[Stairway]
The winged ghoul wasn't certain what it was that possessed her to go into the Haunted House. Alone. With no one to cling to while she covered her eyes and screamed because everyone else was screaming. But maybe because she was alone, and self-conscious, and just pretty much in one of those nasty moods where proving herself felt like a need and a want combined that she had entered and taken to the stairway. Up ahead she heard voices, other students probably, but suddenly she didn't want to be around anyone and figured she'd only been here a short period of time, maybe she could turn right around and get out while the getting's good!
Unfortunately, as she made the aerial equivalent of turning on one's heel, her leather wings came dangerously close to hitting someone. "O-oh! I, I didn't see you there! I-I'm sorry!" she gasped.

Damien was slowly getting his bearings of what happened before the untimely nap. The flying rabbits, the vines and the sparkly pink fog and then it all fades to black. It was all like a painful headache of having too much alcohol and remembering what had happened last night. He was trying to shake his head to regain some focus in his green, smoky eyes.
However all of a sudden the hounds face sobered up quickly as panic filled its vision. "Wait a minute, we slept next to each other right?" he asked wearily before continuing. "We didn't-" he had to stop his train of thought
There was no way he would, no no no.
Oh, please, don't let there be mold!
he fumbled with his glittery shirt to chest his lower chest for any signs of growth on his skin and, thank jack, after a few passing sweeps with his arm, found nothing but glitter. and poking below that, he found his pants still had its buckle in place and buttons buttoned.
And a sigh was released behind a reassuring sense of relief washed over him.

"Yeah, I woke up... uh, next to you," he stretched the truth swiftly, not wanting to admit to how he'd actually woken up. That was just.. an uncomfortable subject all around. His ears flicked as the boil seemed to panic, and he drew his knees to his chest as he watched Demi search himself for something.
At first, Faint wondered if he'd lost something in the fight, but when he seemed relieved after finding nothing, his gut dropped to the floor - as if it hadn't already be dragging along this entire trip anyways. Demi had been afraid of something. Something that probably should have worried him. "What were you looking for?"
What could be relieving about looking down to see yourself still covered in glitter?

((Stairway)) Xiu, the petite baku, had mentioned this place during their investigating of the Boogy Booth and so Levi thought she'd tackle whatever it was that was inside. Xiu didn't seem particularly all that please by the house when describing it to her. Really- how bad could this overly decorated and frilled place be? Well, the pink and glitter for one had caused the ghoul to twitch with automatic irritation... given how enormously HIGHLIGHTED it all was.. so BRIGHT! If the tatzel didn't know any better, she would have sworn right there and then that there was likely a pink-loving desu-chan involved in all this, recalling the booth from the open house. Both structures had an eerie feel about them, but this house was a good portion of disturbing away from the small booth she'd visited back then. But what really got the ghoul was the sound she mysteriously heard when she walked in... it sounded like some sort of chant. She fought back the urge to run back out right then and then. It was too much. TOO MUCH. WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THIS MELODY?! It was sort or messing with her mind. Levi tried her best to drown out the Of course, the tatzel was not one to turn tail and run back, oh no. Instead, she bolted forward and attempted to climb a nearby staircase. That was when she nearly bumped into a flying figure in front of her. Er- nah nah! Was all ma fault. Er, sorry 'bout that, screecheart!... The face and flying half figure was familiar now on closer inspection. As Levi made out the words, she perked her ears in confirmation that she'd chosen the right name. Tess... it's Tess, right? Well gosh darnit... ya'll rite thar?

Damien was glad that everything was in its rightful place and nothing odd happened while he slept. Demi's relief helped him flop back into a more calm position, He wouldn't be getting the mold today at least. the innocent question from the were tiger startled him as his ears and tail jolted back into a panic and peered at the boil behind bed headed hair that refused to stay in its rightful place above his eyes and not in front of them.
He let out a huff to move the stubborn tendrils of hair from his face before standing back onto his own two feet, dusting off as much dust from his rear as he could. "uh.. it was nothing." he stammered out quietly before biting the inside of his cheek. Damien was sure the real answer of "I had to make sure nothing funny happened in my sleep, down there." would go well with the other boil. even if he assumed Faint would have been worried about the same thing.
"We should probably see if we could move on from this room." he said in a rush before quickly moving past Faint to take point on their expedition with the others that were awake and not clinging to the others in their sleep.
At least he could take minor solace that they didn't cuddle in their sleep, even if it was false solace.

With a flurry of leather wings, Tess reeled herself back, annoyed that even after so long without her legs, her wings were still cumbersome. Thankfully, she managed to recognize the tatzel ghoul from the Slumber Party, "A-are you sure?" she pressed, flying a little closer, partly to see for herself and partly because the place was creeping her out with all the flowery pink and glittery decor. "A-and yes, it's Tess. It's... um... Le-?" she trailed off, a brow quirked, head tilted forward, hoping the other ghoul would finish her name because Tess only knows the first syllable.

Mitsu hadn't even been given a chance to get an answer before she found herself in a hug. "Eh?" She asked a bit startled as the dragon girl pulled her close. Her mind was still bogged down with sleep and wasn't functioning. What was going on?
"P-Poke?" The lupine questioned. Not that she minded hugs but...this was very sudden. It seemed her quick movements had irritated Shun too, somehow.
When Poke finally pulled away a bit Mitsu relaxed doing her best to stay upright. The urge to lay back down was strong. But then..there was a yip....Yip? Curious eyes followed the sound to the creature that Poke was now focused on.
....puppy.......Puppy?? Mitsu's eyes were wide behind her mask. The canine within her wanted to reach out for the creature, the monster in her cringed. So cute....so cute. It left her mind in a mess of confusion.

Faint furrowed his brows at Demi's strange behavior and flicked his tail unhappily. Something else was happening here, and it concerned him. Was there something Faint needed to be worried about? Did Demi know he'd lied and had actually woken up on top of him? Ugh, he hoped not. He really just wanted to spare the boil of the humiliation.
Instead of digging further, Faint let out a puff of a breath in exasperation and rolled to his feet, getting another look around the room from a higher vantage point. There was nothing left of interest, except maybe the bunnies. But Faint didn't want a closer look at the bunnies. They were gross, and freakier than the kittens with their fairy wings.
He reached past the hound to point to an open arch in the wall that seemed to just glow with rainbows and glitter and somuchpink as it continued on into infinity. "I'd bet that's where we should be headed. Toward more horror, I guess." As if to punctuate the thought, children's laughter echoed toward them and a feather floated freely into the room. Faint shuddered and frowned, curling his tail around his leg.

It wasn't very often one came across a half bodied individual that wasn't face down on the floor. Well, this of course discluded her own kin in the sense of not having legs. While she lacked legs herself in natural form, she at least had her long thick tail which was more than adequate for moving around (and taking out opponents). Looked like Tess was doing just fine given her wings too. Levi couldn't have forgotten such a half student however, looking back to their first meeting, and so her name had luckily stuck. Helping the winged ghoul out, Levi completed her name. Levi. Been awhile, ain't it?... ya sure yer fine? Tess did look a bit frazzled and Levi wondered if it was because of her sudden arrival or something else...perhaps this place?
So many things had happened since the sleepover they'd attended, it was amazing trying to catalogue it all into one listing of events. Shaking her head momentarily to try and work the creepy chant out of her head, Levi peered up the stairway behind Tess. Ya hear 'em voices?... thinkin' a venturin' up, were ya? ... got 'lota guts, eh? A playful smirk grew across Levi's face then, toying with the half ghoul. Whether Tess did or not, it was certainly in the tatzel's nature to want to inspect the unknown. Perhaps, however, if Tess did have an interest, Levi wold have herself a partner on this adventure up the unknown sparkling staircase of doom.

Damien watched as Faint pointed in the direction of another area that, much to his dismay, had even more pink and glitter and rainbows. The boil had to stop himself from retching as he looked back at the tiger boil with a pout on his face. "What fun." he uttered mournfully and rolled his eyes at the shrieking sound of laughter by human scarelings or whatever they were called.
"I'd rather just crawl into bed right now, after that nap." he muttered back before letting out a yawn and kicking a winged bunny on the ground. horrible looking creatures with their nasty dust and their deep glassy eyes. he let out a sneer at the sight of the piles of winged creatures, he wasn't even sure they were safe to eat.
"What a waste of possible meat." he cried out before slumping his arm over the other boil in a lazy hold and a carefree smile, as the dust hit his nostrils yet again. "Onwards Faint, to more mental torture!, no need to be a scaredy cat." he cooed back before tugging the boil down the path to keep him company, just so he himself would feel the need to freak out and go flailing out of the house and back to the safety of his room and bed.
And Jack, was that bed nap idea getting more tempting than ever.

Ulmuka greeted Art with a handshake, happy to see someone else with very good manners. He was intriguing to look at and the strix stared at him quite a bit as he explained to Vero chivalry and the like.
Muka got a bit distracted by his headache and looked away, rubbing his head. He caught sight of Damien and Faint still asleep, cuddling and then the slow process of waking up.
He giggled.
Taking a step aside from Edel (she seemed safe with Vero and Art) he approached the furry boils, clapped both of them hard on the shoulder and giggled loudly.
"YOU TWO WERE CUDDLING. FANTASTIC." He also said it much louder than was needed and burst into laughter.
They had seemingly found a way past and so he motioned back to their other companions. "This way!"

Faint nodded his head vigorously at the idea of a nap. "I'm right with you on that one." Oh a nap would cure this all. Or a shower. A shower would probably work better. Could he just have both at the same time? He'd snooze in the shower a little and let all the glitter run off into a drain so he never had to see it again. And he'd do it before he ever shifted again so he'd never have to know what it's like to be a sparkletiger.
He looked down at the bunnies with some disgust. "If you eat those, they'll probably explode into glitter in your mouth. Then you'll really be urinating glitter." And Faint would always know what Demi thought was his territory, because it would look like a fairy had taken up residency. Ah the wonders of being a dog. Gross.
Faint groaned in half-hearted protest, leaning his head against Demi unhappily. Somewhere deep, deep down, he might have thought this was a little fun, and he might even look back on it and smile, but right now it was just a torturous dungeon with no end, and there was nothing left to do but move forward. "I'm not a scaredy cat," he protested as he began moving for the horrible hallway. "Try not to let your tail get too far between your legs, though."
His tail poofed as the bird boil clapped him on the shoulder and surprised him. "We were not cuddling!" He growled vehemently.

"At least we agree on that!" Damien said enthusiastically, glad that he wasn't the only one that wished this was over, or at least had a giant room with pillows in it. maybe an indoor shower to boot, sleeping with glitter on didn't exactly seem like the greatest idea for the dog boil. he twitched his tail in irritation as some to the glitter managed to work its way down to the skin.
"Oh Jack, marking territory with glitter, perish the thought Faint." he cried out after imagining what it would be like to come across a tree coated with the stuff. He defiantly wasn't going to chop down on one of those nearly dead butterfly things anytime soon.
As the other boil came into contact, he felt his grin getting wider. At least Faint made for good company during all this, for someone who's only visiting. He let out a chuckle as he followed in step with the boil "Yeah yeah visitor, I'm not the one compensating with my tail size." he sneered out jokingly before prodding at the were Tigers glittery vest.
His ears quirked back after the loud statement from the avian boil and the sudden pressure on his shoulder before the words actually hit him.
"Dude, we what?" he asked dumbly before shaking it off, it was while he was asleep, while they both were, it couldn't have been helped. "So, was it as good for you as it was for me?" he growled out lowly before letting out a hearty laugh and dragging Faint through the hall by his ear, albeit gently. Even he knew that ears were to be treated well.

“Good evening to you Art, the pleasure is mine” the frost demon replied in greeting, bowing. “I'm Edelweiss, Edel if you so please."
A slight blush appeared on the frost demon's pale face after what had been a rather ....embarrassingly acute observation from the insect boil. Edel was not unfamiliar with these customs of chivalry, but ah, for it to be pointed out like that. (But it seemed Vero was genuinely earnest, which spared Edel the embarrassment of what would have been a rather awkward explanation from Art)
Some of the other had stirred from their slumber, and some of them had left. Ulmuka was quick to notice as usual, and had already approached the two boils from the other group they had caught up with. What was that about cuddling?
Nevermind that now, she told herself, as she hurried to catch up with the rest who had begun to move.

"Not cuddling," Vero clarified for the stricken fuzzy boils. "But asleep against one another without being aware of it."
It didn't mean to ruin Mooka's fun. It just liked being honest.
It also didn't feel like mentioning tail-pants tucking again, given their protests from before. Doing so while they had been asleep would have probably cemented the de-anttennae process.
But it would ponder Art's words for a while longer. Demons and their names were a funny business all their own: certainly worth the trouble of looking into. For now, the newly introduced concept would keep Vero's interest. "Chivalry . . . This we shall look up," the little spirit said as it followed at Edel's heels, dragging the sleeping Natalia's along by her tail still lodged in his shorts.
