only to be polite, and under a sneaking suspicion that it had been poisoned or drugged in some way, while Aren politely declined. At first. It didn't take too much prodding from his Queen to get him to partake, the blonde questioning him sweetly about when she would ever be persuasive. The sight of her toying with Raine's former friend, again made her blood boil slightly, though why she continued to care was a bit beyond her own understanding. Taking the opportunity to drink a bit of punch, she was quick to reassure her Native-American date that she had complete faith in him in terms of protecting her honor throughout the evening, going so far as to chastise him in a joking manner when he mentioned videotaping. Clearly, Cissa was more comfortable with the notion than she was, mentioning that they had to post it on Youtube, and then detailing the kinds of security measures that they would have to take in order to make sure that they maintain a low profile, as they were supposed to be. Raine actually laughed when the woman advised the boys to "avoid lingerie, signs and landmarks," a moment of lightness seeming to overtake the mood of the conversation. Aren insisted that Cissa was alright with it, and mentioned finding a camera, causing the brunette to laugh once more. " Yes, well, then it has to be a good idea," she responded with a grin, shaking her head slightly. Things were, for the moment, starting to look a little better. And then, Raine had to open her stupid mouth just when the evening could have taken a turn for the better. Felix asked if Cissa was really afraid of waking up alone, so which the blonde may a coy remark. Raine, on the other hand, had to say something snarky - it was almost as if the words were coming out of her mouth before she had a chance to stop them. Instantly, she cast Aren an apologetic smile, lowering her eyes as the blonde came back with her own retort, which the firefly had to admit, begrudgingly, was probably deserved. Still…harsh. But, probably deserved. The worst part of it was the look Aren seemed to give her, once again piping up to probably bring some peace to the situation. Raine brought her punch up to her lips, giving him a grin as he assured them that he was not going to take advantage of a drunk girl. Felix chimed in, getting in his own jab, and Raine wondered if he realized just how close to an electrocution he was coming. Turning her attentions back to Aren she was going to be very reliant on him reminding her why she continued to subject herself to such torture, for lack of a better word. " Glad to know I'm safe," she responded with a grin, giving him a small smile and an amused chuckle. He gave a mock toast, and the firefly raised her glass in time before bringing it to her lips to drain some more of the liquid. Her former friend Felix laughed as a new face tripped in front of them, doing a front roll and popping up in front of them as if he had intended to do such the entire time. He was lucky he had such fast reflexes - the last boy that tripped into Narcissa ended up having his family jewels kicked in and needing to be escorted off the floor to sit with a cold can of sprite between his legs. Best not to introduce herself to the new guy by telling that story. " Nice reflexes, there. Are you sure you're ok?" The firefly reached out to place her empty cup on a passing tray grabbing another drink for herself and one to extend towards the poor soul that had just spilled his.

╰☆╮ Name: Katarina Force ╰☆╮ Alias: Kali ╰☆╮ Team: Alpha, Apparently.╰☆╮ Ability: Shape Shifter ╰☆╮ Location: Academy: Garden, by the Fountain ╰☆╮
"Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. The fearful are caught as often as the bold." ✬════━━┈┈┈☆┈┈┈━━════✬ Were all of the mutants in this place emotionally damaged or socially bankrupt? Katarina was used to people backing away from her if she was holding a pistol in their direction…Or if she was making some kind of obscene threat…But here, this boy froze and moved away at her mere presence. Was it something about her form that startled him? She didn’t think that her true face looked particularly dangerous…But perhaps Eli thought otherwise. “If this face makes you uncomfortable… I can change. Perhaps something of the male variety?”
She smiled…And it would have been sweet, were it not for the almost robotic edge to gunmetal steel-blue eyes. His heartbeat raced, and the predator within her knew it. The way his pupil’s dilated were a dead give away. Her head tilted when he mumbled about test tube beakers and a lab…“I don’t belong here. I don’t belong anywhere.”
A sound echoed in the foliage around them, and she stilled as the boy backed away from her. Reflexively, her hand went to her bloodied throat, wondering if X-20 had decided to come and finish what he’d started. She figured the darkness hid the deep red coloring, if Eli hadn’t noticed, though her backless sweater was white in color. Katarina didn’t think Gideon was angry enough yet…Not just yet…But stranger things had happened in her lifetime.
Intelligent eyes flickered to and fro, hands slipping to lock behind her back once more. Her fingers laced at the base of her hips, a cool wind tugging at chestnut hair. “Come out come out whoever you are…”, she called, her tone carrying a faint italian inflection. “It’s rude to eavesdrop and stare.”
She found a particular irony in that. Wasn’t it the story of her life? Eavesdropping and staring? As a spy…She felt a little annoyed that someone had gotten the drop on her. But that was to be expected, in a horror house full of teenage mutants.
Her eyes fell to Eli again, who looked…Almost like someone had kicked his puppy. “You look like you could use a glass of wine—A bottle of wine to calm your nerves…”
“Try breathing deep through your mouth, exhale slowly through your nose. Repeat. Relax.”
His anxiety was leaking out of him. It was starting to make her paranoid. ✬════━━┈┈┈☆┈┈┈━━════✬ (Oodles Of Chickens: )

Alpha - Frontier University - Dancing Ladies Time After Thomas' joke about his being Leo's replacement, and the animal mimics, response about her forceful personality, her hands made their way to her slender hips, laughing as she sidled up to her date and draped an arm gracefully over his shoulder, though she case glances towards both of the men now in her line of verbal fire. " A rock and a hard place? Honey, I could give you a hard place, all you have to do is ask. But as I recall, the terms of your acceptance were simply that we didn't have to match our outfits. I don't remember anyone saying anything that could resemble resistance. Anyways, my experience has always been that men like it when the woman takes charge." If he was going to joke around with her, there was no reason she couldn't joke right back. If he thought he was going to trip her up this evening, when she was in her own element, he had another thing coming. Besides, the appearance of a girl that could make him stutter and act like a goof was too good to pass up. As Aurelie chimed in with her own disbelieve that it was Tara's insistence that he be her date that got him to come, she motioned towards the blonde with a triumphant grin. " See? Aurelie gets it, and she wasn't even there. I think you're outnumbered here, Leo." She waved off the story Thomas alluded to, laughing as the blonde alpha expressed her interest in hearing the story herself. " That's a different story for a different night. You don't really want to hear about my past exploits. Though, if I keep drinking this punch, you'll probably hear more about it than you'd really care to," she responded to the girl, a chuckle escaping her. Tara was very pleased at the emergence of new entertainment, laughing as Lillian assured her that she was going to hold on to the favor. No doubt it would prove either useful or amusing in the future, depending on the context in which it was invoked. She had no doubt that Lillian would make it good, when the time came. She didn't know the former Omega too well, but from what she had seen so far, she had a feeling that they were going to get along just fine. Maybe she was a fan of mischief as well - if so, there were certainly plenty of shenanigans they could have together. Already, the mind was beginning to work on something fun. The power mimic poured herself a cup of punch, the earth manipulator shaking her head and gesturing to the glass already in her hand. The girl made a face as they all came to the conclusion that the punch was spiked beyond their control, Tara simply giving a shrug and taking a deep drink anyway. No, it wasn't tasty, but since she was still not of age, and she didn't see her big brother around to score her something a little more tasty, she had to do with what was given. At least it gave Thomas some time to catch up with Aurelie. Laughing at the new name of "fun-time punch," brown curls bounced around her shoulders as she shook her head, finishing the glass in her hand and setting it down on the table for the moment. Pacing was essential - the name of the game was now endurance. How else was she going to have her fun, if she were wasted? Dancing became the topic of conversation once more, Aurelie offering Lillian up to Thomas, while Leo asked if she wanted to hit the dance floor as well. It was a set up too good to ignore, and so with nothing but confidence, Tara made her way over to Aurelie and asked her to dance. Lillian spoke up, asserting her rights to the first dance before the blonde was whisked away, the geokinetic placing her hands on her hip in a similar manner as the power mimic with a smile. Glancing back at Aurelie, the blonde politely declined, he humility regarding her appearance both charming and amusing, as Lillian began assembling a girl posy to hit the dance floor together. Lillian's first victim, Kerrigan was quick to share the love when she grabbed hold of Daylia, the three spinning onto the dance floor together after passing their drinks off to their respective dates. Turning her attentions back to Aurelie, she gave the girl a small smile, shaking her head as she playfully tugged the girl towards the dance floor. Thomas offered to look after the blonde if she didn't want to get involved in the dance, though she was glad when he gave her some encouragement to take to the dance floor with the rest of them. She didn't have to do anything fancy, it was more just the act of spending time with her friends. " Ok, you don't have to dance. You can just stand in the center and let us all dance around you. Thomas has Leo for company, as well as the dates for the girls Lillian use kidnapped," she said simply, passing Cammi on her way to see Thomas. She gave the girl a small wave, motioning towards the dance floor in case she wanted to join them as well. Dancing with girlfriends was often much more fun that the somewhat awkward dance with a man, waiting for their hands to wander where they shouldn't. Maybe she had just been dancing with the wrong men - that was a distinct possibility. Seeing, however, the blonde wasn't going to budge, Tara gave a small pout before it melted into another smile. She was having too much fun to let something like that ruin her mood. " Alright, then. Keep the boys in line while we're gone, Aurelie," she called over her shoulder before disappearing into the dancing group with Lillian, Kerri and Daylia.

╳ Codename: Aegis ╳ Team: Omega ╳ Location: Mansion=>Prom ╳ Thinking: My team leader is barely twice the size of my daughter. ╳ "Yes Sergeant, I'm in route to the mansion." Michael said into his mobile phone. "No, that won't be necessary at all, you guys have already done enough for me and my daughter. But I'll let you know if I need anything otherwise. Roger. Out." The photokinetic hung up the phone and slightly shook his daughter awake as the taxi had pulled up to the gate of the mansion. She grumbled slightly, sitting up, one hand rubbing her eyes, and the arm a stuffed tiger striped teddy bear clutched tightly.
"C'mon sweet heart," He said in a hushed voice. "We're here, it's a little chilly, so put on your sweater." As the cab came to a stop, Michael opened the door and stepped out, he brushed off the hem of his Army Dress Blue Uniform. Sure, he wasn't in the military by paper, but it was second nature to him, that it would have killed him to not follow normal procedures in arriving to the next 'duty station' in his Army Service Uniform (ASUs). He shouldered the standard issue Army green duffel bag and picked up a large black suit case that had a relatively long black box attached to it.
As he closed the trunk, his daughter was sliding out of the cab, with her tiger bear behind her. The cab driver handed her the handle to a bright pink white and blue roller suitcase that was easily her size and then some. She was wearing a dark pink zip up hoodie over a white summer dress. "Daddy, I'm cold. Lets go inside already." She whined as a slight breeze picked up.
"All right, all right, let me pay him, go ahead and take your stuff to the front door, I need to pay the man for taking us here." Michael said to his daughter. With that being said, there was no hesitation for her to wait in the cold any longer than she needed to. Just like her father, if it wasn't necessary, then it didn't need to be, when it was serious business at least. There was always room for shenanigans. Always.
He handed the driver what he owed and a tip on top of that, then proceeded his way up to the front door of the mansion where his daughter was repeatedly pressing the door bell. That was until a woman had opened the door. Judging by her appearance, Michael recognized her from one of the dossiers he'd received.
Storm looked down at the youngster, her annoyed face immediately calmed and welcomed her with a warm smile, gesturing them both in.
"You must be Michael," Storm said, and then knelt down to Elizabeth's level, "And you must be Elizabeth." She said with a smile. She stood back up and faced Michael, taking a look at the black case he had with him. She gave him almost a motherly 'you shouldn't be playing with those' kind of look. "I understand you have some... dangerous equipment with you, I'll be taking that to the Armory and you can arrange with your team leader or another instructor as to when you can play with your gun. You can go up to your dorm, where accommodations have been arranged to where you will have two conjoined rooms to yourselves for you and your daughter. Most of the students are currently at our prom event, you may partake in the festivities, which I highly recommend and get to know your team leader and the rest of the Omegas." She finished, slowly reaching for the black case at Michael's foot.
Michael immediately stepped and put his leg in the way of her hand. "One, it's not a gun, it's weapon, it's not a toy to play with, even my daughter could tell you that. I appreciate the accommodations for the two of us. But please, next time ask permission before you attempt to take my weapon." Michael said, being unreasonably snarky in his statements. He stepped his foot back, picked up the case and handed it to storm, who refused to say another word and walked off after handing Michael the keys to their room. "Welcome to our new home, I guess." Michael said to Elizabeth, who was fascinated with the large open area that they were standing in. "C'mon, lets go put our stuff away in the room. Want to come to the Prom with me, I need you to keep all the mean girls away." He said, laughing as Elizabeth nodded, puffing out her chest and balling her hands into fists and putting them to rest on her hips, "I'll protect you daddy! I won't let mean people get you."
--------------------
Michael entered the premise in which the prom was being held, with Elizabeth holding her dad's hand, and her tiger bear in the other. Michael scanned the area looking for the blonde that matched the dossier. It wasn't until he noticed a group of four (Aren, Cissa, Raine, Felix), where the platinum blonde Brit was towered over by the others. He didn't believe the dossier to be true that someone of her age and skills would truly be this short, but then again, he's seen a lot of crazy things since he became a father.
"C'mon sweetie, I found my new boss." He said, to his daughter as he tugged her hand slightly. She immediately obeyed and followed the guidance of her father as he lead her through a crowd of strangers. "Are they going to be like Sergeant Stevens? Because Sergeant Stevens had kittens and a ferret." "I don't know, she might."
Michael stepped up to the Aren, Felix, Narcissa, and Raine and waited for a natural pause before interrupting. "Excuse me, Narcissa, I'm Michael, Michael Brusch. I'm the photokinetic that's been assigned to your team. And this here is my daughter Elizabeth." He said, gesturing to the child now hiding behind his leg, still in her pink zip up hoodie and white dress. However, the only thing seen was a pink sleeved arm holding onto a tiger striped teddy bear. "C'mon sweet heart say hello." He said stepping to the side, so that she wasn't in hiding anymore. "H-Hi, I'm Elizabeth." Elizabeth:

Name: Jacen Reilly [Kraken] Team: Omega Location: Frontier University Ahh, Jacen had met people like Marcel, always overthinking things. Jacen didn’t take nearly as much time planning things, usually taking the information he had and coming up with a plan, and going with that plan, without much further thought. Jacen was intelligent of course, he just went with his first instinct as opposed to, as Marcel put it; thinking outside the box. “Hey, that’s not fair, we’re plenty fearless.” He grinned a lopsided grin, “And sides, she made us swear not to tell anyone about that collection.” Inside, Jacen looking around, still bemused by the shiny decorations hanging everywhere. He noticed for the first time (probably spurred by the amount of high-heels populating the area,) that he was really pretty short compared to the other students. Huh. He moved over to the punch bowl, standing next to Roland and Dimitri as they talked about their dates. “At least you two have dates.” He said with raised eyebrows, joking as he got his own glass of punch, momentarily forgetting his own paranoia. When Marcel came back he looked up from his cup, remembering that he was supposed to be recruiting. “Huh? Oh yea.” He looked to the other two men, “Army of un-enthusiasm. Join and stuff.” Jacen was getting bit disappointed. This was looking like it might genuinely be a relaxing night. He didn’t really know why he was disappointed by that…

Gabriel Byrne Location: Prom Thoughts: Well, least someone isn’t laughing And yet in another few seconds, Gabriel managed to make a fool of himself. In front of a group of people. In a suit. He felt as though the world around him was just waiting to laugh at him. Turn him into a grand cosmic punch line that he could never recover from. He prayed that he could be struck dead of lightning at this point. This would be the only way he could redeem himself from this moment. He wasn’t one to have really gotten embarrassed. He spent so much time in the shop that he didn’t worry about doing something stupid. He hardly did anything dumb. But to do what he just did, after only being here for a couple hours. On his first day of all days. Man he should be ready to jump off a bridge, or perhaps play in traffic. Anything to get him out of this situation that he so hopelessly put himself in. Grabbing a paper towel he quickly wiped up the mess he made, the low light hiding just how red his face truly was. He could hear the tall dark-haired fellow (Felix) chuckle at his expense. Gabriel was many things, but dim-witted was not one of them. He right now just wanted to get the hell out of here, or perhaps get hammered. Either one sounded great right now. He just needed to get himself out of here. But alas, someone was showing some kindness to him. The dark-haired girl (Raine) had been kind enough to check and see if he was alright. She offered him another drink to replace the one that he had lost. She remarked on his reflexes as well. He politely took the drink and downed it in two gulps. “Yeah I’m alright. Ever see someone do a standard tuck-and-roll before? Where I come from it’s how we say hello.” he answered, in a half joke, half sarcastic remark. He didn’t want to be mean towards her, but considering she came from the crowd that had the dark-haired gent he was wary of just who to approach. He could tell there was alcohol in the drink as he basically inhaled it, and she likely would have some reservations regarding his drinking that so quickly. With a shrug, he stated simply, “Part of my mutation gives me an extremely powerful metabolism. It’ll take me a lot to get even a buzz. Though the high sugar content will be great for me, I kinda need to be eating constantly. The name’s Gabriel, Siege is the codename I guess. And I think I’m an Alpha?” he was wary as to what to do next, he had no idea how these “teams” worked and just what the point of them was. Man he needed to get out more.

Vee was hoping that maybe the two by the fountain hadn't heard the cracking branch, and was considering just walking away, but the girl [Katarina] wasn't fooled. She withdrew from the boy [Elliot] and clasped her hands calmly behind her back. "Come out, come out, whoever you are..."
Should she just ignore the girl and leave? It's not as if the girl would be able to identify her in the future anyway. Despite being in the open, Vee was still partially obscured by the darkness. As she was having her mental debate, the girl's [Katarina] attention had already turned back to the guy. Her words to him were velvety. It reminded her of a cat, if cats could speak.
What the heck. The night was still young, and Vee was bored. She didn't normally talk to people, she would welcome the change for the moment. Vee approached them with slow, lax steps, hands stuffed into the pockets of her navy blue jacket.
"Well, aren't you just the perfect yoga instructor." she said dryly, her tone soft.
As she got closer, she noticed something on the girl [Katarina], near her neck. She couldn't see it clearly, it being hidden by the darkness. She remembered seeing the girl's hand cover her neck when the branch snapped. What was she covering?
Vee studied her for a second, then her gaze shifted to Eli. He looked like he was using the soda as an inhaler. "Though it does seem like you need those breathing exercises."

((OOC: Was asked to post this for cln4evr, as she is having trouble posting in this guild.))cln4evr "There is a war coming, are you sure you're on the right side?" Omega's Name: Brown, Farren Brown but you may call me Mother Nature
Location: Forge's office. Remarks: Sometimes, you need to step outside, get some air, and remind yourself of who you are and who you want to be. ╘═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╛
Farren chuckled and shook her head as her roommate wandered back over to the table of cool gadgets, picking up the gun once more. "Handle that with care, chica, would you please? I doubt the safety is on, if it even exists. She could see the obvious nervous look on Forge's face at the thought of Orchid doing anything with whatever was lying around in his lab and bit back another chuckle before becoming quite serious in her demeanor.
"Basically Forge I'm done with this running gag of me not existing in the Institute's database. I want my file restored, and I would like people to knock off playing the amnesia card around me. I'm tired of it. You professors need to reexamine your concepts of jokes if any of you think "forgetting" a former student is still funny after a week. Farren had meant to be jolly and warm when she came down to set things straight and have Forge return her file back to normal, but it had been a long week and she was fed up with the bull.
"Ah, you must be Ms Brown. Yes, the Headmasters have informed me of your confusing state of mind. Are you sure I'm really the one you should be talking to? I'm willing to bet Professor McCoy would be able to help you out. He is a whiz on how the imagination operates.Farren was taken back, her eyebrows shooting up her forehead in part surprise, part disbelief. A head case?! Was he really implying such a thing? Did all the professors think the floramancer was fabricating her previous life within the mutant school? Her fists clenched tightly as a means for gaining back control and she kept her gaze trained on the pulsing veins along her fingers as the tips of her nails bit into and broke the skin covering her palms. "Crazy." She whispered the word as clips of memories flashed in her mind. Memories of pain, of confusion, of denying one's self. The young woman then turned her hurt pale yellow eyes to Forge, trying desperately to squash of urge to lash out at her elder, but finally faced her roommate instead, a bony finger jutted out towards the Native American in an accusing manner."They called me crazy for destroying Paris the way I did. Teagan and Isabella were the ones who got mind ******** but I was the one declared mentally unfit for duty. I wasn't crazy then and I'm not crazy now!" She whirled her head around to face Forge, her blood dangerously rising to a boiling point, and the room swirled within her vision even after she ceased to move. Something wasn't right. Farren could feel her veins pulsating painfully within her limbs, expanding and squeezing themselves. The floramancer clutched at her body as the sensation traveled. It was like she was back in the midst of the fire pits of the Skyshroud outpost.Limbo, son of a b***hThat stupid rock Forge had been messing around with had to have come with her during her portal jump last week and now she realized she had poisons from a Limbo-based explosion coursing through her system. Name: Narcissa Grace Lucania-Stone [No relation, to Any Alpha's] Codename: Solaris Team: Omega Location: Prom Temperament: Moderate The sun goddess fell silent when the men spoke to one another, eyes translucent. Stars sparkled behind her baby blues, lightening them…Enough that it was almost like looking through a window made of ice. She enjoyed watching the destruction of the Alpha-pup. It was, so far, the highlight of the night. The light hearted barbs that their dates threw around drew a distracted smirk to her lovely features…Narcissa found it endearing. At least she did, for the time being. When addressed directly by the size shifter, she looked up from the liquid in her cup, smirk widening. “Yes, love, We will see.”
Aren hadn’t been paying much attention, if he thought that Felix could possibly catch up to him in one evening. The speedster was…All things considered, not a bad choice for a date to this…Meaningless, moronic, sham of a soiree. Handsome and intelligent were two things she had learned not to expect out of men…But for the most part…He was safely enjoyable. He didn’t cause her to change who she was. Didn’t temper her, tame her, or heaven forbid—Cause her to forget who she was, with one witty retort.
She’d caught that her little eagle’s thought process had drifted back to Catalina, and she laughed softly…The sound demure; Likely lost against the music.
“I also recall informing you of who you belong to when we met…But…”, she paused, the memory causing her eyes to suddenly dance with barely contained amusement, “It seems that the red skin has had enough of the pale face holding him down...Fair enough.”
The reference was clearly in regards to the bint who had held him at gun point on the island. One who's face Narcissa had happily rearranged, for threatening that which belonged to her. The memory made her think of herself as a modern day Picasso.
He’d still not quite understood the Omega brand. He was…Soft. But it would creep in eventually…Like the cold, on a winters evening. Some of the Alpha’s may have been acceptable life forms…But it only took one, to ruin her opinion of all of them.
That, and it was endlessly entertaining to watch Ruthie puff up like some kind of tropical bird when her feathers were ruffled.
Her eyes rounded faintly when Felix slid effortlessly into the argument, intentionally, or unintentionally calling Aren out on what she’d only hinted at. Ruthie’s reaction was worth every penny she’d spent dressing up most of her team for this shindig. Something about watching friends destroy one another was quite like a train wreck. It was hard to look away. Felix stated that Aren had made a poor judgment call, in choosing the Alpha. Her elegant eyebrows arched as she mentally zipped her lips, leaving it alone.
After all…Why waste her breath on something so pathetic, if Felix was going to fight her battle for her? Who needed a white knight, when the dark ones were twice as nice.
Narcissa paused when Aren mentioned enhancements, a curious expression touching her lips. She’d been more thinking about Ruthie electrocuting him like a key on a kite string, and that getting caught on camera.
“Only you, would think I meant a sex tape.”, Leaning her golden head against Felix’s arm, she chuckled charmingly, lips sliding into a sly smile as her nickname softened her ire…It made her pliant…Passably human. “No enhancements? Says the man that can shift his size at will…”
The sun goddess silently swallowed Aren’s challenge and his thanks, remaining close to Felix. To somewhere safe. She didn’t like when he looked at her that way. When he changed, and became less of a boy…Less, of an inexperienced child fresh from captivity.
That was a problem.
Hearing Ruthie’s name snapped her out of it, and she raised her wrist that had a small clutch hanging from it, doing a small, unintentionally sexy twist as she announced —“Camera phone, present.”
Felix glanced towards her, seeming surprised with any sort of technical knowledge coming out of her mouth. It was understandable, considering the only thing she let others see her reading was a Cosmo. If that startled him…He might just gasp and wet himself if he questioned her knowledge of firearms. Glancing up at him she winked sweetly, leaning softly to his side. “I’m the person to ask for everything. Besides…How did you know I was thinking of starting a You Tube Account strictly reserved for hazing?”
There would be no way to tell by her expression, if she was serious or not.
“It might be the alcohol speaking, but I can’t see myself passing up the chance to record you lot making asses of yourselves.”
It wasn’t the alcohol.
Remembering at the same moment, that Aren wished her not to fight—She bit her tongue…It took everything in her not to warn Ruthie that the camera tended to add ten pounds…So she might want to purge in the bathroom first.
Lest the Kool-Aide mascot think she was trying to steal his thunder.
Aren called them Ladies, and she bit her tongue again, hard enough that she visibly winced. Why did he have to make this harder? It wasn’t fair…Sure, they were both female…But she was the only lady of the group. The other was clearly of the canine variety.
Perhaps Lassie, was more adequate than Ruthie.
She stifled a laugh at Felix’s response to taking advantage of Ruthie, elegant hand coming to rise over her mouth—Head turning away as she forcibly held in a scathing barb. Oh, this was killing her…Being nice, or even pleasant, had never been her strong suit. Especially not when it came to an Alpha.
Did Aren know how much he was asking of her?
She turned her gaze to the speedster as he warned her of his charms, shaking her head slightly...Leaning up to press a brief, chaste kiss to his cheek. It was not meant to make either party uncomfortable…But forgiveness, for Felix doing the same without permission. He’d been a good choice. “Perhaps I should be…But the night is still young. So. We will see.”
The native offered up a toast, and she smirked with Felix’s reply—Delighted with the sudden irony. “A night of forgetting, would definitely be more accurate.”
‘Preferable.’, she thought dryly.
Her amusement was cut off as some…Twit, suddenly decided that it was time for gymnastics. Her head tilted as Felix chuckled, sizing up the newcomer. At first…She’d thought he was one of her new Omega’s….But not with that clumsiness. He reeked of high functioning retard. “Felix…Don’t insult the humans. It’s like…Insulting children with fetal alcohol syndrome.”
The sun goddess winced when Ruthie talked to it, watering it. Made it think it was “people”.
Hearing him state he ‘thought’ he was an Alpha caused her to roll her eyes heavenward. If he had to think about it, he would wear black and blue well.
She leaned her head against Felix’s arm, content to watch the hormonal train wreck down his booze…The drink hadn’t touched her—Nor had he directly addressed her. He was…out of harm's way. For the time being. Her attention was stolen abruptly by another approaching…This time, it wasn’t so much the man that caught her attention…It was the little girl that walked dutifully at his side.
Her countenance seemed to pale for a moment as she froze...Recalling the conversation she’d had earlier that day about her new recruits with Emma. She’d mentioned that one of them was an unusual case…But she’d never mentioned a child. Her formal training in etiquette kicked in from child hood as she coolly addressed Aegis on auto pilot. Perhaps it was the outfit, that drew such a formal response from her. Or it was the shock. “It’s a pleasure. I’ve heard…Quite abit about you, Mr. Brusch.”
Didn’t he know what they did here? What attacked them? What they fought? There were students at the school as young as pre-school in the elementary areas…Some developed mutant abilities far earlier than others. It was rare, but a fact. But why would anyone bring their child here?
“Though for some reason…None of what the Headmistress addressed with me, included…The lovely, Elizabeth.”
Likely because Emma would have known the blonde sun goddess would have pitched a fit. There wasn't a fat chance in hell, that she wasn’t still going to throw the tantrum of a lifetime. She had an invisible soft spot for children…Helpless creatures, that couldn’t defend themselves. Having her father active on her team, if her mother was out of the picture, could make her orphan, in short order. Glancing down at the little girl, she remembered things from long ago… Things, that had caused her bitterness to grow. Her hard expression softened in ways that could easily be measured as she released Felix, handing him her drink so she could bend gracefully down and address the child properly.
She didn’t believe in baby talking kids.
They were just little insane adults. “Hello Elizabeth.”
“My name is Cissa…”, the lovely woman introduced herself, glancing back towards the girls father, a glint of ice in her gaze as she questioned his sanity. They would need to talk, soon, about his placement on her team. This was unacceptable, in every sense of the word. Azure eyes flickered to the tiger striped teddy bear she carried, and she gestured softly towards it, careful not to get too close. “Who’s this?”
As if her team wasn't dysfunctional enough lately. Omega's dating Alpha's...Omega's failing gym and getting kicked off the team... For ******** sake.
"Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire." (OOC: I'm sorry this post is so long. I had Aren, Felix, Raine, Gabriel (2x's), Michael, and Elizabeth to respond to.)

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Team ↠ AlphaxxLocation ↠ Pool Side Fountain Eli listened to what Kat had to say and begin to breathe as she instructed, only for the newly arrived mutant Vee to make a sarcastic comment about Kat being a yoga instructor. Where did yoga even come from? Eli could only try and think of anytime he's ever considered yoga, which, in his recollection there was none. What was this girl talking about.
Drinking slowly from his soda slowly, still breathing, he let out a small belch as he breathed through his nose and the carbonation felt like a cattle prod just got shoved up his nose. His face contort and he rubbed his nose quickly in a feeble attempt to alleviate the burn.
In his mistake in drinking the soda, Eli's nervousness calmed down slightly. Gaining some composure back, he closed his eyes for a second to recall the few society adaption programs he'd been sent to for socialization. "I'm Eli. And this is Kat. Who are you?" He asked, attempting his best at introductions and waited as patiently and still as he could. Unseen, he was wiggling his toes up and down, instead of bouncing his leg to hide the nervousness.
"As for that wine Kat, I'll take you up on that offer if you know where it is. The mansion is dry of it, at least in public access areas." He mumbled slightly, looking away from the two females, as he became shy and slightly more nervous. He was never really big on accepting anything from others. Some things more than others. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ OOC ↠ You know, I've come to realize, that Eli is always surrounded by females..

Who can you trust in this place? In whom can I put my faith? If you're real then show me now--Who you are... How can I love without grace? Shine a light on your face... If you're real then show me now--Who you are... Code Name: Siren Team: Alpha Location: Frontier University (Three Miles West of the Academy) - Chaperone Ability: Sound Manipulation Singing: NothingI might be drunk, soon...Oops. █║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║ “Sometimes, you sound just like Scott.”, Isabella responded, her expression becoming something resigned. She’d long ago learned to recognize when Blake wasn’t going to back down about something. Fighting him at this point would only be a waste of time…And despite his assurances, she didn’t want to squander his entire visit bickering. Cyclops was one of Isabella’s favorite people, next to Storm. He was the father figure she’d needed when her own had…supposedly perished. “If he could rationalize locking me up in my dorm, to keep me from harm… He would.”
“Even if it cost him a team leader.”
Blake confirmed that it would make him happy to give her beads at the festival in New Orleans, and she nodded her head, casting an agreeable smile. If it made him glad, she didn’t see the harm in it…They were cheap, little plastic beads. How much could they really cost?
“Think what you like…But when ‘Mirror Mirror on the Wall’ starts haunting your sleep…Don’t come crying to me.”, Isabella commented teasingly over her shoulder as he spoke that the teams had seen his reasoning when he tried to clear his name. It was true…Some had swayed to his way of thinking. Others still, to this day, thought he was a closet gay.
He claimed that he was no ‘Belle’ and she raised a hand in the air, grasping onto an invisible string. Moving her fist back and fourth, her lips parted and the sound of a church bell left her, echoing in the air. “If that’s the case, southerners take offense way too easily.”
He raised her chin again, inadvertently forcing her to look him in the eye as her mood drifted back towards an apathetic, jaded sadness. His voice was soft…But his words, though they usually consoled her, seemed to have an opposite effect. Her response was equally gentle. Her eyes seemed to grow distant, as if remembering something…But the emotion the topic drew from her was easily understood. “You can color it however you like… In the end…You still left. Everyone, leaves.”
If the Texan listened hard enough, he would likely hear a phantom sound of someone crying the words, instead of speaking them. “Blake… I’m tired of waiting.”
Isabella was slowly starting to believe and acknowledge that there was no end between the bloody war and misunderstandings between humans and mutants. The mutant community would only stand being pushed so far… And the humans could only tolerate so much fear before they lashed out.
He drew her out of her pessimism by teasing her, and she glared balefully, his taunt almost enough to make her groan in annoyance. “What about me, makes you think I enjoy dark and twisty romance?”
“If that’s what you read, you need eye glasses.”
She waved him off, chuckling faintly when he offered to get her a bottled water from his car….She’d only been teasing. He went on to give her the X-Men spiel, and her first thought was to elbow him in the side. A year ago…She would have agreed with everything he said. What he didn’t know, was that she needed to hear these things… She offered up as much hope as she could for her team. But she kept none for herself. Isa didn’t get the chance to respond, but was caught off guard when the boy in the suit sauntered by them. He raised his glass in her direction, and she offered a small wave, wiggling her little fingers. He didn’t seem terribly focused…As he popped from person to person before they could really respond, she half wondered if he had ADD…Or if his nerves were getting the best of him.
Marcel also greeted her, and she turned her smile towards him--Waving as well. She felt bad for some of they boys without dates...They seemed a little bored. Though, prom was really more of a girls dream, to be honest.
Blake quacked at her again, breaking her concentration on her new team member—And she laughed, shaking her head. “You are such a dork.”
At least some things never changed.
Laughter left her just as quickly as it came. Her body tensed, every inch of her suddenly on edge. Blake asked if she was all right, and she paused before nodding slowly…It was a lie. She wasn’t all right at all. But she didn’t want him to worry…Not when he’d just come home. It wasn’t fair. The Texan asked what was wrong, and she sighed, biting on her lower lip for a moment. “It’s….Complicated.”
Isabella kept her glass to her mouth, unthinkingly drinking the punch while Gideon spoke, so she could have an excuse for not responding. The way that Gideon acted…As if nothing was wrong, bothered her. Everything was wrong. They’d not spoken unless exceedingly necessary in over a month. Tilting her glass up again when it was her turn to speak, she realized the glass was empty. Staring at the bottom of it miserably, she took a deep, fortifying breath as the boys greeted one another.
She wished that the floor would just open up and swallow her whole.
Gideon came up with another reason to take her away from a public place and she sighed, shaking her head gently in denial. This conversation wouldn’t happen tonight. She still needed to prepare…Find a way to have it on even ground. Especially, since she doubted he would take anything she said well. “Blake just got here. It would be rude to shirk my duties on someone that hasn’t even been here a full day yet. Scott wouldn’t like it.”
She needed rest…But she didn’t want to. Not as long as Mystique was out there…Not as long as there was a HYDRA agent on her team—Living on campus with them. Another shape shifter. Her unconscious attempt to keep distance took her closer to Blake…Further from Gideon. Mostly, because Blake was closer to the exit… And it kept her out of arms reach. Isabella knew how fast Gideon was…If he didn’t want her leaving without him, she would have to stay two steps ahead of him, at all times.
It was beyond difficult. Her ability made running easier…She could usually hear him coming. But with all of the people pressing in on every side, she was starting to feel claustrophobic. It would be harder to get away.
When he called her out about drinking, her expression hardened through the pain. She’d had one cup, of terrible tasting punch. One. She was legal to imbibe if she wanted to. It wasn’t his place to tell her what she could, and couldn’t do. Reaching over to Blake, she took his mostly full cup from his hand, and replaced it with her empty one—Making eye contact for the first time with Gideon. “Thank you for your concern. I’ll keep that in mind.”
Deliberately, she tipped the glass back, and kept right on drinking to her hearts content. If only, because he told her not to. The spiked punch at prom was a yearly prank. She was quite sure Emma knew of it…No matter how many times they replaced the punch bowl…Ten minutes later, it was just as bad.
She listened to Gideon’s excuse about why he hadn’t arrived…When in truth—He’d never asked her. Granted, she hadn’t given him the chance. But for some reason, it seemed that Gideon was intent on keeping appearances in front of Blake…Why, she couldn’t fathom a guess. Unwanted business…It was easy enough for her to deduce what he’d been referring to. Dealing with the shifter girl, no doubt.
The shifter girl from HYDRA that was always, always with him.
Her head tilting, she cast Blake an apologetic glance…This was clearly something she hadn’t intended he get involved in. She felt ashamed, embarrassed, that she was using him as a shield between herself, and what should be the love of her life.
Picking up on Gideon’s whispered words, she shook her head slowly…Refusing to give him quarter. It was impolite to hold a secret conversation while a friend had come all this way tonight to see her. “No, Gideon…We aren’t doing this here. Not tonight.”
She didn’t bother to hide her words…Blake would get it out of her anyway, later on.
Gideon pretty much dismissed Blake, sending him on his way…As if spending time with her was some kind of service rendered. They were friends…He was one of the closest she had left from growing up at the Academy. She didn’t like him being sent off that way, as if he'd done something wrong.
Isabella sighed tiredly, running her hand through her hair as she took another long drink of the punch to drown out the mutilating sadness that arched through her…Glancing towards the ceiling for a moment, as if looking for help from a higher power.
Steeling her will, perhaps fueled by the alcohol suddenly introduced to her system, she spoke firmly—Albeit kindly.
“Gideon…I came to this function alone. We never discussed attending—Let alone together. It isn’t up to you to evict my friends when you feel its time.”
She’d not said anything about the HYDRA girl…Though she didn’t trust her. She could feel both men trying to be cordial, in some respects, beating around the bush. But she wasn’t a possession. She could do, what she liked, when she liked. If she wanted to drink, she would drink. She wasn’t harming anyone.
The conversation that she and Gideon needed to have…Wasn’t something she was ready for. But just like many other things, he wouldn’t understand. He simply wanted what he wanted.
"I'm really...Really not feeling right. So please. Stop it. Take your own advice, and get out there...Have some fun.", she stated carefully, mixing truth and lies in such a way that her rejection was soft...She nodded her head towards the dance floor, where a group of girls were giggling and having a good time. "There are a dozen girls here, that wouldn't decline a dance."

_______________Peyton Wolf .: Spira | Omega | Super Breath | Prom :.______________________________'Hahaha! I almost took one of them down already!' Peyton had only half paid attention to everything that she was told upon her arrival. Her mind had already been preoccupied with her own thoughts and curiosities. Not to mention, the word ‘prom’ had crossed the conversation and ever since, try as she might, she couldn’t help but completely lose track of what she was being told, while she tuned out the talker and her mind imagined what this prom would be like. She didn’t much care for the general goings on of a prom. She had been to a prom before, two to be precise, and it was all about the same. Music, dancing, drinks, flirting with cute boys. The part of a prom that she really got excited about was the attire. Any excuse to wear a pretty dress and heels was good enough for her. It wasn’t often she got the opportunity. Leotards, spandex and uniforms had once been the only things in her wardrobe. Slowly those items had been dwindling and a more standard collection of clothing had emerged, though workout clothes and a few leos would be ever-present as long as she had any say over it.
As soon as she’d been left on her own, she’d quickly changed and made her way to the prom that had been mentioned. Now it was time to see what sort of people she would be dealing with. It was the perfect chance to not only feel like a movie star walking the red carpet, but also to scope out everyone else at the prom. She was nothing short of excited as she walked into the event, eyes looking around to finally satiate her curiosity. Always happy to meet new people, and eager to get to know a few on this side of the country. She slowly made her way around the area, with every sense of belonging. Looking around, from one cluster of people to the next, she wasn’t quite sure where she should take her presence. Spotting a little girl, she had to be younger than her own little sister, she couldn’t help but stare at her. She was too damn cute, standing with what Peyton could only assume was her father, though he seemed young. Not that it wasn’t unheard of for people to have children at a young age. In fact, quite a few people she had gone to high school with already had kids.
It made her miss her little sister. She could still remember when she was that small, always wanting to play with her, following her around and always wanting to be a part of whatever Peyton was doing. Nearly every day Peyton came home from training at the gym, Ellia would be in her own pink, sparkly little leotard, eager to show her big sister her somersaults, or how well she could balance on the sidewalk curb. She’d taught her how to do a cartwheel, also a one-handed cartwheel. She loved her sister dearly, even when she was a little brat, and already missed her. Fortunately she had been too preoccupied to realize it before, but now that she saw a little girl to remind her of the loveable little punk it was hard to ignore it.
Eyes practically glued to the little girl across the room, soft smile pulling at her features, oblivious to the fact that she was walking across the dance floor. And in her distraction, she wound up colliding with… something. It nearly knocked her off her feet, but she had pretty good balance to help her recover, plus she’d grabbed hold of the thing she’d bumped into, only to realize it was a person. A tall, red-headed girl (Kerrigan). “Oops!” she exclaimed, still holding onto the other girl. She let go once she was sure they were both stable, at least she had only been walking, and not even very fast. She glanced around, taking note of where she was, realizing it had all been her fault, though she’d already been fairly certain of that fact. “Sorry, I guess I wasn’t paying attention to where I was walking.” And at least she hadn’t been carrying a drink. She would’ve felt awful if she’d spilled punch on somebody. She also would have been upset to spill punch on her dress.
She flashed the girl a smile as she let her go, as she was apologizing. It was a simple mistake, she doubted the stranger would be mad at her for it, but you just never knew. Besides that, apologizing was the polite thing to do. That’s what she had been taught anyhow. “But, now that I have your attention,” she joked, straightening her posture while she introduced herself “Hiya. I’m Peyton.” Honestly, she didn’t know who to introduce herself to first. This girl was as good as anyone else in the area, and she was already talking to her. Or talking at her at least. It was a slightly awkward way to start a conversation with a stranger, but it wouldn’t stop her. If anything, it gave her an opening to actually interact with someone. Hell, it forced her to interact with someone, though that had never been much of a problem for her. If she was lucky, she’d bumped into some cool, adventurous, friendly chick and they would end up being best buddies. Maybe she was getting a little ahead of herself, she just wanted to make some friends before being so far from home caught up with her.
Everything she was used to, and everyone she knew, was back in Nevada. She didn’t doubt she would fit herself in just fine, but she would prefer to do it before she ended up eating lunch by herself and found herself lacking someone to listen and agree with her without question, like she did for her friends. Wrong, right or left, she always stood behind her friends. That was all she wanted. She’d had friends like that on the other side of the country, but she would have to find new ones here. On the other hand, this chick could be a complete b***h and dump pig’s blood on her or some other farfetched, b***h-move. At this point, it was a fifty-fifty, it could go either way. Good or bad. She hoped for good, but if things went sour, she could find someone else to complain about her to. Out of all of these people, she was sure she could find one of them that would talk to her. Where there was a will, there was a way, and she definitely had the will. I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your world upside down...

Alpha: Time to dance! Oh the Blond tk user was easily going to be one of her go to friends on the Alpha's. It was extremely easy for the two of them to get along. "That's right you are." Lillian said with a bright smile on her face and her tone full of mock seriousness. In a way she was about Aurelie having to dance with her if the girl did dance, but jokingly witht he matter of fact way she went about it. Oh this group could get into some trouble with ease. Or was it the girls would insight the trouble and the poor boys would have to just go along with it. But it was probably easy to see Tara and or herself instigating such trouble. To Aurelie was certainly able to go along with it easy enough. And Leo and Thomas seemed to be able to do alright with their comebacks to comments. Though by the end of the night she was sure Leo would have lots of practice in coming up with witty retorts on the fly as he seemed the target of much of it. There was no chance in surpressing the giggle that escaped her at Aurie's actions and reply to her stubborn as a mule comment. "That you can." She replied before a devilish smirk crossed her features. It was time for the easily miss interpreted comment time. "I am sure I can get some even better braying out of you another time." She said blowing a kiss to Aurelie. If it wasn't for her powers she would of given the girl a real kiss. Most likely on the cheek unsure of how the blond would take a kiss direct on her lips. "If you mean by twisting of the arm, Tara batting those pretty little eyes of hers, then sure there may of been some arm twisting." Sure she wasn't there. But Leo seemed ever the gentleman so she was sure he would agree easy enough to Tara. That and with Tara's confidence Lillian had a feeling it didn't take much for her to make men puddy in her hands. "Thomas you make sweet young Tara here out to be some kind of man eater." Lillian said with a laugh. "It isn't her fault that the boys get weak in the knees when she is around." Lillian said with a wink to Tara. Sure she didn't know the girl but that didn't mean she couldn't make some friendly assumtions on the matter. "Well then lucky for you and for me you got their dormant genes it sounds like. What ever it was it resulted in me having one smoking hot date tonight." Lillian said hugging the shorter Aurelie from behind around the waist careful not to touch exposed skin. "Oh no no no I wouldn't make him my personal genie. A test subject maybe....." She drew out the maybe teasingly as she gave Leo and innocent smile. Lillian was just giving the boy a hard time. She probably wouldn't try to get him to do anything to bad. The main reason she was holding onto it was because she wanted to have fun about it. "I don't think he could handle the both of us." Lillian replied as Aurie latched onto Thomas saying they needed a third. Before she went on the reply to his comment on her time in the infirmary. Oh those comments about needing the two mens time in a different light that could come across as so much naughtier then it was. She looked over at Thomas and gave him a look of mock hurt. "Oh even when shooting a girl down you do so with such flatery. No wonder the lovely Aurie here wants more of your time." She said all in good fun. It was really doing Lillian some good being out of the lab and medbay and around people closer to her age in a non working compasity. "Aww but it is gonna be so fun." Lillian pouted as Aurelie was refusing to go out and dance with them. "Maybe I can get that dance later in private." This time Lillian planted a kiss firmly on Aurelie's cheek. That familiar surge of energy as she drained another only for the feeling to be accompined by the unfamiliar feeling of Aurelie's powers and memories. If she wasn't used to it being able to push Aurie's personality down. It would do more to influince her own. And thanks to it being such a short touch there was little chance of a tk misshap. "Don't go having to much fun with out me if Tara can't get you to join us." "So sue me I have fun throwing words around people least expect." Lillian said blowing a rasberry at Aurelie. After that she was off to steal a redhead named Kerri. "I will try bigman but no promises. Lets just hope you haven't bored her so bad that she wants to stay with me. My date has already said we need a third for the night." She was just messing with Roland. Lillian knew the pair was having a fantastic time here at prom together. Their little dance number was a clear indicator of that. As she dragged Kerri toward the dance floor her muscle mimic friend snagged onto Daylia another redhead of the Omega's. "Oh good thinking Kerri another hottie for the mix." This group dance was going to be a fun one. "Oh don't worry about that people aren't going to pay attention to how skilled we dance. Just that smoking hot females are dancing together." She replied as they made it to the dance floor. It wasn't long before Tara joined their trio. "Aww couldn't get Aurie to join us to bad. But glad you still joined us out here." It was great to be out on the dance floor with old and new friends a like. She had moved away from the previous group by the punch and snack table so she wasn't there for when Cammi had joined Thomas and the others. She looked over to see Cissa. "Cissa you should join us out here sunshine!" Lillian yelled out to her former leader. It would of been great to have her other best friend out here dancing with them. Though she doubted it would happen the blond heiress seemed embroiled in what was going on with the group she was in. As they danced someone (Peyton) ran into Kerri as the group was dancing. Lillian couldn't help but laugh lightly. It wasn't something she had expected to come about as usually anyone who walked across a dance floor generally were more observent of those around them. But she wasn't the one that was run into, talk about a awkward first encounter. Lillian heard the girl apologize to Kerri for running into her and then introduced herself as Peyton. "Well nice to meet you Peyton. I am Lillian, but if you want to be out here with us you need to start dancing too." Lillian made sure her tone was a friendly one even though she had a nice smile on her face. She wasn't trying to be a b***h just get the girl to loosen up after the accidental run in. "Yeah it looked like it was going to get real interesting with Emma and Narcissa in the fray as well." Dimitri told him. Then again Emma was stacked like a set of legos, so Dimitri wouldn't mind stirring up s**t if it meant he got to see her body for an extra few seconds or so. Maybe he should dislocate someone's shoulder or break it; one up the paladin. More than likely break it if a human got into the Playboy's face. "As for the 5-star performance, i was referring to the dance. The altercation, ehhhhh..." Dimitri trailed off as he tilted his free hand back and forth slightly to represent Roland's performance. " I'd give three to three and a half stars." he joked. With Roland's talents he wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that. "Don't even worry about it dude, i know some chicks that came without dates...play your cards right and you'll leave with one. Play them very well and you may leave with more chicks than our dates put together." Dimitri encouraged to the Kraken. Going to prom solo in a way was bad a** because on one end it showed independence. It showed that one wasn't afraid of doing events like these alone. "I probably would have ducked, went in, sweep and placed him in an arm triangle till he passed out." Dimitri explained. An arm triangle being where the target was being choked out with their own shoulder and the arm of the person that was applying the technique. "That's just me though."So maybe their methods of dealing with some jackass was different but they could agree on one thing, which was that the evening so far was no disappointment. "Yes it has, brotha, yes it has." Dimitri replied before he waited for a few seconds, taking in a quick chew of his cookie before his friend came with 2 drinks. "Haha thanks..and to a night worth remembering." The playboy spoke as he toasted his glass with the Paladin's and knocked that bad girl down. "Do they have Taco Tuesdays?" Dimitri asked Jacen when they were offered to join their special club. He would have asked if they had women, but that would have been unwise in his situation.
